I received fantastic customer service from Robin who helped me to find replacement glass for wall sconces that I purchased six years ago at Light Up Your Life. It turned out that the manufacturer no longer produces these particular sconces but Robin looked up my customer record and located online a vendor who had old stock. Robin did this work gratis. Thank you!

I purchased a light, the quality of which was described to me by the salesman as far superior to that which is made in the US. The light was originally priced at $800 and I got a remarkable deal at $400. It was a final sale, as it was probably a floor model and it was no longer being sold. So here we are 3 years later with a light that is completely useless, not only does it not work, but it is rusted and not fixable unless the inside is completely replaced.I would think that these light stores would stand be their designer fixtures, especially at the prices they charge, but they do not. My thoughts were that at least they would look into trying to fix it for me. Nope, the man I dealt with just asked me what room I had it in, then said he couldnt help me because it was a final sale. Upon asking to see a manager, they offered to order parts and fix it at my expense.What did I expect? A bit more of an accommodating attitude, and maybe they could meet me halfway with the repair, or even give me some credit. After all, I do expect things that I consider to be expensive to last longer than 3 years. I will never go there again for fear of again buying inferior products and getting poor service delivered with a poor attitude. Home Depot treats their customers better than these people do, unless of course, they think youre wealthy.

First...this lighting store is like no other! When you walk in you feel like youve entered a lighting museum. The choices are beyond expectations! You wont find these fixtures in any other lighting store. Second, the customer service is tops! We had some ceiling lighting installed in our kitchen and under the cabinet lighting installed to go with our new cabinets. Installation was perfect, with care shown to it being done just right. And, what a difference it made to my kitchen. The expert advice we received was right on. It was just what we needed. I recommend this store, without reservation, if you want real help to satisfy your needs and something unique to stand out in your home.

Condescending staff. It was my privilege to be a customer of there’s..... oh wait that’s wrong. They think very highly of themselves. Tried to overbill me but luckily I saved the proposal. Dented light fixture they tried to hide and install before I saw it. Laughable customer service. Live and learn....and read the reviews.

The customer service is less than satisfactory. Unable to exchange a fixture that did not go well with our bathroom. With 5 more fixtures to purchase for our new home I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The sale associate I worked with was very polite. However, their customer service has much to be desired. They charged me incorrectly when I purchased the item. Had I not done a price comparison online and called back, I would of never of known. Instead of issuing a refund to my credit card, they issue a check, not a big deal. Except three weeks later, I called to check the status of the lights and had to asked about the refund. I asked about shipping and was told theyd need to follow up with the manager and call back. Four days later, no call back. They cannot ship directly from the distributor, and want to charge extra to ship items to you. Online shipping was free. Had I ordered online, none of this would of been an issue. I would of saved more money and frustration. Sometimes, it isnt worth supporting a local business.

Beautiful place, kind associates, but super expensive. Not priced for a typical home, so we didnt buy anything. For anyone in this market though, they offer to come out to the place and suggest lighting.

I used them for our prior residence 18 years ago and once again for our new home. They sell quality products and provide very good advise. I would recommend them highly to anyone who asked.

Unless you are spending something like $15,000, they seem to care less about you. I called their studio up over the phone to get a bid on a few Blackjack Lighting products that were in excess of a $5,000 order. Hardly a small number. After a few minutes of the sales guy fiddling around on his computer, he told me they did not have any Blackjack Products in stock and would have to custom order them. I gave him the names and codes of each product to look up for pricing the custom order out (he clearly typed this information into the system one at a time as I heard the strokes of the keys for each item). After another few minutes, he told me the system was updating and he could not get me the price at the moment. I deal with systems a lot, if they are updating you know that within seconds of logging in. I suspect he saw the final order was not of a high value like 15K and gave me some excuse to not help me any further. He asked for my name and number and said when the system was back online, he would call me with the bid. Two days later, there is still no call back.

Very Organized and very helpful. Makes your life much easier on a big job.
