My first visit to a store location was great. Used the range to test out two pistols they had. Spent about a half hour doing so. They were helpful with all my questions. My purchase was awesome as Joe spent all the time I needed answering my questions and educated me on the AR platform. They couldnt match prices with academy on two other guns I was shopping for so I left without those. Other than that I drove 2.5 hours to go and loved the experience. Ask for Joe!

I bought some ammo on Friday tried to shoot on Saturday and they would not shoot. I got some from Walmart that I shot that same day no problem with gun. I called to see if they would exchange and make it right and they said no we cant make it right nor do we care horrible customer service.

Wonderful store and staff.4 stars because the gun range has broken air conditioning, has been out for almost two weeks! Staff is not able to answer basic question of “when will it be fixed”.AC was fixed within a week of original post.Purchased a pistol after looking at dozens and talking to many of the PSA people. Very helpful having so many experienced folks and a selection that is breathtaking.

Anna was amazing loved her service and she was extremely patient with me. Well be back to visit you all again. The honesty was appreciated. And the young lady who checked me out always had a smile on her face, had an upbeat attitude, and greeted me and mom everytime we stepped through the door. Those two made my experience excellent, hats off to those two ladies. And this coming from a seasoned manager.

I can go to any store and purchase a gun with no problem.Not at palmetto state.After a couple of purchases at this store I have noticed a pattern in how I am handled against other customers.I will not come back due to the OBVIOUS way that they deal with SOME customers.

First time gun owner so, I went in there and there is a LOT I dont know. I was worried that they would talk over my head or treat me like a noob. They were the exact opposite. They were very patient. Showed me a variety of options and did a phenomenal job of explaining anything I didnt understand and answering any questions I had. Joe, and I believe his name was Ken (I feel terrible for not being sure) were both excellent. I cant say enough about how they took care of me all through my experience there leading up to my purchase. I will return there for my follow up purchases without hesitation. Thank you all.

Went in to purchase a stripped lower receiver. After finding one and deciding to buy one and presenting my drivers license, I got asked to recite my address. Also upon filling out the federal firearms form the customer service rep also felt the need to google the city that I live in. I’m just curious if they do this to all of their customers? Regardless that’s completely unnecessary…I’ve bought various firearms from multiple places in Georgia and have never been asked any additional questions, or had to get the city I live in “googled” to make sure it’s legit.

A friend and I went in with our own weapons to shoot and look at new guns. Being two women, I was worried we wouldn’t be taken seriously but everyone in the store was awesome and didn’t treat us differently. We tried a few new guns on the range and both decided to purchase. Joe was awesome and helped us decided which models were most appropriate as well as what defense ammo we’d need and spent time letting us try holsters. Great place with wonderful employees 10/10 will be coming back here for future purchases.

First time buyer, that has visited multiple locations to purchase. Best selection Ive seen in regards to all of the other shops Ive been to. Staff was very informative and easy going, especially Robert. Very busy due to high volume and wide variety of fire arms and accessories. However, multiple staff made sure to greet us (my wife & I) and let us know that we would be taken care of. All questions regarding my military service with out of state drivers license and in state concealed carry were answered quickly. Very smooth process from start to finish. Will definitely be back, only place we plan to return to for our fire arm needs. Dont hesitate if youre looking for a great experience.

Great customer service personnel at gun range counter but the range itself is the problem. Off and on technical problems. target line has occasional operating issues. A/C has been inop for the past week or so. Unbearable trying to shoot in that condition. Hard to get money’s worth from membership in these situations

Very impressed with this store! Had ammo in stock and a wide selection of firearms. Employees were knowledgeable and went out of their way to assist customers. Store is well kept, bathrooms are clean, and everything is tidy. Not often do you find a gun shop anymore that has all these qualities, I will be returning!

Best place in Chatham and surrounding counties! Wide selection! Great prices and even offer military and first responder discounts! The range is open and clean! Couldnt get anybody on the phone but figured out they dont have phone access right now. Also, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! They never give me false info and if the person helping me doesnt know what I need specifically, they send me to an employee who does!

I went to 6 stores looking for ammo. This store had both 9mm and .223!!!! WOW! So hard to come by now a days!!!! They do have a limit, 1 box per caliber she said, but wow were they some nice folk!!!! I didn’t know they had moved down this way but was very pleased with the help from the cashier and the other employees. Truly some nice people, LOVE it!

Nice store. Great to have a PSA not in SC. Richard was a huge help, was looking around to get an idea for a carry for my wife. Their selection on firearms is pretty nice compared to other stores. They had ammo, and theres a range with very reasonable prices.

Bought Ammo put wrong address and they charged $17.50 to change to correct address not cool.. I didnt even have the option to pick it up from ups.. Just basically its going to be the same charge if they have to return to sender., smdh.. Prices are decent but I might not shop here again.. Might want to start shipping coupons!!Update: bought from them again to give them a try again and service was flawless, shipped fast, correct address this time! I think it was a bad employee!

This place ROCKS. A must-see for any true firearm enthusiast, the store is brand new and booming with stock, from firearms to fishing poles. The staff are EXTREMELY friendly and knowledgeable.I recently bought a PSAK103 (which rocks) and the entire time the staff where offering helpful tips and suggestions for future endeavors with my new gat, not to mention PSA offers a lifetime warranty for their own brand rifles! Stop by, and pick up something up!

My husband and I went to PSA in Savannah today to take a course in Firearm Safety and our instructor was Bryce Muhlenberg. Bryce was the ultimate instructor in firearm safety, as he is EXTREMELY qualified and credentialed. He was very patient and thorough, and we would HIGHLY recommend him for any firearms class.

I was hesitant to make a trip here after reading other reviews but am glad I did. First thing I did was call up to ask about a specific gun I was looking for. The phone was answered promptly and my question was answered. Made the trip over on a Monday at 12 PM, and there were probably 8-10 people at the massive gun counter. I looked around, found what I was looking for and waited for an available associate. One of their team, Joe, saw I was waiting and when he finished with his current customer, headed right over. Price was right in line with other shops, and purchase was completed smoothly. I will be back.

Very unhelpful I called to ask if a transfer from another store came in wich I paid Shipping on but was never given a tracking number. She was kind of rude and said she didnt know and she couldnt go back and ask, so I went in the next and explained and all any asked me was did you get an email. When I told them I hadnt got anything other than the receipt they wanted nothing to do with me.

Their ammo is so well priced that people are buying it and turning around and selling it for way more at the flea market and other gun shops. I cant stand when people do that! Palmetto State Armory is FANTASTIC! I am thrilled with Jo who helped me and all of the staff. Jo was so patient and kind while answering all of my questions about two guns I brought in. The shop was busy but Jo gave me his undivided attention and helped me look up laws and TSA requirements to transport my guns via flight to a different state. He didn’t just point me in a direction of lock boxes, he took the time to walk me over to them and explain what I needed and why.Jo’s service today would make my Papa who passed and left me the guns proud. It was service like you’d expect in the good ol’ days. I was so impressed that I even bought a new gun. Jo showed me how to properly use it, take it apart, and made sure I was completely comfortable before finalizing my purchase.Thank you Jo and Palmetto State Armory team!

Store is nicely stocked but poorly laid out. The range staff are rude and ill informed. The range was in very rough shape with easily solved ventilation issues. Not bad but it is a pale comparison of what it used to be and / could be.

Wide selection of weapons, gun parts and accessories. Well organized and clean. Customer service needs a major overhaul. Ive shopped here quite a few times to support the local shops instead of buying online all the time. Back online I go.

So Im from Michigan. I go into to see about purchasing a complete AR lower. Says he cant sell to me from being out of state. Which I can understand. So I ask, can I buy now and you ship to a FFL in Michigan. His response, no we cant, were not doing that right now. I went on their website, proceeded to buy a complete AR lower, picked ship to Michigan FFL, lets me do it. Needless to say, I canceled it.Total condescending attitude. Talked to me like I was beneath him. Complete horrible customer service. Guess theyre too big and make enough money where they dont need mine. Which is fine, Ill go spend my money elsewhere.Rudest guy Ive ever dealt with in my life.Way to treat your customers, and a veteran of the United States Army.

I was in PSA with my boyfriend and while he was looking around I spotted a semi auto pistol I really liked, it was gorgeous. When I asked the salesman that was help us Can I see that 1911 please? I was rudely corrected with Thats a 38sup but yes you can. 38sup is the caliber, 1911 is the model. After his initial reply he stated he would show it to me after he put away the desert eagle my boyfriend was looking at but, I was completely ignored and never shown the gun. Great selection, bad prices, worse customer service.

I’ve been here 3 times now and the experience hasn’t changed. Staff are rude. They talk to customers like they have no idea what they’re doing. Planned to go tonight. Arrived at 6:55 and as I got to the door an employee saw me and locked the door in my face. A simple “hey we close at 7 now” would’ve been a little more professional. Maybe update the hours online for people that travel to the shop. I’ll drive the extra 30 minutes to the Ridgeland location before I return to this one again.

Tried buying an AK47 but the staff kept egnoring me, my husband had to yell at the staff member to help and cut the attitude out. Ended up buying the rifle with another staff members help that had already clocked out for the day because he saw what the other guy was doing .

The range staff at the desk are about as rude as they can be. They are not professional at all. When asked for assistance they make you feel incompetent or like you are bothering them. If I could give them a minus 2 stars I would.

New gun enthusiast. Been here 3 times to shop and shoot at range. All 3 times the staff was rude and acted like it was an inconvenience to answer questions and help. So I just left. Two of those times, it was slow. Think I will stick to the smaller gun shops that know how to focus on customer service.

Very rude staff. The two guys that i talked to were very condiscending and gave me the impression that me being there was a burden to them. I recommend skipping over this place and traveling an extra 10 minutes to thunderbolt guns.

Awesome experience! A friend of mine referred me to Palmetto State Armory because of her recent visit. I went to there website first to check them out. The website is user friendly and is very informative. Afterwards, I decided to call the store to double check store hours and Thomas answered the phone with a very positive upbeat attitude, so of course we all know positivity is contagious. I am now more upbeat and smiling wanting to visit in person. I didn’t know exactly where I was going but was told to look for the big sign and blue building and yes, this place definitely catches your eye. The property was very clean and the inside is amazing. PSA has everything you can think of and if they don’t have it in the store you can shop online. I asked for Thomas, he appeared, remembered me calling and took me right where I needed to be. Richard at display cases was absolutely amazing. Professional, knowledgeable, patient and really easy to talk to. After I was done there, I wanted to look around a do more shopping and that’s when Joe introduced himself. Same thing, professional, knowledgeable and educated me on everything I needed to know with the things I was looking for. Megan the cashier, is very polite and friendly. When it was time for me to cash out, I was shocked at my total. PSA has good prices for what you are getting. I thought I was going to spend way more then I did. I took advantage of the military discount they offer. PSA has all my business from now on. They did not try and force product on me that would probably sit collecting dust just so sales could be higher. Thank you for that! I work retail so I understand up selling and some sales people will take complete advantage of you, but PSA did the opposite. They listened to what I wanted and delivered on it. Over all experience from website to walking out the door with my goodie bag made my day. Thanks guys and I will be seeing you regularly.

After visiting the ridgeland, sc store and finding out plans to build one in georgia i knew this would quickly become my go to spot in the savannah area for my firearm needs. What i didnt expect was only needing 1 visit to know there was no longer any need to shop elsewhere. Prices-good, especially during the pandemic and amongst all the price gauging...customer service- excellent.....selection-excellent.....availability/instock-excellent.....EASILY the best overall gun store i have ever shopped

Made a trip to psa and bought a Glock 45. Paid full retail price for it here, went a mile down the road and the next gunshop had same handgun for $160 dollars cheaper. Also waited in line at psa for a good 25 minutes. I won’t be going back here again

Large selection but EVERYTHING is price gouged. Im close friends with a dealer at another shop, and was debating purchasing an Auto Ordinance Tommy gun from him. MSRP from Auto Ordinance was 1600, he could get it for 1010 and sell at MSRP. Your location had the exact same rifle for 2200 dollars. Atrocious.
