This was nice little museum with a variety of art mediums. We caught the last day of the Picasso to Hockney exhibit which was nice. It was quite informative. We stopped here while we waited to visit the Owens-Thomas House and Slave Quarters. It’s great that there are 3 museums bundled into one ticket.

Great spot especially for young kids. 2nd and 3rd floor had interactive Artzeum experiences where kids could build and do art projects. The building is well designed with natural light pouring in and a very open feel. Small cafe service downstairs. Exhibits had some range and a good amount of digital art. You can spend a nice afternoon here. Highly recommended.

Great museum to go in conjunction with the Telfair Museum across the way! Lots for kids and adults to admire and do! Lots of space to roam around, beautiful floor to ceiling Windows with tons of natural light in the space, and some great architecture! And I loved seeing the statue from Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil! Would definitely go back!

I am not the biggest art fan, but I enjoyed this museum. I loved the variety of sculptures, paintings, and photographs. They also had a few interactive exhibits, which I thought were really cool. The staff was nice and the air conditioned building was a great break from the hot heat outside.

We held our wedding reception at the Jepson Center and it was a stunning backdrop for the evening. i also thought the venue was pretty reasonable compared to other venues. We paid additional to have the galleries open during cocktail hour and it was well worth it as guests really enjoyed that. Working with the Jepson Center was also very easy.

The Jepson center is a great standard art museum for a city Savannahs size. The highlight of the collection is the American impressionism collection.Modern Sculpture is also a plus as is a locals section. The space is taking covid precautions with madks required and timed tickets when busy. There are shields as well. The space is wheelchair accessible.

The building is better artistically; than the pieces inside the gallery. It had no consistent theme, age, or point of view. Just a gathering of minor collections.

Great museum right in the center of Savannah. Dont leave without visiting all three museums, this one is a must. It has great collections of a wide variety of periods. In particular, the American impressionism collection surprised me. Of course, the statue of the bird girl (I forgot the official title) is here, which is probably a tourist favorite.

What to say about the Jepson Center for the Arts? Its a breath of fresh air, literally, in the hot Savannah summers. The facade is so modern, yet so respectful of the colonial architecture that it makes you want to stay in forever. Admission includes the other 2 Telflair Museums. The gift shop and restaurants are right up front making you want to stay in the lobby but dont, keep going in and be amazed!Jepsen has more contemporary art.Great job!

The front desk and cafe need to communicate better. When I checked in the woman mentioned several times the cafe was taking reservations. Thought I’d go ahead and book a table for later and walk around, expecting there to be quite a bit to see.The hostess seemed utterly confused that I wanted to make a reservation and offered me “something after 2pm” even though it was 10AM and the front made it seem they had open tables. Made me feel unwelcome, like maybe I was underdressed in my T-shirt and jeans or something? All said it took about 15 minutes to walk through. About a dozen paintings and a bunch of garbage, visual, abstract art that looks like it’s done by students. The admission is inexpensive, but still. Could be curated to a much higher level for such a busy tourist destination with one of the premier art institutes in the country. The hostess was nice enough to stop me on the way out and offer a table, but by that point I was turned off to the idea.

This museum was literally incredible. It was fun, interactive, and very interesting. The building itself has awesome architectural aspects which is great for pictures. They have both self guided virtual and audio tours as you go along which was very nice because you get to experience the scenery at your own pace. Very family friendly and the gift shop is definitely something you want to check out.

We visited to see the Impressionism exhibition called Monet to Matisse they are hosting in 2019. While not a giant collection, the pieces on display were wonderful. There were probably 25 paintings in the exhibition, and the name sakes are not the only ones to see.The rest of the Jepson Center is fun, but not that exciting. They had one exhibit that was live video from the Savannah River Site nuclear facility. It was some kind of living art display. For such a massive place I feel like they could get more exhibits in there. Its my second time there, and Im sure Ill go back in the future, but it will be based on what special exhibit they have.

The exhibits are fun and interesting and we thoroughly enjoyed it. There were lots of interactive areas which was a surprisingly refreshing break from the more information heavy things to see and do. Everyone we met in Savannah was so nice and welcoming except the woman who works the front desk at the Jepson Center- she was rude and obviously did not want to do anything that might be construed as helpful. Otherwise, its a great place to visit.

My kids (5 & 9) loved some of the interactive exhibits. We closed down the museum, and one of the staff members kept it open a few extra minutes because there was one room we didn’t get a chance to see.The museum store was also well stocked with different items. All in all, a great find!

A small, simple museum perfect for the small amount of time we had. The main attraction were the impressionist pieces which were stunning!I’d say the 20$ price is most definitely worth it if you have time to visit the two other sites, Owens Thomas House and Slave Quarters and the Telfair Academy, then you will definitely have a day out of it!The museum itself could take you a couple hours.

I didnt catch her name, but the gal running the drop-in kids art studio is an incredible human being. She was so patient and kind and encouraging and fun with my kids. I wish we lived here in town so we could go every day to make art with her! The ladies in the giftshop and the front desk were exactly the opposite, but I guess you cant win em all. The exhibits here are interesting, extremely varied, but rather small. The play space upstairs is phenomenal. We could have stayed there for hours. Beautiful, light-filled building.

Great open space with a lot of great art. You can get in along with the other Telfair Museums for $20, and I believe the pass lasts a week. The interactive art with VR and electronics were really cool, and by far our favorite section. There are rotating pieces, so you can expect to see different pieces on the top floor every so often. There is also a kids section with a lot of interactive learning materials. I like this museum, it’s small but nice. The windows are amazing and I love the shape and the lighting in here, it really showcases the artwork. The auditorium is well lit and has a fairly good amount of seating. The interactive exhibits were fun but unfortunately, a few of them were down and I feel like some of the interactive exhibits which featured nudity should have had a disclaimer. The children’s space is lovely and I love the recycled materials but it could be kept up better. I recommend anyone to check Jepson Center out.
