The coffee was bomb and the choco baked good was delicious! It was definitely a great place to sit and work on my computer

Come to Kru for excellent, high-quality coffee and quick breakfast bites. We had grabbed coffee the previous day elsewhere on the main strip of town, and was disappointed by the long waits, mediocre coffee, and overpriced breakfast. A friend recommended Kru and we were delighted. Kru has a steady stream of customers, but the staff are quick and have mastered operational efficiency. The shop is cozy, and has an upstairs area with comfy seating and WiFi - a great place to setup and work.

The best place in Saratoga for REAL coffee!! They do a fantastic job with their espresso and espresso based drinks, and their food is incredible.

Very cute place and staff are friendly.has downstairs and upstairs seating so you can spread out from others.Food is made in the back and you can watch from 2nd floor.Coffee was delicious and fresh.Breakfast sandwiches were delicious and had some heft to them.Free wifi for customers.

Awesome coffee and a quiet place to work. There are two floors, both have excellent lighting and an easy open floorplan for meeting for 2 or 20. The coffee was excellent, my espresso came with a tree, which was offset in the cup, no easy feat. This just highlights care that goes into their coffee and quality drinks Kru Coffee serves.

This place has the best coffee in Saratoga, hands down. They know their coffee! Family owned and just a really nice staff! Breakfast was best I had in Saratoga. I could eat here every morning! Cold brew is SOOOOO GOOD! Highly recommend!

If you like good matcha dont go here. There were big clumps of matcha in my drink that werent stirred in correctly, made more like a matcha hot chocolate than an actual matcha latte (close to $6 for a small). Also server made it obviously rushed (wasnt busy at all) with the wrong kind of milk.

Probably the best coffee shop in Saratoga Springs.We stopped by for a morning coffee and left with some bags of beans.This place is not in the middle of downtown but worth the 2 min car ride to get better coffee and not wait in line for 30 mins. The coffee is top notch quality and the staff is super quick to prepare high quality drinks. Not to mention they are super friendly and kind.I ordered an Americano and it was ready within minutes at perfect temperature and it tasted amazing. I also bought their beans as they roast on site and had some really interesting blends.Will definitely be back when I visit Saratoga Springs in the future.

Really good coffee! I’ve been here at least 4 times on my trip to Saratoga and I love it! The cardi bee is really good, as well as honestly any coffee drink I’ve tried. The Kru and Battenkill Valley Creamery bottled coffee is also really good. You can find it in the fridge on the wall by the door. I’ve also tried the BLT and the breakfast salad. Both of those are amazing, but the salad is my favorite and go-to. It’s made with arugula, bacon, blue cheese, walnuts, tomatoes, avocado and an egg on top with this amazing dressing that tastes like horse radish a bit. Sich a great space as well to come and work or hang out with friends!

Loved my Indian Monsoon Espresso Latte. He loved his nitro latte. Smooth!

One of the best egg sandwiches I have ever had! The croissant melted in your mouth and the spicy aioli took it over the top! The staff was attentive and polite. Overall a fantastic experience!

Really good coffee, whether you want an espresso or some beans. The Ethiopian yirgacheffe is very popular, and for good reason: it tastes amazing if you brew it right. I go there, despite being out of the way, to get freshly roasted beans with exceptional taste. Well worth a visit!

Very nice place for spending time with friends. For me, the coffee is too bitter and acidic. The bubble of the milk a bit too large and not silky smooth.

My favorite coffee shop. Their roasts are a thing of beauty. The food is also amazing. Very clean, modern feel and clean kitchen. They also play awesome music. The only downside is that this place will make all other cafés seem meh in comparison.

This is a nice coffee shop, family operated, clean, friendly. They have a good selection of bakery items. I had an Americano which did not taste very well. Perhaps it was because I got it in a large cup where the espresso got diluted. Overall, recommended.

Amazing coffee and such a cool atmosphere. The big BLT was the best breakfast sandwich Ive ever had! Over a few days we tried espresso drinks and the drip coffee and everything was amazing. Dont miss this place!

Stopped here while on a road trip and loved it. Sometimes hipster coffee shops can be uptight but this place was super comfortable and inviting. The staff was friendly. They had quality coffee - you can tell a lot of work is put into making it. We got the Costa Rica brew, a latte, and splurged on some beans to bring home!

This place is amazing! My husband and I came to Saratoga for a quick birthday get away. I am from the West Coast and a bit of a Portland girl at heart...but living in the very North of New York has left a huge void in my life when it comes to coffee. As soon as I walked in to Kru I knew...they get it. The atmosphere was hipster classy, the employees were friendly and incredibly talented...and the coffee. That coffee! I SO appreciate any place that treats coffee like an art instead of a mass produced product to bring in quick money. Not to mention the huge kudos for the latte art...few things make me happier. Love that it is locally owned and roasted as well. We will definitely be visiting Saratoga Springs again, mostly so this West Coast girl can get her fix. Thank you Kru, keep up the good work!!!

Kru serves up good lattes and coffee. I am a massive fan of their vegetarian sammy. Can’t think of the name, but it is *chef’s kiss*. When they can have indoor seating, the upstairs seating is the perfect place to read a book or get work done.I appreciate the fact that the owner has been taking extra steps during Covid to keep his or her staff safe. So, I intend to keep supporting them when I can.

Came here when visiting from out of state, if I lived near by I was go here all the time. Fresh and interesting menu options. The best part is the loft, it was a really cozy spot to take a minuet and regroup during our busy day. Great atmosphere, menu and staff!

Came here for the first time today with my S.O and we loved it! The coffee was excellent and the atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming. Evan was super nice and informative and made me a delicious latte with beautiful latte art. Would highly recommend this coffee shop to any and everyone.

The atmosphere of this place is perfect. Lots of places to sit, work, and socialize. Im not sure if they have open mic, but they have the perfect stage for it. I recommend the carbonated cascara. Unfortunately they only have it in the summer. Its so good!!!To be honest, their coffee is a little bitter for me. Id rather a light roast option.

Best coffee shop in Saratoga Springs. I’m there doing homework 2-3x/week. Great teas and coffees and yummy sandwiches. Food is a bit pricey but very tasty.

Solid maple latte

People were nice. Im not sure how busy this place normally gets, but when we went around lunch time there was no line at all but definitely people who got coffee. After placing an order it was ready in just a minute or 2, faster than fast food! The coffee was good and there was cream and sugar to touch up the coffee if needed.

Visiting from Texas and had a wonderful experience stopping by this coffee shop on the way to Brandon. Good environment and the coffee was excellent. Service was awesome too. Price was super fair based on quality of what you got. Definitely recommend this place, will probably stop by again on our way out of town.

Kru coffee deserves 5 stars because they go over and above a coffee shop. First of all the menu is easy to read. Believe me theres no pretense here just good service. I visited them on the weekends and there were some great music to listen to a live trio. There are little nooks that you can sit and relax or have some quiet conversation. But the real beauty of kru coffee is the biscuits. Light and delicate but still able to hold your breakfast sandwich without falling apart. I wish I knew how they did it.

Amazing coffee and tea offerings here! I particularly enjoy the Bullet Coffee. Recently tried the peppermint mocha, which was also fantastic. Everyone that works there is nice, service is pretty quick! Great atmosphere, too!

Quality coffee, unique espresso drinks and fresh home made food options! They even serve local beers, some even have their coffee made with them! (And theyre amazing, you have to try the common roots beers!)The atmosphere is good for a quick bite, a coffee date, a study lounge, you name it. Large area, two floors of seating options . Plenty of natural light on the first floor, or a secluded study area and probate tables in the loft.They also have a tiny bar area to taste experimental drinks, seems fun!

Been going here for ages and have always loved it. Today, I had one of the most magical creations I have ever eaten! Turkey sausage, avo, egg, cheddar, with garlic aioli on a homemade croissant. Heaven.

After living here for 17 years and drinking a LOT of coffee, this place is hands down the BEST coffee shop in the entire area. Youll pay for it, but its worth it. Their iced caramel latte is my favorite, but their hot coffees/lattes and regular iced (including their nitro cold brew) coffees are delicious. You really cant go wrong with any of their coffees (I cant speak for their teas). And their sandwiches are great too - They even have gluten free options!

Love the Ambiance! Perfect for a good coffee setting! They have lots of coffee options and equipment thats rare to find in the Upstate Region for a coffee shop. They also have some interesting house choices sourced from Costa Rica, Kenya, Ethiopia, and others lands. High priced ($$), seems to always be understaffed, and they close at 6.

The pour-over coffee was perfect. The staff were very pleasant and shared their background story and methodology for brewing. Great space to meet a friend with easy parking solution just a few minutes from downtown Saratoga Springs.

Kru has the best espresso I’ve ever tasted in my life by far. Every time I go I end up getting cappuccino or latte because I just can’t get enough of their espresso. I have no idea how their regular coffee is but you definitely won’t be disappointed with the espresso. I really hope they open up a location near Colonie/Albany.

I went to Kru today for the first time and fell in love with coffee again. Its warm and rustic with a modern conscience. I was reminded of how beautifully complex coffee is and how wonderful it can taste when you connect to its journey from the earth to the cup that warms your hands on a cold fall day. Great coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Their homemade biscuits are great! They seem to run out of them all too often though.

Its not to often that a coffee shop comes around and kicks some ass! With a great place to hang with friends, get some great coffee, and do it all in a gorgeous wood beam shop ... who would want to go to the competitors?! No one. Every other coffe shop is just a follower. Keep leading the Saratoga scene Kru!

Nice to see coffee places that have multiple single origin varietals to do a pour over with. The service was quick and the Costa Rican I had was nice and bright. Ethiopian was also good.

Not a very welcoming greeting by any of the 2 staff employees working. Smells weird inside gave me a headache. Croissant was good. Tea was good despite not having any lemon. Only honey and sugar to offer for tea drinkers. Glad I came to check it out but wont be back

Ill openly state my biases. Im a West Coast native and coffee lover. 7 years in California exposes you to some of the best coffee you can get. Kru brings this roasting, extraction, presentation and overall ambience to their shop, the coffee and everything they do to get that delightful brown liquid in your cup. Appreciate it. Not all coffee is created equal. This place is my second home. Literally.
