Went to them for a complete tune up and I was wondering months after why my ca was kinda slow on the acceleration. Went to another place they told me rereplaced my spark plug but not the cords and other stuff was half done

Will never go to another repair shop after finding this place. The owner is friendly, professional and very experienced in all cars. He doesnt try to upsell things that you dont need. I have multple cars that have been worked on for various issues here and there is nothing they havent been able to fix. Their prices are very fair and although it may take time to get an appointment, this shop is worth the wait. They do excellent work at fair prices. There are always a bunch of antiques they are working on, so if you try this place for new or an older car it will be very apparent they are well experienced in all repairs. I cant speak more highly of them only that anyone thinking of repair work should try them. They will not be disappointed.

I highly recommend these guys. Just went there for the 1st time on a recommendation - was in a hurry for a simple issue. They fit me in, fixed it fast and DIDNT rip me off. I will be going back there.I dealt with Chris, the proprietor, and Sharon in the office - both very kind and professional....and the place was clean.I had to sit and wait and the shop cat, Bobby Sue, said hello and hung out to keep me company. Sweet cat.

Not sure what to think here.... had a check engine light come on my wife brought it to jim Taylor after someone recommended them off of a Facebook group. They charged my wife 100 bucks to run a diagnostic (which is nuts to begin with) but she was told that it came on because the gas cap is missing.Two days later the car is overheating and all the antifreeze had leaked out. We bring it back to JT and they charged us $450 to replace the coolant overflow tank. Did some looking online and its a 50 dollar part and the antifreeze runs about 20 bucks. Wish I had done it myself. Anyways just pick it up about an hour ago and didnt make it more than 10 miles and I have a notification that there is an engine malfunction.....Dont have any proof it was the shop, but I have a really hard time believing that these issues are a coincidence. They seem to have happy customers so maybe they are just not good with German cars. Will not be going back.

Really CHEATED me . I bought part at less than half price at auto parts store. Then he charged me $ 260 for 1 hour labor. $120 more than other quotes.

Just when you think all the Good, honest auto repair shops are all gone, I found this one!! The owners are VERY nice, professional, prompt and the mechanics are top notch.. especially Rick, he is the last of a dying breed of mechanics/motorhead. I highly recommend this shop!

After several recommendations, I took my Sienna in for a possible AC issue.They were polite, knowledgeable, and honest.Ive found the new mechanic for my familys vehicles. For me, honestly and trush are the of the utmost importance when dealing with a mechanic. I cant recommended Jim Taylor auto enough!

Amazing...they are my new go to automotive repair shop. Price was very reasonable and they went over and above to fix my car. I thought I had a front end issue...and another shop quoted me $1000 to fix it. I asked Chris to check the front end and give me a quote. It turns out that my front bumper was loose... and was rattling when I would go over bumps...causing the front end noise. He fixed it for no charge! That is class!!! Thank you to Chris and the entire staff at Jim Taylor for a first class experience! Easily a 5 star rating!!!

I must say, our first visit with this automotive group was outstanding. Our Mustang died in traffic because of alternator failure. Had car towed to Jim Taylor automotive because of reputation, level of technician support. After diagnosis, alternator replaced in very timely fashion at very good price. Very polite people, nice clean organized shop. THANKS JIM TAYLOR AUTOMOTIVE, WE WILL BE BACK!

Couldnt get my key faub out of my Prius 2 guys came out told me it was 105. An hour and i had serious electracal issues. At the same time he said that my friend in the car saw the guy elbow the other guy. She said lets go! Went to peterson toyota and the car was not shut off so the key wouldnt pull out. The guy at petterson toyota shut the car off and pulled my key out. Jim Taylor is a Complete Rip Off!!! I will post on social media!

Your local expert that will treat you fair. Wont charge for parts or repairs that never needed replaced. Highly recommend, owner Chris will treat you with respect, and fix your vehicle right the first time....

I moved to Sarasota a little over a year ago. I was having brake trouble with 2 of my vehicles. Chris came highly recommended from the owners of K9 Korral, and I know why. He is honest and fair in his prices and the work he and his team is exceptional. They truly believe in fixing it right the 1st time and at a fair price. He is takes the time to show you in detail the problem and what they will need to in order to repair properly. Since having my brakes fixed I have had them replace the engine in my Corvette. This the ONLY repair shop that I will ever use and I refer them to everyone I know.

I read the comment posted by an angry person who couldnt get his air fix hey if your car is to dirty do not bring it to a shop unless you clean the dang thing period Chris and his wife do not need someone posting false statements on google

BEWARE: Get your vehicle serviced somewhere else. My wife and I took our vehicle in for AC repair, and were disrespected and insulted by the owner/management. It was extremely hot inside our vehicle, and we really needed the AC repaired. The owner of this establishment said our vehicle was too old, and nasty, and denied us service and spoke to us as if he was a racist. He also angrily slammed the hood of our car when he thought we were not looking while we were in the waiting area. We are so glad this business did not get a dime of our money.
