I came here to get a standard oil change for my 2014 Prius and couldn’t be happier. I was utterly bewildered to find the extremely charming, toned, sigma male and based stallion named “Ray” powerfully, but gently performing the rotating assembly lubrication procedure at proper terminal velocity on my vehicle. Ray even used his limited edition, digitized, hydro dynamic, “K-mart brand” torque application device to ensure the proper Newton’s of Somatic cellular differential obsequious force were applied. Not many Florida technicians know such a lost art, but Ray does.Regardless, Ray was considerate and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. He provided a complimentary battery check and corrosion cleaning and even gave me a movie recommendation starring his favorite actress, Ava Adams. I will be returning to this establishment as long as Ray remains employed here. Excellent job, Pit Stop in Sarasota, FL and don’t forget to have a great day! 👍🏻

Really good people working in this location, they genuinely wanna help or do the best they can to help, the employee trying to help me today made a few phone calls to see if he could help and gave me a really good price on the job he performed also I seriously thought something else was wrong with my van but after they inspected the vehicle it was all little maintenance

I had my van towed there thinking they would be fair and reasonable. That was a mistake, - they quoted me $1300 for a new alternator and battery. If you look up average cost for these repairs, $500-$800 is the average cost ( I drive a Honda Odyssey - not a premium car). I told them no & found a mechanic who will do those things for $600. Yet, to get my car back I had to pay a $150 diagnostic fee - even though I said it was the alternator,as that is also what the AAA guy said - for free (with AAA membership). So, I paid the $150 diagnostic fee, and had it towed (out of pocket, AAA does not do multiple tows for same breakdown) to the new shop, and when the new shop did their diagnostic, it turns out I didnt even need a new battery! Stay away from pit stop if you dont want to be ripped off.

Kudos to Pit Stop on Bee Ridge. After diagnostic testing it was revealed I needed a new a/c compressor - one was ordered and I set up appointment- when technician, R. Mackinlay started to do job, he soon realized I only needed to recharge the system saving me almost $900! They certainly could have gone ahead and replaced the compressor and I would have been none the wiser - what honest folks they are - thank you Mr Mackinlay and Deandre -

I came in on Memorial Day with a coupon for an oil change. Despite their busy schedule on this holiday, they were able to have me in and out in no time at a great price. They identified an unrelated issue with my car (serpentine belt was worn) and were able to fix that quickly and at a reasonable price as well. DeAndre at the desk and Juan in the garage were extremely helpful and attentive.

Not very happy with the service here, I swear there’s something fishy going on at this place, I went to this place to get a headlight connector replaced on my ram so my headlight can work, but the service wasn’t even done, I specifically told them what was wrong details an all, all they did was replace a bulb if you replaced the bulb then you would have seen that the connector does not connect an click, if you’re not going to do the work at least tell me so I can go elsewhere

I took my 2019 Cadillac XT4 to the new location on Kings Hwy. in Port Charlotte. I needed to have them brake down my tires and wheels so that I could have some special work done on my wheels. The SUV would have to stay on the lift until the next day when my wheels would be ready to reinstall. Gil, the service manager, and his entire staff were terrific. After my wheels were returned they mounted and balanced them again for me. I am more than pleased with the entire two day visit and the price was very affordable also. I will go back for other services in the future.

Went in for a oil change and tire rotation. marked the sidewalls of each tire before I brought the car in. The tire rotation was never done as each tire was in the same position when I got back home and checked. Invoice said tire rotation had been performed when it hadnt. Wrote them a email to complain, manager called and offered a free oil change, did not even offer to have bring me the car in and have the tire rotation done right away. First and last time I will be using Pitstop Auto

I went for JUST an oil change and I was told my belt is rotting dry and cracked and I need a new one, my windshield wipers were streaking I needed new front brakes and also something else... now I did need new front brakes but when I looked at my belt it was perfectly fine, also my windshield wipers were not streaking before I went in there and a few times I was in the highway in heavy rain, now all of a sudden it’s streaking so bad I can barely see out it. I will never bring my car here for anything ever again. They tried to force me to apply for a loan to pay for these things he said I needed done when I did not need it done. Unprofessional I understand your job is to sell stuff but not in a cheap lying manner!

Recently had tires replaced. Performed job for the quoted price over the phone. Worked on car at the agreed time and finished on time as promised. Also had a few flat tires repaired at this location. Reasonable price and convenient.

I have a lot of service done at Pit Stop. This week I had a nail in my tire and they squeezed me in the same day to have it changed because I did not want to use the donut that the Chevy dealer gave me with the car. I also ordered a spare tire and they saved me about $200.00 dollars from another quote and had it early the next morning. They are always friendly, courteous and helpful Thank you Derek and Desire.

Very nice place. Owner was very friendly and asked simple questions about what I needed done to point me in the right way. Free Wi-Fi although I couldnt get my phone to connect to it, free coffee, clean floors and a nice waterfountain with water bottle filler.Its easy to wait in the shop while your car is getting worked on. If you dont want to sit and wait you can always leave, theyll call you when your ride is ready to pick up.The service is great too. I went in there for an oil change and they spotted a nail in one of my tires. Got that fixed. They also rotated my tires and checked my breaks for free. I got much more than I expected.

Multiple shops turned down an acquaintance and I who both drove 2 hours from seperate directions to swap wheels on our Corvettes. Pit Stop took us in and accomplished what we needed in no time! If I lived in the area I would recommend to anyone!

I have gone to Pit Stop at McIntosh for several years, today they managed to work us in, did a complete brake and rotor replacement, oil change, and 2 new tires, and even gave a discount for the work since we are loyal customers,. Always satisfied with them, and would never go anywhere else. Call and ask Mike for any auto repair needs, if they have a coupon out he will let you know. He will also let you know if the work needs to be done immediately, or what you could postpone if needed

My story is not as positive as other reviews here.. Initially the stuff was friendly, and polite. They didnt wear masks and that made me feel uncomfortable, because of COVID situation. I took the car for balance and rotation and i was told that it will take 30-45 minutes. After that time i look around for my car and couldnt locate it on the parking lot neither in the garage. I asked the stuff where it is and they told me that somebody is driving it on highway, to make sure the problem is fixed. I thought they have tools for balancing the wheels... Other than privacy and insurance conserns, and with this Covid situation i had to desinfect my car and dispose 3 n95 masks i had in my car, which are not easy to find.. I never heard about this practice to drive the car without owner (verbal) consent or giving the option to be present while driving the vehicle.Update: got the chance to drive the car on high way and the vibration problem seems fixed. Updated the rating to 4 stars.

What a refreshing change from other facilities like this! My first and only experience so far with this company was just this week and I was very pleased with how amazingly friendly and helpful the staff was. I purchased 5 new tires for my horse trailer and had the bearings greased. They checked everything out and did a great job! The prices were very reasonable and I feel very confident in the work they performed. I will be using them for future work and will be sending my friends and family there as well. Honestly the most compassionate business establishment ive ever heard of or been involved with. Words are utterly meaningless. This company has incurred more expenses on my behalf than i can even pay back with monetary compensation.

The entire staff was really kind and friendly. The job was done very quickly.

Needed front brakes replaced quickly. Complete brake job rotors calipers and pads. Didnt try to oversell. Only replaced what I wanted them to replace. Did not give me a hard time about putting more money into it than was absolutely necessary. Did all this at a much lower price than a major competitor in the area. Mike and Desiree were top-notch, upfront, and honest. I will be a repeat customer.

1st time here.. Excellent service and very honest!! I had stopped in last night just before close and your staff welcomed me unlike the place I stopped along the way that just glanced at my tire and said it was fine and that they closed in an hour and a half. With little time I went down the road to the Pit Stop. Although I knew and would never expect them to perform any service a few minutes before close, they made sure it was safe to drive home and marked the spot of the tiny nail. This morning I returned and the owner Joe was very friendly and welcoming. He had me in and out before work. I will definitely return for all of my tire needs and would strongly recommend this place!

Did a great job on price and service for my 2003 Ford Explorer XLT V8 to get an oil change synthetic blend, with coupon, for $17.99 + tax. That is a bargain. At these prices I do not see a need to continue to do oil changes my self. Due to not only the cost, but the friendly staff at this location, I will 100% be returning here for oil changes and alignments. I am glad to finally have find a trust worthy mechanic.

1st time experience for oil change and rotate. vehicle was pulled in right away. i felt the service took a tad long considering the vehicle is under 10,000 miles. upon inspection i found my washer fluid was not topped off and my coolant level was on the low mark in the reservoir indicating it was not filled as well. oil level was at the correct amount. The lady at the front desk was very knowledgeable and seemed very confident. overall my experience was pretty normal and will most likely go again

In fact, I was so flustered that I didnt even think about the possibility of patching my tire, if possible. Desiree brought that option up to me, which I thought was extremely honest and showed a lot of integrity, which made me feel confident that I wasnt going to price gouged, and I also wouldnt be told that I needed unnecessary work,which unfortunately is a sad truth that females, especially, in this type of situation, have to look out for. There was a large gouge in my tire, which meant that my tire needed to be replaced. Desiree recommend a comparable tire to my other tires, and to my surprise, the cost was extremely reasonable. Worked on replacing my tire, which he even went out of his way to rotate l and filled all of my tires with air, which was done purely out of the pride that he obviously has for the work that he does. By the time I left, which wasnt any longer than 30 mins or so, my attitude was so much better!
