Clean, spacious, organized. A bit more spendy now that its Market 32. Its the best place to get groceries in the center of downtown. Also I think theres a movie theater attached to it. Get a rewards card for savings!
The butcher here freezes their meat, resulting in frequently spoiled meat that looks okay. My fiance and I bought a top sirloin last night and when I opened it I was hit with a rancid smell and noticed brown under the label. I flipped it and noticed a whole section had progressed to a deep purple and was rotting. As I cut the steak, I realized the whole thing had gone rancid from the inside out. We went back and swapped it for some fillets around the same price and they had the same issue.Never buying meat here again.
Cheap shopping. Love this place
Convenient little price chopper in the heart of downtown
Market 32 provides essentials for a quick stop. Fresh veggies, farm fresh eggs, almond milk. Great for locals $$ in downtown Saratoga
A very cosy and clean supermarket ! It gives the wish to buy a little bit of everything. Fruits and fresh products are very tasty and very good. If you stop in Saratoga springs, dont miss it !
Love this handy little PC. Quick in and out. Dont have to walk for miles, lol.
Still a convenient market, but the make over has left me unimpressed. Many of my regularly purchased items are no longer available. Not sure it will remain my main grocery store.
Great produce section in this store. The store was neat and well organized.
Cute small but cute need more beer/wine selection
Love this store. Its super clean.. well sticked... staff is always pleasant and helpful. Often run in on my lunch break if I need just a few items
Small / didn’t say on the google search
Quaint little store. Stopped by because it was in walking distance of the airBNB Im staying in. Had everything I needed to make dinner (creamy lemon garlic chicken!) and a few essentials I needed. Check out was fast, cashier was friendly. Not usually a lover of price chopper - but would definitely return to this one
There are 3 price choppers in Convienent places around town for me
Great city location. Parking at the store and a nearby garage. Beautiful produce section
Great service, excellent prices
Market 32s are great.
This is a great little grocery store thats really close to Broadway. i thought it was stand alone, then realized where it was. They have some ready-made food so if you are finding that downtown is breaking you, run here to pick up a lunch or dinner. I purchased the cobalt blue Saratoga bottles of water from here, plus Saratoga chips and a Saratoga shopping bag (racehorses on it)---good souvenirs, and inexpensive.
Such a large store considering how little selection there is.
All the registers were down. I went there to eat pizza. It is very good pizza. But I couldnt pay it no way to do it. I just put it back I left the place. The worst thing cashiers are very slow. Like they dont care about their job. Not blaming anyone, but if you dont like your job?
Clean and well stocked...Smaller than other PCs just the right amount items..lots of parking.
I will fully admit this is a spite review, but hear me out. If you are ever downtown and considering walking for a few groceries you best hope you are not in a hurry because despite being a small store you will lose a large amount of your life. Even if you can manage to figure out which 1 of the 4 total checkout lanes is actually open (pro tip: the presence of a light on or a cashier present means nothing here) you will still somehow get stuck in a line of 6 people each buying 1 thing that somehow takes half a day to work through. I work a block away and have come here often, it doesnt matter if they are busy or not a sloth coated in molasses moves faster than you will trying to pay for your jar of peanut butter. To add injury (possibly literal) to insult, if you so happen to get through the checkout line before dying of old age the exit door onto Railroad Place seems to be programmed to change speed randomly. Ive been coming here for a year and a half and some days it works fine, others it doesnt work at all, and sometimes it starts fine and then stops suddenly halfway through. I saw an elderly man with a cane smack dead into it and fall last year, and yet it never gets fixed. Market Center Price Chopper - shiny building on the outside, cramped, criminally understaffed, and potentially dangerous on the inside. Ive literally walked from there to the price chopper on 9 to avoid the line and Im pretty sure it was quicker. There could be 10 times as many people in Stewarts and youd still get out faster. I know the few employees they have work hard and its not their fault, but this place is a turd sandwich and a can of sadness served in a bedazzled lunchbox. Consume at your own risk
Good selection
Good food
While great hours, the variety is quite limited, and the staff is quite mixed. One staff member in particular is quite rude and has caused me to walk out several times rather than stay to make my purchase - whether its because I have put my small purchase down as the person before me is finishing and no staff was at the other register, only to be told that the other register is open as the cashier was finishing with the customer in front of me; to having to fight to use the coupon on the bottle of soda I was purchasing (I lost and gave up the entire purchase); to having multiple cans and bottles be refused in the machines for return despite having purchased them in the area (and according to the law they are supposed to be accepted) to the machines not being available during the legal hours for redemption, this is not a store I would use except that it is the only one in walking distance.
Smaller grocery store with a decent selection. Stopped on our way up to our airbnb and got all the stuff we needed for the weekend
Nice store very clean employees are very friendly and its small but it meets the needs of what I need
Priced very fair. Decent selection for a smaller store.
The manager needs to enforce the mask requirement here. Otherwise a good and convenient place to shop.
I like it the cashier was really polite
This is the absolutely the worst price chopper on the planet yes its all clean and ritzy looking but the service and prices are horrible once again I had to wait at the deli and I was the only one at the counter yes not the clerks fault she was the only one on then at check out I didnt get the discount price not was I asked for my price chopper card. The only thing this store has going for it is its convience to downtown
Right now the store is really wiped out and no where to park there on top of it..i was disappointed, however I think this is stemming from the storm thursday..i did get most of what I needed
Decent. Small and small selection. It was okay.
Great store! I was impressed that the place had everything I needed, even a few somewhat strange things. I only didnt give it a 5 star because the prepared food section was rather poor. There was nothin but cold sandwiches that were made hours ago.
HUGE fan of paying less lol. I love their offerings of hot foods and the staff is great. Well stocked, very clean and organized.Examples of hot food prices:- Spicy (very mild) chicken tenders - $2.70- Small mac and cheese - $1.30- Small mash potato - $1.30The food lasted me two meals and the best part? The food didnt suck :D very pleasantly surprised.
Good selection for the small size of the store. Staff was very helpful
This Express Price Chopper is a convenient place to grab a gallon of milk or a few veggies and a steak for dinner, but I wouldnt recommend it for everyday shopping. The selection is limited and the decisions about what and what not to shelve seem arbitrary so if I need a specific ingredient Im never confident Ill be able to find it. Also, the layout is strange with non-food items at the front of the store, then the canned and boxed groceries arranged somewhat haphazardly; allow extra shopping time to find what youre looking for.
Great little store! Had everything I needed
A small store compared to most price choppers..It has a convenient location, right in the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs. Youll get most of the essential food and other necessities here. Some specialized items may not be available here. It used to be 24x7 but they recently reduced the working hours to 11pm only, as of early 2017.
Nice little grocery store. Cashier forgot a couple items in my bag. Bought 3 items & they shouldve fit in 1 bag. 2 items were small & I didnt catch it until after I left.
Store is nice and clean but cashier, Jessie was very rude. Didnt say more than 2 words to me. She seemed rather annoyed actually that I (omg) had a grocery cart full of food. Only went cause I was at movies and needed groceries.. wont go back again.
When it was actually Price Chopper over at least 20 years ago, and family owned, the name fit the store. Yes, the BOGO sales are great, and other discounts available week by week...but overall the original name no longer fits the description of the prices offered. I grew up shopping here with my mom, and as a young adult. But now... it us with much regret, I only shop here when items are on sale or buy 1 get one free. Walmart and even better, Aldis have lower prices set for every day items, including organic, gluten free, and other products people have no choice to buy because of certain allergies or health restrictions. I am very thankful that they still contribute to the community.
Good neighborhood supermarket, meat department needs to be more on point
Cashier ignored us for a couple of minutes to talk to someone else, wasnt wearing her mask properly and didnt sanitize things as she was supposed to
Your friendly downtown grocery.
Stop by if your hungry they have good takeout
Grocery store with great selection of hard to find items, really good sales and promotions,
Its a clean well kept bright store. Its pretty ok for a quick trip. A decent amount if product thats in good shape. Theyre not overly welcoming, however their service isnt terrible. Theyre just kind of meh.Not a super amount of variety being that it isnt a giant store which means that their product is at least good quality.Never a long wait even though they dont have many registers. They dont suck.Honestly, they have the nicest bathrooms. I think I love their bathrooms the most as crazy as that is. Theyre just well done and situated in the perfect spot. Also super clean.
Great store.Nice selections of cheeses.Employees are all nice and helpful.
Nice quality and great location...rare downtown location. So important!
A very small store but has what you need. It is more convenient but higher prices a new store that cares for the local people in walking distance.
Its a limited Price Chopper, so not all items are carried, and its very lightly staffed. Deli wait was exorbanent as well. Apparently it is for a quick hit, and not your weekly shopping because there is no room to pack your reusable price chopper bags.
Favorite places to shop for my groceries, they offer a price chopper card which gives you money off on gas @ certain gas station. Excellent selection in fresh meats.
Good place to shop.
I love this little price chopper. Cool corner neighborhood spot with good prices.
Small and over priced
Excellent service
Prices are very high. Also their bakery products almost all contain palm oil. Producing palm oil is destroying the jungles and pushing orangutans to near extinction.
Convenient
Clean neat well stocked and organized. Pleasure to walk in
Nice store. Creative layout
Several problems with this location. First, this place is so freezing you practically need a winter coat to do your shopping. Maybe an issue with the AC? No idea but ever since it opened the place has all the warmth of a meat locker. Second, the hours have been cut from 24/7 to closing at 11. Lastly, good luck trying to find someone at the deli counter. Too many times I’ve seen people behind the counter but for some reason they aren’t qualified to take your order. Yes, I know they have pre-cut cheese and meats already bagged but who knows how long they’ve been sitting there? Overall shopping at this tiny PC is a disappointing experience.
This Price Chopper isnt the full store, an abbreviated version in the city, open late, great for hungry travelers and Airbnb people...and locals passing by!
This small little so called Price Chopper Limited is definitely Limited in all ways possible! The produce is very sad and most of what we were looking for was spoiled. Over in the meat/seafood selection was horrible. The smell alone could make someone very sick! I suggest anywhere else other than here!
I really love this PC - very easy to get in and out.
Definitely the dopest PC staff around. Love the energy, the vibes and the chill.
Never have what Im looking for.
Great selection fresh produce friendly staff coupon friendly providing for all of your nutritional needs and more highly recommended
Love it spent all my money prices are low every thing is fresh
I love price choppers.thank u very much.
Downtown urban style small grocery reminiscent of NYC style grocers.
Convenient location. Sale prices are great but regular prices are too high.
As this is a limited Price Chopper the selection is often wanting. THe customer service is adequate but not great. The change from being 24 hours is sometimes an issue but thats not the specific locations decision.
Their rite up their with hannaford on good produce
Only go here if you have tons of time to waste standing in line while their poorly trained cashiers try to use the understaffed cash registers. And its not just that the people that are there are too busy socializing to bother with you. Not sure why they dont add self checkout at this hole, since they dont seem very interested in having staff and theres never more than 2 out of 4 registers staffed. Typical PC experience good sales, terrible experience. Doesnt seem like training employees is on the mgmts to-do list here. Attention to detail, just give us your money and get lost. Stewarts and Hannaford are better options. The service is literally always good and Hannafords prices are competitive. Im starting to think both are worth driving 5 extra minutes.
Convenient. Little price chopper but it is perfect for its location.
This Price Chopper does a great job with new urbanism. Good, limited selection.
Good predictable place for weekly shopping. Large crowds
Great parking. Fast check out
One of the better price choppers Ive been to
Ok nice place has everything you need
Amazing prices for college shoppers
Decent selection/ good staff/ some jacked up prices though
Its close to where I live and easy to get to.
Small but nice store. Like a city grocery.
Always well stocked, and very friendly and helpful staff.
Nice to have a grocery store downtown.
Small selection
Front desk staff is outstanding! Andrew in particular helped me tremdously!
Smaller store, but great for quick stops. Parking is often an issue.
Clean and very organized supermarket.
Has almost all the items you would expect in a larger one. Friendly staff. Just wish they would go back to their 24 hrs shedule.
Got stupid after it changed to market 32, organized strangely and makes it hard to shop. But there is a growler fill.
Isnt carrying spices like they used to! Couldnt find one baking potato worth buying! Deli personnel should be an embarassment to Price Chopper! I have seen more than one leave because no one comes to wait on them! Disgusted!
Limited selection, but good service.
Bought food here it was good
Love my price chopper
Terrible customer service at checkout.. I was surprised how dirty the store was considering its location. Staff coming in and leaving all looked miserable
Has the essentials. PC brand graham crackers are just okay.
Great store with specialty products
