Had to buy 2 cans of paint to cover my 500 sq foot room, spent almost 100$ to do my living room and its still blotchy and I can see spots after many coats. I came to Williams thinking the price and store would mean a easier painting experience becuase the paint would be superior but it was not. When I came to purchase a 2nd can of paint, I told the employee the problem I was having and he suggested a much more expensive can, so I went with his advice to no avail. It covers the same. This has all been very disappointing, I should have just went to lowes like I always do.

I came in on a wednesday evening to look at colors . You man gave me a fan to take home to my wife. She picked out colors. Came in thursday morning and a different associate got my room measurements and color choices mixed my paint and I went home and had room painted before 2pm ! And had the right amount of paint the 1st time !

Best paint to use. Smooth, gliding like a bird over walls. The thing I didnt do was not listen to what my salesman tried to tell me I needed to paint over wall paper, so now the wall paper has pulled up at the seams. Its ok, but I will listen and buy what they tell an inexperienced painter to buy and leave painting to professionals. Im 83 and even though the paint went on smooth, I do not want to come back in my second life as a Painter. Over many years, we have always used SHERWIN- WILLIAMS paint and their great products.I would say buy SHERWIN- WILLIAMS paint and products and also buy what the trained salesman tells you, you need to do a proper paint job. I have two regular stores I visit -- one near my office and the other near my home. I cant say enough good things about every visit Ive ever had at either one. I always receive quick and courteous service, suggestions when I need them, and someone always carries my paint to my car. I havent bought paint from another retailer in 10 years or more simply because of the service and product quality. Both are outstanding!

Great and knowledgeable staff willing to go above and beyond to ensure customers are satisfied. Dylan helped me find a stain for my painter to use on our home. He was extraordinary, had lots of patience with my indecisiveness and one-of-a-kind employee that all employers dream of having on their team.

Super nice attendants (Joseph wad very helpful with my needs). I saved $17.25 on one gallon of stain using a coupon and they said I could use the same coupon again for another purchase if I wanted to. Good job Sherwin Williams!

Great service. The staff is always ready to help me with paint choices or carry paint out to my car. The Sherwin Williams paint is a good quality paint. We always wait for the sales or get a coupon off line. It is worth it.

Suprisingly they were friendly, knowledgable and ready to help when you come through the door, they did not wait for me to greet them. The sales person Joseph, even made me aware of sale items without try to extend my purchase and what I came for and I like that.

This is the place I would love to shop for all my paint needs, but - unfortunately - they are out of my price range on a normal day. I was beginning renovations on my moms old house, preparing to rent, when i found a 40% off sale at SW. Yay! I rushed down on the last day of the sale with paint chips from other paint stores. I went to the chip wall and only fumbled around for a couple or three minutes before a handsome young man came over to help. He took my foreign chips and matched my colors in just a few minutes. I was out in less than 30 minutes with my mixed paints - 4 gallons - and 2 gallons of white trim paint, and a receipt equal or less than it would have cost at my local hardware store. The paint is wonderful. I managed one coat coverage in one room, with only minor touchups. The trim paint covers well, despite being white. The other room I painted is a small bathroom, with no room for big paint rollers and trays, and lots of awkward spaces, like behind the toilet or betwen wall and cabinet, so I brush painted it. I arbitrarily used two coats, there, since the light was bad both times. The colors are pretty much what I expected, once applied and dried, so I am - overall - quite happy with the purchase. The handsome young sales guy told me they routinely have those 30 to 40% off sales, so I will be keeping am eye on them again when I start painting the next room in my own house. I would give them that fifth star if I could get those prices all the time, but... I will use them again, even so. They have excellent product. Oh... I still buy all the peripheral stuff, like draping plastic, tape, brushes, rollers, caulk... You get the idea... I buy all that stuff at Walmart or Ace, because SW obviously caters only to contractors on that stuff. At least they seem to at the Saraland store.

Answer all questions and make sure you have everything you need.
