Surprisingly fast courteous and efficient service .... Five out of Five Stars !!!

I just love SMC. Pro tip: check the library references section for reserved textbooks. Check them out at the front desk at library for 2 hours. Second pro tip - check out related sources as well. History of the subject, other similar textbooks, etc. Also a lot of comparable classes have YouTube channels with lectures, if your an auditory learner. The bookstore deals generally are better than Amazon etc. And the library is free!

This is a serious book store. The poetry section is first rate. The art books are really incredible. The prices are very fair and they have other sections beyond my interests that I assume are great. The old and rare books are amazing to see.

Day 1 of Spring semester and they cannot accept debit/credit card, only cash and check because of ‘system failure’. They also have been out of stock of student bus passes for MONTHS. This bookstore is poorly managed. Expect significant inconveniences. The actual staff is nice and helpful, but they can only do so much when the management is not up to par.

Working here is positive environment No negativity from employees, employers. Everyone is most helpful. Sorry I didnt find this position when I was younger These folks are like family

It can be madness so order your books ahead online to just pick up and be on your way.
