I have been told by two different stores not sure if they are under different ownership or not that all the first food served in the cafe is organic. At least the manager at one store told me he would have to double check on this, but that he belive everything thing in the cafe / deli / premade food section would be completely free of pesticides.Tonight at this location I was told that everything made inhouse at the store at the deli would be 100 percent organic. I have strong reason to believe this is not the case.I had horrible acid reflux and my sinuses were acting up bad immediately after eating from here and it was pretty much my only meal of the day (aside from some organic nuts several hours earlier.I am giving 3 stars because at least the customer service was good there. The label for my food and the ingredients for the veganese was inaccurate and a woman who was closing took the time to make sure that my food probably didnt have soy or canola oil it it. I appreciate you trying to phase out to things that many people feel are extremely unhealthy even in organic form.Is the veganese the organic version? Can you confirm if all the ingredients being used for products made in house are organic. Again based on my reaction I strongly doubt this and am extremely upset about this considering my health and that I specifically asked prior to driving there.Also I think that order food products like veganese or oil etc in plastic is a really bad idea and just because it is less expensive, does not justify itself it any store trying to promote itself as health food, with all due respect.Even if it is BPA plastic which most of these containers are not there are still other plastisers and chemicals almost always in the lining that will leach into the food and thus can lead to hormonal imbalances and other health issues.If you research is it a bad idea to store oil in plastic you will probably see several reports about why this is a bad idea. BPA is not the only thing to be concerned with here. Even though most plastic have this and that has been linked to cancer.If more consumers were better educated about the food industry that might not be too hip about paying a premium price for food that has such risks attached to it.I understand not everything will always be perfect. However there are better options out there that are much safer and healthier, ie glass mainly. Some plastic can be made out of mostly plant based material that is completely biodegradable and completely non toxic. However that market is very new. Most food products are not being packed and sold with this type of product. It is almost a specialty item at this point.Hopefully more consumers and businesses will become a bit more conscious about this in the future and the tides will turn.Seriously though I do not feel you food is all natural / organic. If you definition of all natural allows for the use of harmful pesticides than I am very saddened. You website you make someone believe otherwise and your employees are telling people otherwise.Unfortunately this seems to happen far too often in the food world and it is deeply upsetting to say the least. Even more so considering the premium prices some people are charging.The chicken salad tasted very rubbery tonight. Tried to see if I could find what brand of chicken you carry. However I couldnt find this online at all, anywhere.I had a different type of chicken salad before that had turmeric in it from another Earth Orgins that didnt seem to bother me so muchIt could have been the chicken salad or the tuna salad that had my gut feeling. Ive heard and read the pea protein may lead to some issues as well and that is in your vegenass.If your already using an organic version and everything else is organic that something is wrong. I would suggest making your own dressing in house from scratch.However I wonder if the poultry you have is organic ie birds that are fed a non-GMO diet.Ive had acid reflux before from goats milk. From goats only fed a small amount of GMO feed

For a health food store to serve hot food and work the deli counter without masks, is insane and uncaring!! The manager or he said he was that close to the managers I was going to get, not wearing a mask nor are the cashiers wearing a mask… I asked why, and I was told because they were required to!If you want a little extra Covid maybe, or somebody’s breath or God knows missed from there’s spit in your food, then by all means go and shop here and eat here… Not me!I mark this as an unhealthy place!

Tonight I stood in line cash in hand as the cash proceeded to chat away endlessly with her friend. Her friend was was long finished with her transaction, yet they continued talking, and talking, and talking. I couldnt believe it.I was the only person in line . Finally, I sId I was going to go somewhere else to get my item, and the friend smiled and said, bye....Nice way to treat customers.You just lost one.

This place is awesome but their hot food is never healthy. Every time I go there for hot food all I see is pasta (Gluten), cheese on everything (dairy) and lots of meat. Where are the hot mixed veggies? And cheese less meals? They never have hot veggies but they are a health food store. The store is awesome and the employees are awesome but their cooked food is very disappointing. I feel like its always soul food or comfort food which is not healthy at all.

Even though it can be pricey, I love this place, have been going there for years. I like the special storewide discount on Thursdays. They have their own juice & smoothie bar, & small soup/salad bar wich is great!

Was drawn in by a coupon for $10 off $60. After spending a considerable amount of time browsing I left empty handed. Prices are outrageously high and store is not well maintained. I compared items that I purchse on a regularly basis and the prices were much higher, on average a couple dollars on something as simple as a bar of soap. We just moved into the neighborhood, I was looking forward to this being potentially a go to place. Unfortunately I cant justify spending the extra money, healthy foods are costly enough.

Small store with a disorganized feel. Priced like Whole Foods but without that level of service or selection, and much higher prices than Publix or Trader Joes.
