A VERY overdue review, but I will not be going anywhere else! I needed to sell some of my jewelry and 2 old Rolex watches I had .After walking the hectic streets of Miami’s jewelry district, I knew I had to get as far away as possible. I am so happy I found Sarasota watch company, they were far from the chaos of Miami’s jewelry district . Steve was the ultimate people person. he went through every piece of my jewelry, tested them in front of me, and explained why he was passing on some items. He even caught a bracelet I had marked as sterling and told me it was 10K white gold! It was refreshing to work with such an honest person in this industry, especially one who didnt patronize me or try to cheat me, there was no condescension like that of the Jewelry District. After he wrote me a bigger-than-expected check, he didnt try to rush me out the door to get to the next client. I told him I was looking for a specific piece myself and he told me that while they could make me something similar, I might as well get the official stamped item from the retail store. Shocked he didnt try to sell me on their own stuff. We stayed and chatted, talking about his personal favorite pieces. A quality businessman! Will 100% be my go to place to sell and buy jewelry and watches.

I have never been to Sarasota watch company before and went there because a coworker of mine told me they were a trusted watch company . I was taken back by the beauty of the store and the quality products. I found a Rolex section and saw the watch I have been thinking about since November. Tatiana, a sales women, came over and took the watch out for me as well as a similar one that had been confusing me as which to pick. Tatiana had me wear the watch and she put it on as well, which was great, since she was well dressed and I could see how it would look in formal clothing. I asked the price which was a bit more than I hoped for but Tatiana realizing I was serious, offered a better price that made us both happy.I have to say that this was an extremely pleasant experience, She set up the watch, and went over the proper care of the watch.I will certainly be returning in the near future, the professionalism in this fine establishment was enough to make a sale for me, and a happy one it was .

I called for a Skagen watch. I was politely told they didnt carry them but others very similar and comfortable. I rushed over with excitement and was not at all disappointed. The gentleman, I think owner was wonderful and proceeded to show me the watches we had discussed. The selection was bountiful, so many choices. I bought two, the pricing was more than fair and a 20% discount. Im so happy, Ill go back again and again. I highly recommend this place.

A rare findI have a Tiffany & Co. Atmos clock that wasn’t keeping the right time. I decided to get it serviced and took it to 6 watch repair experts in the Miami area. They quoted me ridiculous prices and told me it will take 4-6 months to get serviced and it still wouldn’t hold perfect time, that it will be off a few seconds. I got very frustrated. One of my friends mentioned Sarasota Watch Company, and said to go there that I won’t regret it. He said if he can’t do it they will send me to the right place. The employees are just real and truly care about people and their issues, not just about making money. I was hesitant at first when I googled it since it was a 3 1/2 hour drive. I called them and asked if they work on clocks like this and he said, “Yes not only do we, but we enjoy working on them.” He convinced me. I decided to take the drive. When I got there, they greeted me with such enthusiasm. Not only did they end up fixing my clock, but he charged me much less then the quotes I received and shipped it back to me. It has not missed a second to date and it’s been over 4 months. Oh, I ended up buying a watch there as well. Thank you Sarasota Watch Company. You are truly rare find!!

Store hours said they are open until 6:00. I traveled over 15 minutes each way because I was interested in a couple of watches on their website. I arrive at approximately 5:15 to be told they were closing early and had already put up the breitlings and corums I was interested in. I shouldn’t have to say this, but here goes anyway. In retail sales, it’s a bad idea to let a customer leave because you want to be lazy and not get something back out (especially when you are not suppose to close for another 45 minutes). That’s a terrible retail strategy. I could go back tomorrow before I leave town, but at this point, I’m not going to give them my business. Their loss. Someone else will be happy to take my money.

I spent the last couple of months browsing their site and came across a watch I really liked so I called and arranged to stop by store to view four different watches. I arrived and within 5 minutes the watches I had selected were laid out and ready for me to view and try on. As a business professional, I place more of a focus on the efficiency of the process, knowledge of the salesperson and the time I spend, not overly concerned about being coddled and pampered at a watch store. I was referred to them by a master jeweler at a jewelry store nearby to do some repairs on my favorite watch and I can see why. They know what they are doing, the repairs were quick and the way you are treated in the store makes you feel special. There are a ton of watches for sale and also purses, jewelry, boxes, clocks, pens and other collectibles. This place is a gem.

Brought a Tag in for repair - did not auto wind anymore - plus WANTED A cleaning - dropped off in September didn’t complete until November- no calls nothing - after a month I called every week and was told they are working on it - after 3 months finally picked up watch - $800 later the watch is exactly the same - I don’t even think they did anything beside polish the case - sent it off to Tag to get it fixed - DO NOT TRUST - just send it back to the manufacturer unless you got 800 bucks to piss through

I took a Rolex Datejust in for service and, although they were relatively quick with the repair, they did not leave a message when they called to notify me it was ready, so a week passed before I called to inquire about the status. More importantly, upon closer inspection I noticed several new scratches on the bezel and case, as well as some cleaning gunk left on the minute hand. My advice: suffer the extra expense and time, and just get your watch serviced properly at a Rolex Service Center, or whatever the official repair avenue is for your watch. Its just not worth it.

The absolute worst people to deal with. They are out to rob you and their watches are overpriced! They treat other business with with horrible disrespect, its actually very sad. NEVER EVER GO HERE.

Honest people. I brought two winding watches in for repair because I thought they were running too fast. The fellow tested the watches on an electronic device and said both watches were in fine shape and needed no adjustment. Very refreshing to deal with honorable people.

What a great experience with this store. In 2016 I was on my second deployment overseas, I was in desperate need of a watch battery for my G-Shock I bought the year prior. Luckily I found Sarasota Watch Company. I got in contact with them and sent my watch via mail. I received the watch back later that week free of charge. I also received a personal note thanking me for my service. This is the ONLY watch store I will go to in Sarasota. Just upgrade to a new Rolex. they still remembered me. It doesnt get better than that.

Their watch selection is higher than grey market prices for a lot of what they have. Better off buying from an online retailer that is legit. Wouldnt go here for anything.

After calling multiple watch companies throughout 3 counties i found Sarasota watch repair. Everyone else told me they do not work on G shock. They replaced my batteries (yes thats it) while i waited, not 2 weeks like the competition i found that did work on them. Super impressed, also found out they take trades and have a very good selection of high quality pre-owned watches. I will be back to purchase a very nice Tag.

AS a buyer of high end watches and a collector for many years I was quite pleased to find a store that serviced Rolex watches. I was new to the area and really did not know any one here. I visited the Sarasota Watch Company was was greeted with a friendly smile and a warn and genuine Good Morning I was taken back by the inventory of amazing watches. It was to me, a watch Paradise. Being the cautious person that am, I inquired more about the collection of fine watches and asked if they would not mind opening the back of a few watches so I could examine them with a Jewelers Loop. They were happy to accommodate me. I could tell fairly quickly that these were very friendly people who had a passion for what they do. All my questions were answered and I bought a Pre Owned Rolex that I know I could turn around and sell for more money on eBay. Since then my experience has been awesome, I have bought and sold more watches from them. You can not ask for better service or deals. They sell at almost wholesale prices or darn near them. Check them out as I did and you will also be as happy as I am.

Knowledgeable, friendly & fair - what a great experience! I took my Rolex Submariner in, because the rotor was making strange sounds and was very pleasantly surprised. A very friendly atmosphere and an extremely knowledgeable master watchmaker make this a mandatory stop in Sarasota if you have trouble with your timekeeper. It was a pleasure to have Randy explain exactly what was wrong with my Sub and how he fixed it. I was very impressed by his expertise and that he took the time to talk to me. In the end, for a very reasonable charge, my watch ran perfectly - free strap cleaning and pressure test included - and I left with a smile on my face. This was definitely not my last visit to the Sarasota Watch Company.
