Subs are alway great. And now that its owned by Cardonas some of the other food like the meatballs to go are wonderful too

So worth the trip from North Carolina!!!! One of the best places to get lunch at a great price. I almost wish I could move back to Saratoga Springs, just to enjoy their food.

Great selection of Italian cold cuts and Specialty Foods. Gets crowded around lunch time because of people looking to get the delicious heros which I served on wonderful Italian bread. The salads are excellent. They also have a nice selection of Italian cakes and cookies.

Very convenient location near our home. Great friendly staff and amazing canned and dry goods and cheese bar for sale there. theyve really got it all. They could however use more vegetarian choices up at the sandwich deli bar. very limited veggie choices, but otherwise everythings just great!

A classic ham sub. Probably the best deli in Saratoga. The line was long at lunch but for a good reason this place makes the best sandwiches!

Ummmm I really don’t know where to begin. If you are looking for the best sandwich of your life then you need to come here. The bread, fresh deli meat and the red pepper blend spread is lyfe. I had an imported prosciutto sub with the red pepper blend. Order it, you’ll come back and thank me for this. Trust me. If you are in the area this has to be a must stop.

THEY DO NOT RESPECT THOSE WITH DISABILITIES. Do not go here. I am not sure if this is because of the transition to Cardonna’s taking ownership, but I was there yesterday and my brother who has a speech impediment was ordering and he stuttered on some words. The person behind the counter then proceeded to repeat back the order to him mockingly stuttering as he did, all while a line stood behind my brother and the rest of the staff behind the counter laughing at him. He was publicly humiliated. We will not being giving them any further business and warning those not to go there anymore as well.UNACCEPTABLE

The only place to go for a sub in and around Saratoga. Nine dollars for freshly sliced to order meat and cheese on your sub or sandwich; the only way a sub should be made.(No pre-sliced meat in bags, yuck!) Less expensive for a higher quality meal than any sub/sandwich place around Saratoga. Its a no brainer. Ten minute bike ride from Broadway, super quick drive, friendly hard-working staff provide quick service, plus its a genuine Italian market with all the trimmings, from delicious desserts to authentic pasta and sauces to my favorite San Pellegrino Limonata. Dont bother going anywhere else, Romas is far and away the best!

I was told they had the best hoagie in toga... and, yes, mine was very, very good. Good cappicola is tell-tale. Thanks, Roma.

A lovely Italian market with a big menu of sandwiches and salads. Plenty of friendly staff and the food I had for lunch was delicious. I now have a favorite lunch spot in Saratoga Springs!

Wonderful Italian market and their subs cant be beat. We love to stop here and pick up sandwiches to enjoy on a bench in nearby Saratoga State Park + get some delicious imported goodies to bring home with us.

Romas makes absolutely fantastic subs they have everything that is Italian food oriented that is fantastic they have just changed hands so Ive only been there once since then so I cant completely say how the new owners are doing but up until then theyre fantastic in every way Keep you posted on how theyre doing under new ownership

It’s changed! Not for the better. Roast beef was awful, looked like ham. Won’t be going back.

This place has some incredible subs. Everything is made to order (i.e. you ask for a roast beef sub and they will slice it to your preference). Also their bread is second to none where its fresh and chewy with a crusty outside.You might have to wait especially during lunch but its worth it

This place is no Cardonas of Albany, who routinely use excellent crusty bread, has more reasonable pricing, nicer staff and better quality hot entrees. BUT.... with Cardonas buying Romas now we can hope they bring their original quality to the Roma brand.

Saratoga landmark for a reason! Stuffed subs, with fresh ingredients and very fair prices. The sub line is always a fun experience ☺️. The grocery items are great to shop through. When there, I always get a generous bag of fresh pizza dough and their bag of mozzarella right next to it for a delicious base for handmade pizza.

I went around noon, so I knew it was going to be busy, but all the staff were very quick and efficient. I was in and out in about 15.

You have to order pita bread a week ahead or there isnt much available. Other imports available not in usual grocery stores. A bit pricey. Filo dough only as thin as #4. I will try to get them to order #2, or anything thinner than 4.

I have been coming here for years as it is my neighborhood deli. I have often overlooked the indifferent service and high prices because of convenience but it really isn’t worth it. They have one particular worker who is so rude I won’t be going back. I refuse to pay extra for rudeness and disrespect.

I always get the chicken cutlet sandwich and its always freaking awesome.

The food is good but their needs to be more order. Customers just pile in and if you want a half pound of salami you have to fight through a dozen tightly packed bodies who are fighting to orser sandwiches. Not really worth the ordeal.

Great little store/deli that is a popular lunch spot for sandwiches. If you go in and the line is long, dont be discouraged - it moves quickly. They also carry a variety of spices, sauces, pastas, etc. that can be used in preparing Italian dishes. A local gem that is worth going to.

This has been the home of my favorite sub for nearly 20 years now. First rate cold cuts and fixins for a top-notch sub/sandwich. Tip: pickup their store same-as-cash card for $50 and get a $5 bonus added to it.

Ordering from Roma is always a pleasure! The staff are incredibly accommodating, very personable and funny, and also very good at what they do. I recommend their subs to pretty much anyone who will listen! You will not be disappointed! I recommend ordering ahead of time, especially in the late afternoon/evening when they do sometimes run out of sub rolls (a tragedy, for sure); theyre so popular for a reason :)

Yo. This place is LEGIT. After a super disappointing lunch at the Broadway Deli we were craving some great deli sandwiches. The line was long, but it moved super fast.We got the homemade roast beef and an Italian hoagie/grinder/sub.... ;-)The rolls are unbelievable, the meat perfect and sandwiches plentiful. The included pickle was delicious.And at $28 dollars it was cheaper than the Broadway deli for a couple sandwiches, sodas and chips.Don’t hesitate to make this your first and only sandwich stop in and around the SS area!

Romas no more. No thanks. Ordered thru a curbside service. Didnt get cubside service. What we did get was a nice long wait in the car (on an almost 90⁰ day) then no one knew what was up when we asked, then had to go into the store to ask about our order, someone finally shuffled out with an attitude and stated that theyd be fasing out curbside. Well for one, you cant fase out what youre already not doing. And second, get it together. RUDE guy that came out then turned around the corner to go on break or something. He didnt go back to work. So sorry we inconvenienced your day with our over $70 order plus tip, which how rude is it to ask for tip when YOU HAVENT EVEN DONE ANYTHING YET! Obviously if the tip was added at time of service if thats what you wanna call it, we wouldnt have tipped as they didnt even earn the money they charged for the food, as that was not up to par either.We were gonna try fat Paulies deli that day too and decided on Romas bc we wanted food and service we could rely on. Nope. So sick of the attitude in this town. The customer service has MUCH to be desired, here and elsewhere in Saratoga. Its gross quite honestly. Next time well hike it to Malta for PELLEGRINOS. Mmmmmm. Nice people, great food, happy to give them my money.Romas never again. Done.

Great food, but not the most efficient process for sandwich making so they get an inflated line quickly. If their bread was the same as Putnam Markets baguette it would be the perfect sandwhich shop. Most of the staff is super friendly...most of them, some can catch an attitude. I suspect if they had a more efficient process maybe they wouldnt get so backed up and frustrated.

Great local deli! I always order for my company (at least 10 subs) and they are all accurate and delicious every time. They can be very busy due to their awesome sandwiches so beware (or just call ahead!)
