I love this tires plus they have been working on both my cars for 10+ years. Cory and the team have done and continue doing a great job. I have been in many pickles and they have greatly worked with me and done a very professional job. I still continue going to them and have referred many people to go for great service.

CROOKS IN DISGUISEBE CAREFUL WITH THOSE GUYS. THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF RETIERIES, PEOPLE WHO DONT KNOEW MUCH ABOUT CARS AND PEOPLE WHO TRUST OTHERS.Couple of weeks ago I arrived to the location on University Parkway with an air leak in my rear tire. I arrived at 7:30AM so I was 3rd in line. After they checked my tire, Corry, at the front desk told me that I have a nail in the wall of the tire and it can not be fixed but needs to be replaced. Thetotal cost out the door he said, will be $192.They did not have the exact tire and told me they will order the tire and call me but at the same conversation I told them that I will have to check with my car dealer since I bought a full warranty coverage that will probably cover tire damage. Corry did not like that and HE KNEW WHY. I never got a phone call and the reason is because Corry knows that the warranty company askes questions and needs evidence /photos of the damage.I went to a small tire shop on Washington Blvd. and they told me and showed me (see photos attached) that the nail is not at all on the wall of the tire. The repair was $15 and the tire is perfect.DONT BE FOOLED BY THE FRIENDLY ATTITUDE AND SMILES.

These gentlemen in the office were just so sweet. They really treated me like an intelligent lady. When I told them my assessment after going under the car myself they listened. They checked for the appropriate parts and assured me they would fix it below cost. The nice young guy with the beard even walked me out. Wow, just wow. I am so glad I moved to Florida where people aren’t out for a quick buck or to take advantage of a woman at a shop with a low quote until they “get under the hood”. How refreshing. Hey you shops out to pray on women’s ignorance of cars, take note. These gentlemen really know how to handle themselves. They treat all their customers-with the utmost respect. I am sure they would never rip off the elderly either!! I left with a feeling of hope for humanity! Thank for reminding me that good people are out there and karma has a place in this world. Wow just wow do not come here. I trusted this place for years until they basically scammed me. I went in to get my brakes done since it was time. Had my CRV since 2015 and the brakes where finally worn down. I was told the price and questioned why it was high. I was told they where putting in high quality brakes which I’m moving up North so I bought in. After picking up the car I noticed the brakes weren’t any better. I took it back and all they did was clean them and assure they where high quality good breaks. That they where working perfectly which is a bunch of lies. Took it to a different place Reese auto shop and was told they gave me the cheapest brakes and basically scammed me. These brakes were not going to be working right so they are so cheap and horrible quality. These brakes where not the high quality ones I was told but the cheapest stuff you can get. I payed a lot of money for nothing. Very disappointed and well be telling everyone I have recommended here to go else where. What a awful place.

Me and my family have been to this particular location for most of our car troubles & they always do an awesome job. My car was dying on me every week and pulling left and it shook so bad that I thought that the wheels were gonna pop off of her. There was nothing smooth about that car the past few months. She’s a 2007 Mercedes who was in dire need of a new alternator & had serious alignment issues. They fixed her right up & now she’s driving like a beaut. Stellar job as always. 10/10 recommend.

Nice clean location very professional decent service prices on line compared to in shop are higher. Had four new tires put on on the way out one tire was punctured by a nail had to go back so they could patch it hopefully they will replace that tire

Awful place. The young man at the front office has the nastiest condescending attitude towards you for asking questions over what you are paying for. He patronized me saying things like you have to pay tax when I asked how my total reached a certain amount when I was just asking and itemized list to see how it reached there. If you’re not just saying yes to their price you’re not treated friendly, your treated like we don’t need your business vibes which really sucks when you’re looking for a reliable place to trust.

Guy up front had a bad attitude. I asked if my fluids would be topped off with an oil change. He said yes (I already knew it did) got my car back and no fluids top off. If they can not even fill the window washer fluid whos to say they did anything anything at all.

Great shop! Had me in and out way faster than I expected and they were very friendly.

Not once, but twice I left my car on a Saturday for maintenance, never received a call to pick up the car. Both times I go to see if they are finished and they closed the store early. Now Im without a car for the weekend AGAIN.

Called to get prices for some work and the employee who answered the phone was so rude. I asked for price on tires he said what size; i didnt know and he says well i cant look them up if you dont know the size.(very rudely) Im sorry? Cant you ask the make and model of my car and hes like i guess. He was lazy didnt want to even TRY to help me. Then when I did get a price and asked for other brand tires hes like well we would have to order those! And?? Im sorry you had to actually do your job. I took my $1000 of tires and work to the other Tires plus that was helpful and happy help!

I love tires plus on university the guys are great never had any bad experience only good experience. They are all pleasant and friendly. They do a great job and there honest they tell you if you need something done. Go guys keep up the good work.

Directional tread tire installed BACKWARDS! They were not willing to correct the error the same day. The tires/wheels were also not balanced properly, I had to take it to another shop for the work to be corrected. Tire bead sealer was left on the rim surface, was very hard to remove. Looks like they dropped one rim face down and damaged it. I filed a chargeback and received a full refund.

Poor management. Take you car somewhere else!

Tires plus was amazing I’ve been to several other places for tires and I was blown away at the reasonable prices and the most important factor for me which is speed. I was in and out so I can get back to work. The staff was up beat and the guys in the shop moved like they had a purpose not like the slugs at tire kingdom. Also had weird engine noises and was impressed they were full service definitely coming back hear and will be singing there praises.

Great service! Had a last minute nail in my tire Christmas Eve and travel plans for the day after Christmas. Even though they had no appointments available they were able to get me right in the morning after Christmas and even did a quick balance and rotate. They were kind and professional and didnt try to pressure me into any other services. We will be back for sure. 👍

Everything was mostly good at this location for more than 4 years. A few months ago I went because of a low oil notice on my dashboard, and they decided it needed extras like front arm bushings replacements and an alignment for $990. I never did anything like that and trusting their reputation I accepted. To my surprise, after a few days the right front wheel was coming out of alignment with a clunky noise. After going back to them they checked the issue and wanted to charge me almost $1800 to change cv axles, two tires and some other unnecessary things that WERE WORKING PROPERLY. After all this, another more reputable mechanic charged me $100 to fix the loose front powertrain that TIRES PLUS proudly left as an excuse to charge me more money. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS.

I was very satisfied with my experience getting 2 tires from them. They were pretty busy on a rainy Saturday and seemingly popular., which is good. Everyone was friendly and they didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need.

I always go to this Tires Plus before I go somewhere else. They are very helpful and are not just after your money. Ive gone there on a couple of occasions Where the fix was pretty simple and they told me I could fix it myself and showed me how to do it. Pricing is very fair. I never go to the dealer until I have to. This is the place to start!

Cory saves the day every time. And money. He keeps our cars in excellent condition. Is always there with suggestions and assistance. Have been a loyal customer for 14 yrs. Saved me $45 over Hondas quote for a new battery.

The place I was going to before was kind of pricey and I wanted to try someplace different. I had brought my 02 Corolla LE to only tires plus because their prices were fair and I never had any issues, so I decided to bring my 17 SE there. Long story short, my car felt better leaving than when I brought it in. Exactly how it should be. I will be returning.

I hate to leave a one star review on anyone business. This though is not a one time issue, and I literally have nothing good to say about this Tires Plus. The rims on the wall arent even for sale. The customer service is extremely poor, I got the feeling I was being pressured into a $1,700 repair job that I was told in the beginning was $85 for labor! This isnt the first time, on my Avalon I paid $1,840 for a job that was quoted at $1,100. I know everyone has a bad day so I went back and was treated even worse with the $1,700 price quote. For a motor mount and oil change I had to pay $400 when I was told $85 for labor. And then $200 for a mount I was able to find a $35 mount. I was told I was Paying for quality, you get what you pay for Well I find his comment a little ironic being I paid well above top dollar for extremely poor business. To sum everything up: PRICE GOUGING OPERATION!! Beware! They were somewhat nice. I am sorry. Go elsewhere please!

I walked in unannounced this morning with no appointment, and they were able to take care of my engine problem immediately and had me on my way in 20 minutes. This is really amazing! They know me there for many years, but I think anybody would get the same excellent service.

Excellent knowledge of autos! Chris, Tyler and the entire crew of mechanics are able to diagnose any issues on any of the 7 vehicles we have taken to Tires Plus for more than 10 years. They are never too busy to check tire pressure or fill washer fluid when we just stop in. I trust them and will never go anywhere else.

We have relied on the Tires Plus store on University for the last 14 years, and they have never let us down. I go here for my oil changes usually and they do a great job! Corey the manager is a Good Guy! I do miss the the little guy Chris with his big Dog who was sadly let go for some reason. I wouldnt go here for Brake Pads though kind of pricey. They seem pretty good with other things as well.

Weve had years of excellent service from Corey at Tires Plus University, both business and personal. Recently, an elderly relative heard noises from her engine while I was out of town. She knew to go to Corey with what turned out to be a nearly empty radiator. Corey assisted her personally, got her back home again, then when I returned he kept her car for four days trying to find the actual leak. It was assumed to be a water pump, and indeed anyone else likely would have sold her a water pump she didnt need. Corey kept testing her car to recreate the leak, even going in on a Sunday when they were closed, to check on it. In the end, it turned out to be a corroded, leaking radiator cap and a very reasonable, small bill. For Corey to take such care of my relative while I was away is priceless. For him to take such care with her car when I returned is priceless. Definitely five star service, above and beyond as always! Way to go, Corey! Thank you!

My dad went to Corey & his crew for years. He was diagnosed with cancer and prior to his passing he always told me if I ever had any problems with my car to go to this location. I have been going to Tires Plus since the day it has opened.....The staff and quality of service is the best in all of Sarasota and Manatee. I use them for all my cars needs. They are always willing to get my car in for service right away and it is done when promised. I have purchased tires and the staff is great on helping to decide what is best for the car. I have all service needs for my car done here from oil changes to brakes and never had a problem. I have sent all my friends, neighbors and relatives to Tires Plus and all have been very pleased with the service. This is a place I would recommend to everyone.....AWESOME JOB!!!! Ive done business here before and been very satisfied. I got a great price on 4 tires with installation, balance, alignment etc, they did a good job.Yesterday I brought my daughters car in for an alignment, went back to pick it up and they told me that they put it on the alignment rack and the alignment was rite on and didnt charge me anything. Thats great customer service. I will definitely be doing business with them again!

Ive gone here several times for different vehicles. They are very helpful and will work with you to get what you need. They are a AAA certifies repair center. AAA members get a 10% discount on labor and they have a 24 month 24k mile warranty for AAA members.

We found a bolt and washer inside stuck in one tire had to get it fixed Ive dealt with these people decades as usual they found the tire fix it as fast as they could and we are on our way with a smile on her face been there before well go there again

While on vacation in the Sarasota area we hit a pothole which damaged both tires on the drivers side of the car or so we thought. Corey and his crew inspected the vehicle and noticed the wheels had been bent and the tires were fine. They could have attempted to sell us a couple of tires and sent us in our way, but they didn’t. In fact they gave us the contact info for another professional that could repair our wheels. To top it off they didn’t charge us for anything, their time isn’t free and they were extremely busy the day we were there. If I lived in the area I would definitely take my vehicles to their shop for service!!!

The guys at tires plus are wonderful. They understand that taking care of the truck that my daughter drives is of the utmost importance to me. Keeping her safe on the road is as important to them as it is to me. They always treat me fairly with excellent service and pricing. There is no upsale or pressure to do unnecessary upgrades and they are always willing to accommodate the ridiculously hectic schedule of a working single mom with 2 jobs and a teenage girl. These guys are the best. They get you in and out so quick, even though they are busy all day everyday. Prices are great too.

I end up blowing out a tire on the highway which prompted me to get a new one as soon as possible. This location is convenient and right down the street from my house and once I drop the car off they were able to get started on it pretty quickly. I was told they would call me in about an hour once the car was finished but in reality they called me several hours later which is an issue since I know that usually tire shops take a little longer than they tell you. The price was exactly what they said it would be over the phone and they did a phenomenal job and even put my spare tire back in the trunk for me. Its a very good experience and the guys are courteous and professional enough without giving you some sort of fake persona. A real shop that gets the work done for a reasonable enough price.

Prices are right around the same as other establishments that offer similar services. The staff is friendlier and more helpful than most auto repair places Ive been to. However, I rate them 2 stars out of 5 because helpful items were added to my vehicle without my consent. Helpful items are great but only if theyre free. If theyre not free, they need to be put on with my consent. Imagine someone saying Hey, I did x, y, z for you to be nice. I hope youre happy. Oh, and the fee for doing so is right on the invoice. This has happened to other people whove gone there (University/Lockwood Ridge location).
