My experience doesn’t even warrant a star Picked up my sons framed university degree I paid over 450.00 $$ for it to be frameda week and a half later the document starts moving and shifting inside the glass frame it is beyond ridiculous….the embarrassment I experienced in front of my family thinking I was surprising them with a beautifully framed degree it was paralyzing .. yes It will be returned to the shop first day Monday morning for repair but my confidence in the framing department is very much in question … I’m at a loss for words it’s shocking I’ve had many things professionally framed and this is truly a first … so troubling

This is THE art store. Their prices are so affordable and their products are QUALITY. There is a wonderful selection of tools and supplies. After going here once, I go back to this place every time. They even have a rewards system where you gain 1 point per dollar you spend towards $10 off at 200 points- thats 5% cash back! Extremely unprofessional. witnessed them screaming at an employee and accusing them of outlandish acts for no reason. take your employees to a back room to have a discussion, don’t randomly call them snakes in front of customers just because you’re an overly suspicious person. i used to think better of this place.

Great place, a lot of fantastic supplies with excellent staff. I know my wife who is the artist always finds what she needs there.

The best art store in Florida. It has such a unique layout and the best customer service. They have products that Ive never seen before at other art stores. They support their local artist community by holding events and classes. I visit regularly and am never disappointed.

Love this place! It is WAY bigger than it looks from the outside; the layout is easy to navigate, with relating items next to each other. They have a massive selection, and the staff is always very friendly and helpful! You can even order on their website and select Pick up in store (and, as long as the item is currently in stock, your order is almost always ready to pick up that very same day). I cant say enough great things about this place! :)

Art and Frames from Sarasota is a store that has of a Dying Breed. Stores that offer picture framing services have long been gone but this one has withstood the test of time. offering friendly service and great quality products this store is unique in offering a great service at a great price.

Selection was considerably more limited than expected, given the reviews. Store is ni ely laid out, easy parking. Staff wasnt particularly friendly or helpful. Wouldnt go out of my way to go back.

My favorite art supply store in Florida! I literally drive over an hour to go here. Worth it!Everything is very organized, easy to find. They carry some of the best brands of fine arts and supplies. Huge selection of Faber Castel. I always find something unique I didnt know I needed!

This place is the best art supplies store anyone could ask for. Its much larger than it looks from the outside, and has everything from COPIC markers, to giant sheets of beautiful craft paper, to hand-mixed blocks of clay for ceramics, reasonably priced desks and easels, and more. The staff are also very knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to talk to. Ive never had a bad experience here.Art & Frame is truly one of Sarasotas hidden gems, and Id recommend it to anyone.

Robert truly supports the artists. He puts on shows, classes, demos, and fills the store with terrific quality and variety of art supplies....plus after you finish, Art & Frame will frame it for you. His prices beat or meet the on line stores so why wouldnt you support your neighborhood art store?Please do. If I run out of Brilliant Yellow Light by Richeson, my Magenta by M. Graham, and my Violet Grey by Holbein, I cant get those at Michaels or Hobby Lobby....I HAVE to have an Art & Frame so please support them!

They have any art supplies you need and even though it is a private owned business the prices are very competitive.

Soooo much better than Michaels for art supplies. Great quality art materials at the same price youd pay online but you have the ability to see the paint colors in person and see brushes and see the paper. I shop here every time Im in Sarasota, wish they were in my small town. Knowledgeable staff who are usually artists themselves so they make very good recommendations.

My 94 year old Daddy has started to build model airplanes again like the ones he built as a child. Art & Frame of Sarasota staff members have been very informative & very kind when helping him find the correct supplies for his projects. Very surprised from the modest exterior to find one of the most extensive and complete art supply stores Ive ever visited. Prices are comparable to on line retailers. Great selection of Escoda brushes, not widely sold in this country.

This is by far the best art store I know of, they have everything I need, (unlike big chain art and craft stores like Hobby Lobby). Unfortunately I live in Ohio so whenever I take a trip to Sarasota, this store is right on my mind.
