I rented a trailer last week for 24 hours. When I picked it up, it was dark and the lighting wasnt great in the lot so I couldnt see how dirty it was until the following morning. There were rocks, trash, and even broken glass all throughout the trailer. I still used it and returned it within 24 hours, however it didnt get checked in for 2 days later and uhaul charged me for 3 days instead of 1.Avoid this location if possible.

Employee wasn’t wearing a mask when my fiancé and I walked in. Heard him in the bathroom before that and only heard the toilet flush, so he definitely didn’t wash his hands. He walked out of bathroom without mask on and just looked at us like we were the crazy ones. Honestly disgusting. Not happy.

Be ready to meet a classic bit of Boston here. The administration has a great sense of humor and delivered quality service and clean trucks. I had a good experience here, and would rent again.

Unfriendly/unhelpful staff, corporate and store are not on the same page. They give you untruthful information and make things very complicated.

Rude personnel!! Went to get propane waited outside as told and no one came went in and one person without a customer totally ignored me and the other told me to wait outside. I went to get it at the car wash in Peabody southbound. Friendlier group there.

DONT BOTHER TRYING TO GET PROPANE FILLED HERE. There’s always an issue. Two different times the lock wouldn’t unlock. Oh ya and every time I can’t forget the guy inside taking his sweet time talking about random stuff not even business related while a line of people are outside. Literally the same guy every time to . U-Haul should probably hire more people

Youd think that the workers want to get customers in and out. Nope!! Total lack of urgency. Go any slower youd be moving backwards

Everyone was so great! Moving can be so stressful and everyone from Doug when I made my reservation to Joanne who made sure I had the ubox for when I needed it and made sure I had what I needed (including locks which I forgot) to Bob the driver and Mike who helped make sure the uboxes were picked up before my apt freaked out were so awesome! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! I couldnt have asked for better people to have helped me out! Thank you so much guys and I will definitely be using them again!

Suuuuuper slow. Plan on being there for 30 minutes to a hour, even if you have a reservation. This is not a line-out-the-door situation. Two people ahead of me. Two.

Very professional, courteous and fast. Came in had me rented up and out in about 15 minutes. Definitely would use them again.

Scheduled a hitch install on July 15 for July 25th. Based on my positive experience with the person who worked here many years ago. On July 24th they called me and said that they have some serious issue to take care of and they have to reschedule for Friday July26th at noon. I go there at noon the next day and they say after waiting for 40mintes the hitch did not arrive then the two guys discuss some codes and decide to start install another hitch of less value. I walked in the install bay and asked to see the hitch and asked the person to stop the installation and give me back the car. I wasted 2 weeks waiting and 2 hours at the location and customer service to get back my money.

After a failed attempt to have a hitch installed and abysmal customer service at another location (Nashua, NH), my experience at the Saugus store was quite a relief. We were able to get a hitch installed at an early and convenient time. The manager gave us a pretty accurate estimate of how long it would take, the price was reasonable, and the manager and installation tech were both friendly and professional.

Do not leave your car here. I picked up a rented truck in the morning, but when I got back I found out that somebody hit my car in the back while it was parked at this u-haul location. Employees immediately got very defensive when I approached them and asked to look at the cameras. My car was there for 9 hours (the whole day) but when I reached the manager he was very unhelpful and rude. He called me back 30 min later and told me he didnt see anything happen to my car at their lot. First of all its impossible to look carefully through 8-9 hrs of video in such a short amount of time. Second of all I think he might be covering one of his employees who hit my car. Be careful and take a picture of your car if you have to leave it on their lot.

This Uhaul is okay. I live in the area and have gone there several times out of convienance. I dont think I will go there anymore. The past few times Ive been there I could not find parking because all the uhaul trucks they are selling swamped the parking lot and your basically just parking in the middle of the driveway. They are also understaffed so your guarannteed to wait, when you would think a place on broadway would be very busy. Speaking of busy its really a good thing they are slower because the help or employees are pretty much substandard, kind of dopey and slow. Also watch out for extra fees without you knowing about it.
