We drove to Savannah from Orlando and noticed one of the headlights went out on my car during our trip. Saturday morning I called several places that were supposed to be open but Mavis was the only business that answered their phone. They didnt have a long wait and asked me to bring my car in. When they realized they couldnt get the bulb delivered from the auto parts store, they actually drove over and picked it up so we wouldnt have to waste time waiting. The service was phenomenal and we were able to return to Florida safely with a new bulb in our headlight. They even recommended some places for eat and things to do while we were in town. Thanks for taking care of us, Patrick!

The first two pictures are my two brand new tires from Mavis. The third is what my back older tires look like. When I questioned the manager (Josh) about how disgusting the tires look, he instructed me on how to clean them. The bill for the tires and labor was $350.00. Guess that didn’t include cleaning!

Brought my tire in to this location, service was prompt and professional. Patrick was able to get me in quickly and have a lag bolt removed from my tire and patched properly. Service was outstanding.

The employees here are absolutely phenomenal. Mavis may not be the cheapest option when choosing tires and having your car serviced, but they have some great people there. I have a Mavis tire near my house in Rincon, but they dont offer alignment services. Ive used the Mavis on Waters Ave, and on Abercorn before, but prefer the waters location. The staff are second to none. From the cashier, to the guys in the bay, everyone is pleasant and welcomes you with a Hello and a smile. They are perfect for customer service. The employees here seem to actually care about the customer, unlike other places, or even other Mavis franchise locations. This particular location always gets high marks from me on their surveys.

These guys got me in same say for an oil change, tire rotation, balanced my tires, and repaired a valve on one of my tires. Josh and everyone who worked there were fantastic. They were quick, thorough, and kept me up to speed on what was happening with my car. I would recommend them to everyone. You won’t be disappointed!!

I recently visited Mavis Tire on Waters and was pleasantly surprised. They have all new staff and you could tell the difference!!! I called and got an appointment on the day/time I wanted. I was greeted by Leah with a genuine kindness and concern to help me with my issue. Jimmy was the man that checked out my car and again, was super helpful and spent time with me and explained how to care for my car better. I waited less than 15 minutes to have my car serviced. This was truly a great experience and I would highly recommend Mavis Tire to friends and family!

Patrick is fantastic! We are visiting from FL. When our check engine light came on, our hotel staff recommended Mavis. We tried the location closest to our hotel, but they said they did not have that kind of mechanic on duty. We went to the Waters location and left feeling confident that our problem was fixed. Patrick was patient, knowledgeable and efficient. Highly recommend!

Best customer service received from anywhere in a long time! All the employees are insanely knowledgable in cars, EXTREMELY helpful. We drove into Savannah and drove over a nail on our way in. Hungry and tired we needed help to get back on our 4 hour drive. Took care of us and made us feel so welcomed and relaxed. I cannot recommend this place enough, Id seriously drive 4+ hours just to get these guys again.

I came in for a tire patch after hitting a screw. Because of my Road Hazard Warranty, they fixed me right up with minimal cost and time. I always come here, Joshua, Jimmy and the rest of the team are stellar.

I had to leave work briefly because of a flat tire. I tried tire places in the area but ALL said I would have to make an appointment. My boss told me to go to a place on Waters & Delesseps and BOOM, they were able to take me and said it would only take about 1 hour to 1 hour & 1/2…. That meant I would be able to get back to work which was my main issue. I was In and out in no time. The best part, I SAVED money. They insisted on REPAIRING before suggesting a complete change which would have cost more. BTW, Customer service was AWESOME. I have found a tire home.

My experience at Mavis tire was as business should be. Simple, fast, and effective. Their assistant manager Abbie showed professionalism, respect and honesty. She got me the tires I needed and didnt try to befriend me into buying more than I needed. Im happy to say I left Mavis feeling more confident and mindful about my Jeeps tires then when I rolled up to their store. If I ever have tire trouble again I know where to go. And when you go to Mavis, ask for Abbie!!

I had a nail in the center of my tire and I stopped in to get it plugged. The manager and other staff were very professional and stated they were working to get everyone taken care of in a timely manner. This location is the best. Waters and Delesseps. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. Highly recommend.

Josh at this Mavis Tire location was exceptional in every respect. He has stellar customer service skills. A stressful situation for me in getting a flat tire while in Savannah for a work conference. A four hour drive to get home meant I had to get the punctured tire patched or replaced. Josh helped calm me down by assuring me they would take care of the tire and get me on the road back home as quickly as possible. Highly recommend this store and Josh!

I cannot speak any more highly of Mavis Tires & Brakes .They surpass every expectation of a repair shop and then some. They went above an beyond to help me after I let a street mechanic do my brakes. Not only are they always in a great mood, friendly, and kind…they’re honorable with their inspections and do NOT try to rip you off. If you don’t understand something they explain it in the most generous terms for you to understand. They go above and beyond in repairs and routine maintenance.. This is the best automotive center I’ve been to. The techs are very knowledgeable, and the manager Patrick is very professional and experienced with cars. He diagnosed my car just by listening to it, and was right. The problem was fixed, and I will not take my car to any other place. You guys rock.

The folks who replaced my tires were extremely courteous, informative, and efficient. Moreover, my wait time was estimated to be over an hour longer than I was actually at the shop for. I’d recommend this shop for anyone needing a quick tire change.

I needed to replace a battery I bought four years ago.I called Mavis Tire on waters Ave. THE young man on the phone reassured me all would be well.I went to the location on waters ave.As soon as I stepped out of my car,I was greeted by a smiling young man in the garage. Quick and fast tire repair! Had a nail in my tire & issues with the pressure sensors and they fixed both problems in a quick manner. They were professional and informative. Will be returning for any future repairs.

I went in for an oil change. Very friendly staff. Was helped by Josh. He pointed out my battery was on its last leg, something I had been aware of because my battery has given me issues this year. He told me since I’m moving here from a more dry and elevated climate, it may be an issue. He also pointed out my brake pads were worn. He offered to flush the brake fluid, replace the front pads, and the battery, and he would give me a generous discount on the oil change. Since I am about to go on a long road trip, I decided to go for it. Why not? Well. The first issue is I got in my car and I had grease stains all over my seat and the door from the tech. I was very irritated by this. But decided I had wanted a shampoo anyway, so went home to clean out the car better and get it detailed. Go to start the car. Won’t start . Battery smoking. Ignition locked. Panic. But Josh was on top of the issue. He got me a tow and oversaw the repair, he even drove the car to my home himself!!!! I’m addition, he offered to help me cover the cost of my car Detail. I would give this experience five starts in terms of the customer care. But alas, we have three. And this is because despite the repair Josh did (he had needed to replace the positive cable) my car just doesn’t turn over the same. This is the first time since buying my car new from the dealership I’ve gone anywhere else for service. And despite the amazing customer care, I do regret it. I would recommend this place. But maybe for those who have a more standard vehicle like a Dodge or Chevy.

Probably one of the best service places Ive ever been to. My air conditioner was on the fritz and not blowing as strong as it should. I called up and spoke to the assistant manager who gave me great advice over the phone. She told me to come up and they would take care of it. I told her I had to feed my son first and she said no worries; theyd help when we got there. I came up with my 16 month old who was still pretty cranky but she played and talked to him so he got comfortable. Travis helped with my car and gave me minute by minute updates as to where my car was as far as what was to happen next. He said he didnt want me to wait too long since I had my son with me. We talked about his kids and how this daughter was close to my sons age. Finally my car was ready and they brought me back to check out the air which was way better than when I came in. I paid and the lady said any problems and bring it back so they could take another look. Told them thank you, happy fathers day, and was on my way. It was quick, easy, inexpensive, and best of all personable. I will continue to go here for all my car needs! Theyve made a permanent customer out of me!

Stopped her on a drive from Tampa to Charlotte due to a slow leak (nails in the tire). The customer service was wonderfully refreshing and Josh took care of us quickly as he knew we still had a fairly long drive! Just awesome! Thank you!

This was my first time at this location. I was so impressed. I got there at 4:30 pm and they were shorthanded but the front-desk person, after finding out I was having surgery the next day, took time himself to patch the leak in my tire right then and there. He was so pleasant about it too. This is now my go-to tire place.

Dropped my car off at 8 AM, went back at 5 PM and they had not even STARTED on it yet, no call or anything. Keep in mind I was the first customer there that day, the recent changes in management seem to be for the worse! Save yourself the hassle and find a reputable shop!

The Waters Ave location has been my go-to since a bad experience at another location. Please go here for all your needs! They are kind, efficient, and keep you notified of every step of the repair process. Each time I drive away from the shop my car drives like its brand new. Kitty, Travis, and the managers/other workers are just awesome.

From the moment I walked in the door I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness, kindness and knowledgeable staff at this location. I had been having issues with what I thought was a punctured tire. I did not make an appointment, but the service staff was quick to get my car in and up on the lift. They performed a check of the two tires with issues and filled them all to match spec. They didnt charge me a dime and were happy to help me out. Kitty was exceptional to work with and I will be taking my other car there for tires in the near future. I Highly recommend.

Had the great fortune of finding a stray bolt and washer on the roadway (but have no fear my front tire picked it up before anyone else could). Dropped the tire off with the great staff of Mavis (4pm on a Thursday), was in a bit of a rush with family coming in town, but they jumped right on it! To say the least I could not have been happy, even took care of a missing lug nut! Without having picked up that stray bolt & washer I would not have been graced with coming across the excellent customer service at Mavis on Waters! Thanks Guys!!!

Katie, Abby and Alonso were so helpful when we got a nail in our tire on our trip to Savannah, we are driving back to NY tomorrow and needed it fixed ASAP and they got it fixed right away. And they were all very friendly!

Took my truck here on 5/25/21 after hitting a curb. After making sure the suspension wasnt damaged i had then do an alignment. After getting the truck back it still pulled to the right(severely). On 5/28/21 i took it to someone else who aligned it again to where it actually drives straight. So either your machine is way off or you need a new technician. The proof is right in my picture of before and after. Absolutely ridiculous! If i break down in front of a Savannah tire i will have my vehicle towed somewhere else. If you want someone to do a correct alignment then go to automotion. They have a hawk eye system that does it perfectly.

I paid for an alignment at your store on 2/24/21 for my 2013 Ford C-Max. When I drove away from your store after receiving services, about 100 yards from the store my car swerved sharply to the right running off the road before I had to strongly pull it back. I immediately brought the car back. I told the technician what happened and he stated “I saw that on the screen” and he said he would redo it. I was 6 months pregnant at the time and visibly so. He admitted knowing something was wrong but decided to put me in an unsafe vehicle anyways. After he redid the “alignment” I drove away and again the car pulled to the right but not as severe. I did not have time that day to bring the car in for a third time as I had spent over 4 hours waiting to get it aligned twice. The car began making a strange noise the next day that started out quiet and barely noticeable and turned into a loud thumping noise in the coming days and weeks. The car seemed to sway from side to side and the tires seemed unsteady. I took the car into a local repair shop that documented that I needed 4 news tires due to severe damage done because a jam nut was left loose when my car was worked on at your store. They also documented that the tires were misaligned and that my car was completely unsafe to drive any distance due to the tie rods moving around and wallowing out. Not only did I place my 2 year old in that car, I also was driving myself and unborn child around in it after your technician caused severe damage to my car causing it to be a ticking time bomb. I have a document from my repair shop and pictures showing this damage. The total cost to me was over $900 including 4 new tires I had to buy and be mounted. Plus the 90 or so dollars I paid for Mavis tire services and the $109 I paid for a new alignment on the new tires.I am currently in small claims court with this company because the regional manager refused to pay for more than one of the tires despite having documents from ASE certified mechanic saying all4 tires had to be replaced due to the damage from the alignment.

The people here were very informative, and had no problem explaining the purpose of maintenance I didnt even know I needed. Ive been here a few times now and havent had a problem. They were also able to help set me up with a financial plan so I didnt have to pay anything today.

There was a little confusion with what store I needed to go to due to the type of service. By the 6th phone call I finally got my appointment.In my opinion, all stores should be able to do all the services. But, hey, there may be a reason for that.Once arriving to the facility, staff was friendly and accommodating. They were a bit busy but still were able to get my car done. I didnt like the wait time but completely understood why I had to. So I am not upset about that.The waiting area is a little cold if you go on a hot day so bring a sweater. Again, I completely understand why but I forgot my sweater which I usually bring everywhere since I get cold easily.The waiting area was clean with several magazines to read and a tv. I believe I saw a snack machine so bring cash because Im not sure if there are any stores around the Water St. facility as Im new to the area.I am thankful for their knowledge and professionalism of ALL staff and will definitely return in the future for more services.Its been a long time since I found a mechanic that I felt like I could trust!

Had to wait one week to get an appointment to have my oil changed. They forgot my appointment. I brought my car in at 8:30 AM. Instead of servicing my car at my 8;30 appointment they let it sit all day. In the afternoon they called an said my rear brakes were 95% gone. I was there two weeks ago and asked them if I needed brakes. They said the brakes were find. Two weeks later the brakes are 95% gone. By the time they look at my car it was to late to make the repair and they had to keep it another day. At this rate they will not be in business that long. Worst service experience ever.

Went to one Savannah Discount tire off Anderson, they didn’t have the tires I needed for my car, but the clerk called three different stores to either order more and make sure they keep the same price lower because of the trouble, went to the Discount tire off Waters Rd, they found a problem with my brakes, they decided to discount all cost on supplies and cooperated with me so I wouldn’t wait long. Great service and efficient labor. Thank you.

Revising my review. Follow on visit didn’t go so well. I was promised Tire would be ready so I took off during the middle of the workday to go get it. It wasn’t so I wasted roughly an hour hour making a trip there that didn’t need to be made. Had to make a second trip back after work to pick up the tire. They didn’t deliver what they promised causing me trouble.

Bad stay away. Nice folks but they upsel you on time and price. New rear struts.. After the first day care was not ready. Ok. Bring back next day 830 am. Ready by lunch. 3 pm not ready. Then done by 345 pm and they charge $30 more than they said. Stay away from this shop. Go elsewhere if you value your time and money. Must be new management it used to be better.
