I was pretty impressed. It was my first time there and I wanted to find some little things for a 2 and 4 year old to play with while in the car....I bought a tea set, bubbles, little boas, puzzles, coloring books and glow sticks and spent well below 20 bucks. Staff were super friendly and appeared to like their jobs. It was pretty organized too.

This is a REAL dollar store. No surprises when you get up to the register - everything is really a dollar.

I walked in to this store today and immediately walked out. I was surrounded by 20+ people checking out and waiting for their friends to finish. The employees were masked, but none of these people were . There’s a sign on the door stating that you must wear a mask to enter. Very disappointing. No wonder that zip code,34232, has the highest percentage of Covid cases. We have to work together to beat this nasty 😷 virus.

Disappointed to say the least. There was an incident outside there store that required emergency attention. The employees did nothing. Did not call 911. I did. I even had to suggest they lock the door due to the violent nature of the situation. Once the situation was over, I continued to shop and heard repeated complaints from a cashier about her being ready to walk out off the job. Extremely unprofessional. I guess what do you expect at a dollar store.

I was very disgusted! My experience at other Dollar Tree stores has been very positive. However, today the young man who was checking me & other people out, was disgusting. He continually raised his tee shirt to wipe his face with it, thereby exposing about 5 of his underwear. It was not hot in the store - it was very comfortable. Another employee (whom I could not see and did not clearly hear what she said), but his reply to her was dont judge me. and continued his indecent behavior! I was very disturbed by his behavior and am glad to have the opportunity to address this. I assume you know the store I visited - it is located on Bahia Vista in Sarasota, FL. The store itself was very clean & neat.

Pretty typical dollar store, the clientele are reasonably polite albeit a little oblivious to others trying to navigate the isles. Likewise the check out experience is ritualized with people again a bit inattentive to the presence of others wishing to get on with the experience and leave without prolonging the visit by blocking the exit route...

Everything is $1, how can you beat that? So the shelves may be a little bare or someone takes up the entire aisle, it’s cheap and convenient.

Good prices.I suggest you count you item I got overcharge for items more than 3 times different shopping visit and two different occasions they just left the item on the counter and didnt put it in the bag. For security they have recount every item in the bag to see if you lied. so count the item before and make sure you check your receipt.

Absolutely the worst Dollar Tree I have ever shopped. At Bahia Vista and Beneva. My second time in 5 months. Shelves empty throughout the store. More than one employee displaying a sour attitude. I shop a Dollar tree weekly in other areas within 10 to 20 miles of this one and spend between 15 and $20 each visit

I shop at this Dollar Tree often and also the one on Fruitville. Everyone is usually so nice, but today there was a huge line and only 1 cashier, so another guy was put on a register. His name was Junior. He never made eye contact, and didnt say anything when I said Hello. I told him I didnt need a bag and he could put my things in a bucket I bought and he just threw, not placed, but threw the items in. He told me the total and grabbed the money, then shoved my change at me with a bothered sigh. Then he started ringing the next person up. I said Youre welcome loudly because he was a real jerk. I think he was bugged that he had to come off the floor where he was stocking and work a register....still, I work retail and even though it can get to you, you NEVER treat customers like this. He needs a different job!

Must say it is one of the cleaner Dollar Tree stores Ive visited. As a consumer, it is frustrating to arrive at one of your stores to shop, have no carts available because that are filled with freight waiting to be placed on the shelves for consumers to purcahse. The staff at the particular store (Beneva and Bahia Vista) are friendly and customer oriented.

Management was very nice. Store was clean, all the shelves were stocked. All around pleasant.
