This is one of the best stocked Goodwill stores that I have visited in Los Angeles. It has a lot more than just clothing and a few knickknacks. In fact, it has a rather large section devoted to all types of interesting donations, many of which appear to be new items that must have been purchased in bulk. They have super comfy pillows that are brand new, a small assortment of antique furniture and stereo equipment, and some other very interesting housewares. Interestingly, this store does not have a large assortment of Halloween things like the other stores I have visited this weekend.

Books here were I repeat were inexpensive and now they raised up the prices for no reason. Books dont even fit in shelves anymore because the prices are high and they wont even lower them. Never come here until they lower them.

This location just opened. It is so well organized, clean and the staff is super friendly. Parking lot is tight but if you go early you can get a spot. Parking in neighborhood is tough you need to park on Santa Monica. I hope they are able to maintain this store.

Great selection for a thrift store. They dont do returns any more but you can exchange clothing or electronics that dont work, within a week if the tags are still attached.

I frequent Goodwill. Thrift shopping is fun to me, but, this particular day I was left with a bad taste. The lines were long and there were two cashiers. I’m guessing one was cash and the other was credit. I did not know this but luckily, I travel with both. However, not everyone does. Today, in particular, a young man didn’t. I’m assuming he was oblivious to the cash and credit line as well because we were both in the credit aisle and he tried to pay with cash. I kid you not, the female cashier, told him “I said credit, now you need to go to the back of the cash line”. He remained calm and told her, “I just stood here for a while, I didnt know, I do not want to go to the back” “can it just be rang up and I pay really quick and leave”. The argument she gave definitely took longer than ringing his things up would’ve. Mind you, we are all just waiting in line at this point. While she argued. With a customer. A customer paying their money in a store she works at. After being stubborn she allows him to pay cash....after all that. But,then.......she refuses to give him his change. Even after the petty display of control the cashier showed, I still wouldn’t have expected this. Like a fool, I paid for my things (I shouldve walked out of line) and left. This will certainly be my last time thrift shopping here.

Large selection of female and male clothes that are good brands and in great shape if not new. Employees are friendly and will help you before you even ask for it which is wonderful. Best goodwill I think Ive been to.

Fine..very clean and new set up..cant try on a thing which renders the 7 day only exchange policy kinda tough to take...boutique is new and nice but seriously name hold police is kinda harsh for a $25 item..think they either could put way better items here or drop the dragnet

I went in for swim trunks. I hadnt realized how amazing this place is for modern society. This means you can practically travel any where in the US and SURVIVE while finding great pieces. I ended up loosing my car keys but got to speak with an associate there that had a lot of positive things to say and I was impressed that he said hed never had a social account before yet was extremely social and intelligent. I left feeling enlightened and inspired.

I like this Goodwill. Its cool. Its kind of difficult to find a lot of things because they tag it a certain way and then they put the clothes on the rack so you kind of got to go through every single piece just to see what color you have on the pair of pants. Its kind of like that everywhere you go. But I think every store should be different. I think people should put a little bit more time into what they do instead of just taking time out to do what they do.

Unfortunate experience with staff here. I understand these are low-pay/volunteer positions, however basic social & critical thinking skills are sadly lacking. Staff is inexperienced and/or apathetic, bordering on rude.

Very well organised, by colors !! and very tidy. I go there all the time, unfortunately half of the staff in very unfriendly ! except for a very nice and helpful tall African-American gentleman (I forgot his name), and two of the female Managers !! The 3 of them are very nice and friendly and do great costumer service.

Omg. I almost dont want to review this and reveal my favorite treasure hunting spot. Half of my wardrobe is from here, and I look fresh! Its common to find new, name brand clothes THAT STILL HAVE ORIGINAL PRICE TAGS (but for ridiculously less. try $3.99 for a shirt). The furniture/home section is vast, the shoes are good quality, and its all priced low. This is THE Goodwill that made me enjoy thrifting. The downside? I compare all Goodwill stores to this location now, and Im always let down. Theres no other like this one.I was in LA today, about 45 minutes from Santa Monica, but decided it was worth going to (I live in the SF east bay, and am only in LA a few times a year). No surprise, I walked out with a sun dress, sweater, shorts, a shirt for my bff, and a lemon shaped cooler, for under $40!! Its the first time I didnt find shoes or costume jewelry, but the lemon cooler bag soooo made up for that. Thanks for existing. Cant wait to be back in LA to treasure hunt once more.
