Excellent prices for high quality clothes etc. You cant use the fitting rooms but theyll reimburse you up to 30 days. They sell just about everything and donations go to the Epilepsy Foundation!

I love the fact that the Saugus location now has self check out!

One of the most disgusting places I have ever shopped in. Food wrappers all over the floor and half drank coffee all over the shelves and spilt on the floor. Most of the items in the furniture department dont have price tags on them! Broken glass all over the floor just an overall horrible time. Maybe instead of talking to each other the workers and Managers should walk around and clean up a little bit.

Not a fan of self checkout. Not a single cashier. They had someone help you use self checkout. Goodbye to more jobs.

Customer service was rude and snapped at me because I scanned the wrong bar code. I quote her FOR THE SECOND TIME in a tone used on toddlers. The hell with this Saugus location, employees like that should be fired on the spot

Everything was great but I did see something that really upset me it was a shopper stealing your merchandise and it really bothered me but everyone there was lovely thank you and I got beautiful things I was very happy and very satisfied thank you all for what you do

Savers is the best thrift store I always find something unique and there clothing selection is huge, I shop there before I go anywhere else the store is well maintained and costumer services is great Cheryl and Donna are always friendly and happy to help.

This place is overpriced, If you think of donation then it is fine. Their people didnt know how to priced stuff and some of item is ridiculous priced. I attached picture here for example, the LED Lamp I found in Dollar Tree and Used Lamp I found in Savers.. I have been buying overpriced stuffs in this store and unfortunately I found out later it is not worth it.. And believe me or not, some item they wont let you return at all.

Someone needs to explain to the male manager that when the store is closed and employees are scheduled to leave 1 hour later that it is illegal to keep them locked in 45 minutes to an hour after that hour when they are off the clock to do what he should have had them doing an hr earlier. Some of them have rides waiting to pick them up at the time they were scheduled to leave who have regularly been left waiting up to an hr past their pick up time to take them home. If Cheryl can have everything done and everyone out on time, why cant he? Give his hrs to Cheryl.

This Savers is one of our favorite locations.

Great for books. Buy 4 get 1 free, but the kid chapter book prices have gone up from the usual $1.99 to about $4 or more. Not the deals I was used to. Especially when buying for a classroom.

Both Google Maps and Savers website said this location closes at 8pm. Arrived at 6:55pm and was turned away because the store was closing at 7pm.Business needs to keep their hours up to date so customers dont waste time and money driving over!

Well the manager is not nice at all, someone was changing the prices of the stuff so my bad luck I picked that things from a lady when she put it back I was thinking it was the price I try to tell the manager I just picked it up other lady was having it before I tuck it after her and I he make me understand like I did it when I told him It wasn’t me I was willing to pay anyway the price but I current believe I walk out like I was going to still something so bad service + the prices for some stuff is to high for stuff is donated by people

Called this morning, said I had a 3 year old dining set Id like to donate because were moving into a new house and I bought new furniture. They said no problem, bring it down. Get the legs off the table load it into the truck, bring it down. Without even looking at it, the kid at the drop-off said theyre not taking furniture, sorry. Waste of an hour. Taking it to Salvation Army where they will gladly take it.

I was so looking forward to see6ing here, but the process were high for second hand clothing, some of the clothes were stained or torn. The service was friendly and if you really spend a good long amount of time there you can find some great clothing.

People donations are great! I love to get books and cds from here. Although prices could be a bit better for people that couldnt really afford it. So far I have had good experience with people who works here.

During phase 3 of reopening post covid-19 wave one. The store was well maintained, staff courteous, and proper social distancing signage. The other shoppers on the other hand, scum of the earth, going the wrong way down every aisle, almost exclusively cis white middle-aged self-entitled jack wagons mumbling I cant breathe with this mask on kind of people... I couldnt roll my eyes hard enough with them. As usual the selection was just ok, I still prefer the Danvers location for random poking around.Tldr Saugus store clean and sanitary ( bathroom was off limits for shoppers) and staff are great, just avoid the nitwit shoppers.

They sell used toys and games in the North Shore area. Each bag is 10¢ after purchase.

I have been visiting this store from past few months. The collection is great, however the prices are very high. I used to buy a particular toy in Goodwill for $2 each (I have a collection of 40 such toys) and in this savers thrift store for $3 until Jan19. Agreed, near to Boston might be little more expensive. Now they have increased the price to $5 each, which is 150% more compared to Goodwill stores. This is so bad. Why do they have to increase the price on the existing products, they get for free? The managers were so rude to answer me and they said, this is what it is. I stopped going to this store now. I can get the new stuff with little increase in price from Amazon and other stores. Im unhappy with the product pricing and I personally dont recommend this store.

Its a resale store so its hit or miss. Ive found some Lucky Brand, Banana Republic, and Ann Taylor clothes for short money. Staff is also hit or miss, Ive met friendly cashiers and horrid ones there.For some odd reason whenever Im in the store there are at least a few children unattended and screaming...I like that purchases support the epilepsy foundation

Savers in Saugus Mass. Is one of the worst for higher prices. I stop donating and shopping in this store. I see shoes /sneakers that are torn, really worn out etc. and they want 5 to 6 dollars and more if its a brand name. Used Clothes are treated like brand new. Seriously??? I have been wanting to start a protest in my town about this store. They are ripping decent hard working and those that are not able to work people off. Yes I understand the workers need to get paid. But the prices are keeping many people away which in turn the employees wont get paid. I happen to be there one day when the local fire chief was called in by someone who complained that the store drop off was a fire harzzard. It really was too. But it wasnt me who called. The workers dont care that people who drop of their belongings would like to see that employees care just as much as the donor. No instead they pile everything on top of everything else. Things get broken, glass is always on the ground. Extensions for electric items are put in bags so that they can sell them for money, Instead of keeping them with the original item. Unless the cord is manufactured inside the products. Lamps and lamp shades are taken apart and sold separately. I have donated many items to this store and I have to tape all cords to them as well as sheet sets. They come in the store as one item. But they separated them and charge more. Same with curtains and drapes. Its sickening at how much they try to rip people off. I was looking for a glass flower pot to hold fake flowers in. Yeah they had them at $2.99 or more. I left and found what I needed at the dollar store. This is one store I now avoid.

There’s this woman who prices items at this store. Her name is Janet and she’s been overpricing items.Box of office supplies with original price tag $5.99, she instead priced it for $10.00 !I had to literally ask her why she overpriced them and she said it was for the donation fund. I get that but you don’t overprice items at a THRIFT STORE! She offered to lower it down $2 and I said no. I did not come to shop here to be ripped off. I came here to THRIFT! Absolutely unacceptable.

Prices are good, but some merchandise is unwearable, due to damage, moth-eaten. Very slow check-out. I found damaged item, on way out of store. No refund, which is against state law. Staff could use some serious retraining .

Im from the West Coast where thrift stores are a way of life. Compared to that, the Greater Boston area has much to be desired. That being said Savers (which we also have out West) is the best I have found in the area. We stop in whenever we are in the area and almost alway walk out with something.

Im a regular customer.Got an email for 40% off jeans.Went in there tonight with my daughter to look at maternity jean we found a couple of them and brought to register was told they were not included they were jean material found the ignorant manager not knowing his dam job.Didnt see in the email were it said excludes maternity jean.

1. Employees are rude. Dont seem to care what their doing. No one seems to know anything about what to do in their particular jobs.2. I bought a couch here and they never properly inspected it and it brought bed bugs into my home.Never going here again. I suggest you dont either. Because you probably will get some type of bug in your home.

It almost always has a bunch of VCRs for me to collect. Should be more organized... ALMOST all of the staff know me because of my VCR collecting hobby

Where do I begin??1- The place was a swill pit! (Spills on the floor, crap everywhere)2- the employees were rude (answering questions is apparently not part of the job)3- the merchandise was tagged incorrectly (a size 0 was tagged as a medium, etc.)4- some of the items were stained or torn so terribly they couldnt be used as painting rags(one pair of shorts actually had blood stains on the crotch)5- the prices were a joke & mostly based upon the brand name, disregarding the year or condition of the item! (A long sleeve shirt by Ann Taylor was $10 ...from the 90s)-I could go on and on but you get the point....however, I did find a few good books!

Definitely hit or miss with this place. Ebayers dont waste your time. Scores are far and few in between. Its so busy the place is usually in disarray.

There are many ways to politely inform people dropping off goods up for donation that they do not take certain products/items. This very RUDE man told my mother and I that their store does not take furniture, rugs and other items we were dropping off saying we are not a dumpster, you dont want to cost us money right?The items were in very good condition! not trash as he made it seem. We drove a few miles up to the Salvation Army instead where two very nice and polite man took the coffee tables and rugs that Savers rejected.For a company making money out of donations they seem to be extremely picky and rude. Never donating here again. I prefer to drive the extra mile to deal with better people.

Great place to drop off clothing and other household items for charitable donations.

They blow other thrift stores in the area away! This is specific to this location. It seems they put a lot of effort into stocking this location over other ones making it a more favored location to start at if you are thrifting. The reverse side of route one also has more thrifting, so this is a hotspot!

They price items way to high, and never discount. I hate the way the break up sets of dishes and sell them by piece, its cheaper to by a brand new set at Wal-Mart. They need dollar days for old merchandise.

The Latino staff very....***** rude, thry are rude to the customer and thry are rude to the American employee, they need retraining every three months, thry need to be avountabkw for their attitude, thry need classes on respect all the employees need classes on respect at work place and thry need to speak English the area needs to be clean and organized

Cleaner than other known thrift stores. They dont hide cracks and rips. Prices are getting higher though.
