The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They did a great job changing our oil. I came with a coupon for $10 off an oil change, but the oil change price base price then raised $5 oddly enough. I should have re-affirmed the original oil change price I got on the phone call with them before showing them the coupon when I arrived in person. Learn from my mistake and get the price first before showing them the coupon.While doing the service, they noticed a couple other things I needed to get fixed on the car that I did not know about. I was very appreciative of that.

We have been using this company for years. We used them a few weeks ago. And this by far has been the worst experience with them. We had legit NOTICABLE problems with the car and they called me to say there was nothing wrong. I suggested they drive it on the interstate or do another run. They then called back to tell me that all the lights came on and there was a huge problem. They said they were having difficulty finding the part that was needed and never called me back. We also we have caps/lids missing from under the hood and now the hood does not stay up on our car. The staff, the management, and the integrity have changed. Not sure well go back to this location.

I have taken my car there several times and was told that I had to use synthetic oil or my warranty would be void. I just learned that this is a Lie. They were lying to me in order to sell me the more expensive oil. I go to a shop because I trust what they tell me. Well, obviously I wont be going here anymore. They just gave my husband a quote for an oil change and air filter of well over a hundred and ten dollars. He bought his own filter and went for the oil change someplace else. It was less than 50.00 for everything. Stay away from these lying people! Take your car to someone you can trust. This is not the place!

The manager Jeff and all the guys at this Midas location are kind and professional. They take great care of me and never over charge or sell me things I don’t need. They are and always will be my go to auto maintenance location!

I definitely recommend using these guys. They are honest and the costumer service is excellent.I blew out a $300 tire and brought it to them on my 30 minute lunch break to see if it could be patched… Not only were they honest about the ability to patch it instead of having replacing it, they patched the tire and put it back on my vehicle right then so I didn’t have to come back later to pick my car up.

The staff was professional. I was not happy to see that I needed to sign a statement charging me $30 for the brake inspection when the website says it is free. Feels like a bait and switch. MIdas needs to inform their workers about their promotions and workers need to read their company website so they do not mislead the public. Glad to have new brakes and I appreciate their expertise in the area.

I went in to get my oil changed and they rotated all the tires. They also noticed a crack in my brake pad and they showed it to me so I could see the crack. They fixed it for a reasonable price. They also ended up fixing my air conditioning system which was not always blowing cold. They were very nice, knowledgeable, gave me a good price, and didnt try to bamboozle me and sell me things I dont need. I will be going back and recommend this place of business.

I just want to point out Shawn Oakss excellent customer service from my car appointment on this past Friday. He was friendly and courteous and he had even went above and beyond to call me ahead of time to let me know the parts he had ordered for me had made it in and were ready for me. My car was finished in a very short amount of time and they gave me a great deal.

I highly recommend this store. I first used the online option for an estimate which I promptly received back. I then made an appt. and took the car in. Jeff was the employee manning the front desk, great guy, very knowledgeable. My work was done on time. The work was great, and the price was fair. I had several family cars/truck serviced by Midas over the last month or so.Spent a couple thousand +/- with them in July.I found the people at the counter to be very courteous and helpful thus we kept returning.My grandsons truck had a computer issue.They charged me a little over $300 to fix it.Its not fixed and we took the truck elsewhere.My grandson had a set of earphones in the truck that were not there when he picked the truck up.The folks at the counter insist that no one knew anything about the headphones.They were in the truck when we left the truck there and were not in the truck when my grandson picked the truck up a day or so later.The computer issue is not fixed but Ill walk away from the $300+ and chalk it up to a bad experience.I feel bad about it all because I think the people at the counter are telling me what they feel is the truth however the headphones were taken while the truck was in their shop.We wont be back .I repeat that Im certain the people at the counter are telling me what they think is the truth however we think that someone in the service area took the headphones thus Im not going back not even for them to fix the computer that I paid them to fix in July.

I bent my exhaust hangers and my exhaust was rattling. I took the car into Midas where Shawn and Lance immediately took my car up onto the lift and was able to fix it quickly. Amazing service. Definitely recommend 5 star service.

So the experience I had at this shop was about a year or 2 years ago and Ive never forgotten it! I went to this shop at my girlfriends recommendation, for an oil change and tire rotation. They charged me $60-$70 for not even a fully synthetic oil change. I get labor and overhead of running a business, but once my car was up in the air, the front desk associate told me that there was no transmission fluid in my car. me being anxious i said fix it, and they said they needed to flush my transmission. Then said I had a right tie rod that was bad, and also my tag light needed remounted. I then received a quote of about $800. as I drive a 99 Toyota with under 90k Miles, I declined and left.It all would have been normal up-selling but I noticed that after I left the shop, my car now pulls to the right, where that never happened before. I found out my tag light was just unclipped, and was able to fix it myself in minutes.watch out for these scammers.to add insult to injury, the guy at the front desk was asking do you know how much an oil change is for a lamborghini?! while I was in the waiting room... trying to make me feel like Im getting a deal- mind you this was around tax refund time.I will never go back and Ill make sure anyone I know doesnt go to this place ever! They dont care about their customers at all, all they want is your money!

Excellent customer service! Everyone in the store is very courteous and accommodating. I can say from experience that their mechanics are very knowledgable. I have a tree service company and they have been able to service just about every piece of heavy equipment we have. They also offer hot, fresh coffee and tea while you wait or, with a reservation, can offer you a loaner car which is great. Highly recommend!

Only 1 Star because I cant give negative stars.On November 16th, 2019, I had my 2007 Dodge Durango repaired by Midas of Sarasota who knowingly replaced a sway bar end link with an incorrect part that was not designed to fitmy vehicle. The factory sway bar is designed with arounded lower portion to be able to clear the lower shock bolt on the front suspension at full lock. The component they installed was very clearly very squared off and was clearly not intended for my specific drive-train and not the correct part. By installing this faulty part, itcaused the sway bar end link to grind and scrape against my lower shock bolt, which led to damage to the bolt andeventually could have led to larger issues. This information was provided to me by my Sunset Dodge service advisor after I hadthem preform an inspection as I was about to transfer ownership of the vehicle to my stepdad. I became aware of the clunking noise of the incorrect sway bar end link shortly after taking delivery of the vehicle but thought nothing of it and drew it up to the fact the vehicle is 13-14 yrs old. Once I discovered this information I spoke to Shaun at Midas and requested a 300-dollar refund sothat Sunset Dodge could replace and install the correct sway bar end link. Shaun claimed that the repair was done out of good faith and that there was nothing I can do even if I wanted too and became very agitated and hostile as the conversation drew on. Despite the fact I wascharged 778 dollars for labor for the single sway bar end link, and for lower control arms that were installed but did not need to be, claiming they were a warranty item but I needed to be charged for labor. I had suspension work done previously by them and agreed and had thought those were the parts they replaced. However, they were not actually the parts that were replaced and should not havebeen a warranty item and did not need to be replaced, let alone charged for labor for. I then took the vehicle to Sunset dodge to get the sway bar end links replaced with the correct ones as I still needed to transfer the vehicle ownership to my stepdad and wanted to make sure the vehicle was in safe, operable condition. Once I receiveddelivery of the vehicle from Sunset Dodge, My service advisor informed me that when Midas had completed the alignment after installing only the one sway bar link, which is especially strange considering both were worn and needed to be replaced, that Midas had neglected to torque the upper control arm bolts, and that they were in fact, onlyhand tight, which could have led to a catastrophicsuspension failure and subsequent collision with thepotential for great bodily injury. Additionally, on my stepdads Dodge Ram, they attempted to fix a coolant leak with zip ties as we found out shortly afterward. Complete scam, they should be ashamed of themselves for trying to run a fraudulent business and scam customers out of their hard earned money.

The service you will receive at the Midas located on Clark Road is top notch. The facility is clean and they use some of the most up to date equipment to work on your vehicles. I trust Midas to work on my car cause I know the work will be done right at a fair price!

These guys squeezed us in and took care of a major brake problem quickly so I could get back on the road. They did a great job fixing broken stuff, and 6 weeks later things are still working well. This is not a discount shop, however, although we decided it was worth it to meet our timeline.

I have taken my wifes car here several times and they always get me in promptly, and communicate what is wrong, and what needs to be done. They tell me the things I should be aware of without being pushy. Highly recommend them. Im going to start taking my fleet vehicles here for service now.On top of all that, they have good coffee in the waiting room :)

Ive had my Audi serviced here several times and I can say they always go above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. They always follow up so I have opportunity to discuss the service they provided which is something that is a rarity these days. The owner is genuinely concerned about each customer and it shows!!

Great experience. I needed something done late in the day, and I was accommodated graciously. The owner is knowledgeable about car repairs/maintenance and runs a tight ship. I observed a good working relationship with his staff, and that transferred to a job well done for me. Shop and lobby are both very clean, and my car was free of any grease when they were finished. The only thing I could point out that is on the negative side is that some of the service prices change when a flush is involved. An advertised $90 coolant change turned to $120 on paper. When I asked why, I was told that the flush isnt priced out on the menu, just a drain and fill. Also, watch the shop supply fees, as those can get expensive too. That being said, my bill was still a great value, because I bought three fluid changes, so they gave me the third one completely free. Overall, Im happy I found this place and would definitely recommend.

There is a reason why people have feelings of apprehension and distrust when dealing with some mechanics: this place is that reason. Owner is very unprofessional/rude. I left with problems I didnt have when going in and was treated very disrespectfully. Avoid this place.

I went in for a routine break service, and was initially quoted $250. An hour later, I was told it was going to be $550 for ONLY my front breaks. He told me I needed new pads (which was expected) and a new rotor. He also told me that one of the parts had completely seized and they werent able to do anything with it other than throw it away. Naturally, I needed a whole new one. I left for a second opinion because I could not justify spending $550 for half my brakes. Brought it to a friend who works on cars for a living, and he did everything for $160. All of the work was done in about an hour. The part that seized was completely fine and totally usable. I have never felt so cheated and taken advantage of. I will never bring my car back here.

The team at Midas continually goes above and beyond to take care of my wife and I. With our hectic schedules, the team was able to pick up my vehicle from work, leave me with a loaner car (that was clean AND reliable), do a complete new tire care package, inspection, alignment and took the time to explain to me everything (that was able to predict) ahead of time! I come from a very mechanically inclined family and even they were impressed with the quality of service and the price from this Midas location! Highly recommended!

Nice guy. Didnt listen to me when I asked him not to swap the tires. But the Mechanics did not reconnect the tubes to the air filter box even after I told them not to forget. Those tubes are for the brakes.. negligent. I hope they fixed the box back correctly, and I will have the ok level checked, seemed low

Everytime the wait was pleasant with check ins throughout the whole process, a thorough explanation of repairs and needs AND a follow up phone call! We were very impressed and will be back soon for our oil changes!

Recently I had a flat tire. Midas was able to take my car in that morning and offered me 2 new tires plus an alignment. All this happened in a timely manner. The shop was clean and the staff is very professional.

Brought my vehicle in due to a vibration at speed and because I like Steve (the owner). They said it must be the tires because everything else looks good, and to take it back to where I had them put on (theyre somewhat new). Took the vehicle back to where I purchased the tires, they checked everything else out and did a balance for free. It did not resolve the issue. Took it back to Midas. I barely sat down before the manager (not Steve) came in the office and I guess assumed that I was only there to waste the mechanics time and didnt get it checked out by the tire shop per their recommendation. His attitude was very apparent. I just wanted my vehicle fixed. I explained that I did as he instructed and he brushed it off and I gave him my keys. After a different tech from the first diagnosis drove it, they indeed said there is vibration coming from somewhere other than the tires. The manager then decided that it must be something with the lift you put on it, take it back to them. Really? Ive had the lift on for over a year, checked it myself and had other mechanics check the lift and its fine. Its just larger springs and shocks. None of the peripherals were damaged either. I am usually a loyal customer to this particular Midas due to the courtesy theyve extended over the years, but with this last experience, they obviously dont want/need my business, and have no problem expressing it discourteously.

Great experience. I was quoted a price on an a/c repair that was over a thousand dollars cheaper than another shop quoted me. Ive had my car in to Midas several times and was very satisfied every time.

I needed some maintenance done on my Chevy Silverado truck and brought it to the Midas, I was allowed to have a loner and continue with my work for the day. When I went to pick up my truck. The cost was what they said it would be and the staff were friendly and very helpful. I have found where my truck will be taken care of from now on. Thanks to the staff.

This shop went the extra mile for me to get me back on the road, they stayed late to repair my car before a long trip and explained everything they were doing, this was more important to me than saving $5.01 on a oil change.Had several oil changes done there, sure I could have saved a couple of bucks going down the road but was more interested in a quality job and not as expensive as others.

I had word done on my 2003 Hyundai Elantra and I was pleasantly surprised at how fast they fixed my issue. Waited in a crowded waiting room, I was a newbie surrounded by others who were having more work then my car needed. I needed a flex pipe welded to the exhaust. Went without a hitch. Very professional crew. I was very happy.

I used Midas for the first time about a week ago because I received a coupon for an oil change plus tire rotation for less then I usually pay for just an oil change. They were very polite and seemed knowledgable when explaining while showing me how low my brake pads are, and were honest enough to tell me I didnt need them that day, I could go a few more months before changing them. I didnt feel any high pressure sales, just honesty. They actually did a small freebie for me as they knew I was on a tight budget!

Hate is a strong word, but deeply disappointed is very accurate. My family has been bringing our 3 cars to this location for over 5 years. We have spent thousands and thousands of dollars here. The past two years Ive been told multiple times I need things fixed that they already fixed but they want me to pay them to do it again and take time out of my schedule for them to fix what they broke. Other times my new mechanic told me they were making stuff up that wasnt broken while my vehicles were in there for a different repair. You cannot trust this establishment.

My family has been coming here for years. They are honest and good people. Cant count the number of times I had to take my car to the dealership in town because it was under warranty for the dealership to tell me i needed x done and it would cost $$$$; then for me to come get a second opinion here, and they either said x didnt need to be done and the fix is much less. For example, latest is a flat tire and dealership said it would cost almost $300 because a blade found and tire couldnt be fixed. Then I get second opinion here, they pull the blade and tell me they can patch it safely and it cost a fraction of what dealership proposed. Cant thank this Midas location, and Ted and his team for their honesty and help. Always coming here when we can. They have had and will continue to have our familys business.

For my cars first ever brake pad change they quoted that I had to replace, not turn, replace all 4 of my rotors. Mind you 30k miles on the car and there was still meat on all the pads. Took it to another mechanic replaced front pads and got another 6 months on the back pads, DID NOT need to replace the rotors. So watch out they are there to bleed you dry and take advantage of those who are are completely car ignorant. This was about a year ago, the new commercials reminded me of my awful experience and to pass on my experience.

Recently took my Tahoe in for service due to check engine light sensor. Ted and Anthony found the issued with the sensor and made the necessary repairs on time and as promised. Another intermittent problem was noticed but did not require repair. Needles to say a week later that sensor went out. I called Anthony to scheduled the repair. A loaner car was waiting, dropped off the car, went to my appointments, picked up my Tahoe later that afternoon as promised. Great Experience!!

I would give the. No stars if I could. My wife had financing set up through snap finance. She asked the manager who was very rude to checknit before they put the tires on her car. He said they will do it at the end. Well at the end we find out the finance offer expired 2 weeks ago and now we had to pay $400 for 3 tires. We had the cash thank god but if we had not they would have kept her car.

Just got some new tires. I was very please with the custmer service and timelyness of turnaround.

Always been trustworthy and honest with me.My first visit, as I waited the manager (Tim) I believe was explaining a ladies service she had done. As he went step by step over her paper work, I was stopped dead in my tracks when he mentioned a filter he didnt like the look of...He explained, some interior filter looked dirtier then it should and their records showed they had changed it (or should have changed it) at her last service. He explained, this is an internal air filter and a lot of cars do not have them, and due to the chance it could have been overlooked, they put in a new filter at no charge.Now, if there was a mistake, no one would have known, so they could have not mentioned it. If it wasnt a mistake they could have charged her extra. It really felt like an extra mile moment.That was about 2 years ago, and only had positive experiences with them since.

One of the tires I purchased went flat almost immediately. They bend the rim and tried to make my wife pay more to fix all of it. They dropped the price once she told them a man was going to get involved. This is what you get at discount tire shops.

I called them they could care less this place oil change went from 19.95 to 44.95 the part was 49 bucks on line they charged 140 this place is a joke that cost me STAY AWAY, go to a dealer
