I can honestly say that the Essentia mattress and pillows are the best part of my home - I use any excuse to be in bed, from sleeping to working to watching TV & movies. It has made such a difference for me and I cant imagine owning any other mattress. I sleep better not only because of the comfort of the memory foam, but because I literally and figuratively breathe easy knowing that its all natural.Additionally, the people behind Essentia are so wonderful. When I visited the store I felt extremely welcome and that I could take my time experiencing the beds. The store is so bright and the design is simple - its all about the beds, which speak for themselves.The customer service is also wonderful via email, the website and social media. I love that Essentia promotes healthy living from every angle - they have a lot of informative information on their website. All things considered, I am a very proud owner of Essentia products and I look forward to at least 10 comfortable, non-toxic years with my mattress set!

Ok here is the deal folks. I have had a mattress by Essentia now for 3 years. I absolutely love that they are natural latex and they are not wildly high priced. For the first year, also, it was fantastically comfortable. But that wont last. After 3 years, I am to the point of having to replace it. I can feel the slats of my bed through the mattress. It has lost its cushion and softness. I am bummed. I want and need a natural mattress...but after paying $5k for one, it better last more than 3 years!

I bought the Grateful bed a few years ago and it is the best mattress Ive ever had. And hasnt lost any of its firmness in two years and there are no indentations or unevenness like most other foam mattresses. It is very supportive and most of my back pain is gone. I love this mattress and I would buy this again

Alexandra was very courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful and even suggested to help with the dolly. The whole process was very pleasant and I left with a queen Tatami. The customer service with Alex Hunt at the store in Santa Monica was great - purchasing the bed was a smooth process. The only issue I had was that my phone number and address were entered incorrectly and while it was corrected at the store, it was not communicated to those delivering my bed, so there was some back and forth with me and the delivery company. Otherwise, the bed is great too, and I plan to purchase another one when I buy a condo in a few years.

A very comfortable and laid-back shopping experience. You have all the time you need to try out and lounge on a variety of Essentia mattresses without sales pressure. I ended up buying the Dormeuse. It took a few weeks for the body to fully adjust and it is by far the most comfortable mattress I have ever had the pleasure to experience. Temperature wise the mattress tends to run a little warm so I got special heat reflecting mattress pad and sheets that work very well.

I could rave about the comfort of an Essentia mattress, or I could tell you about the tremendous value of owning one. I could speak about the comfortable and inviting atmosphere at Essentia Santa Monica, with its airy, loft-like interior, just 2 blocks from the Pacific ocean. I could even tell you about Daniya, who is so charming and genuine you could never imagine a more personable host in introducing you to the world according to Essentia. Instead, I prefer that you visit them yourself and see what the fuss is all about. You won’t be disappointed.

We got a new mattress for Christmas and we couldnt be happier. When we visited the store, Jack recommended the Dormeuse but I was not totally convinced as Ive slept all my life in a hard mattress but he insisted that that mattress was the right one for me. And he was absolutely right. Since the first night we felt in love with the mattress and its becoming hard to leave the bed in the morning. It feels like you are floating in a cloud. Its totally worth the investment.

Great staff, knew their stuff and werent pushy. jurys still out on the mattress as weve only had it for a week, but so far so good! my back pain is slowly going away....if you are in market for a new mattress, this is definitely worth a look....

I purchased my mattress and was told that it would be delivered in 3 weeks. This is also the delivery timeframe that Essentia advertises on their website. It has now been 5 weeks and my mattress still has not shipped. I was not alerted to the fact that there would be a delay. I have tried to contact the company and have received very poor customer care -- nobody has been able to give me information about what is causing the delay, and I am promised call-backs with no follow-through. I tried emailing, but received no response.

An excellent mattress, very well made. The staff who served us were quite well-informed, courteous and efficient. We would certainly recommend your product to anyone.

The WORST COMPANY EVER!! The mattress was loaded with mold! They refused to refund my money. Latex should NEVER under any conditions get mold. This company are liars and a fraud.

My son is a gymnast and needed a supportive mattress. The staff was terrific and knowledgable. He LOVES his new mattress. And I love my pillow!!

Purchased this bed a few years ago and it was the biggest waste of money on my life. Has caused arthritis in my elbows and shoulders. Contacted essentia and they wanted to give me 20% off on a new bed which is the deal they’re always giving on the internet so it was kinda like a slap in the face. Spend 6k on a bed and get service like this?? Wouldn’t recommend these beds to anyone. Worst ever.

The mattress heats up my back, I wake up from the sensation of heat every night. The pillow Started to sink in and didn’t support my neck so if I use the pillow I wake up with a stiff neck. Wish I never invested into this mattress.
