Great service, good employer, quality products. The employees always offer their help with large or heavy products. I wish they stayed open a little later for my convenience. Highly recommended for those not focused on the cheapest of products.

I walked in, what I wanted was in seasonal aisle, 3. Went to the register. The cashier helped me find my Ace account, since my phone number had changed, and Id lost the physical card. Away I went.Clean. No one hovered over me to get commission on my sale. In, out, done.

The staff are usually helpful and friendly. Its worth spending slightly more for some items than I would at the huge stores by the mall for the convenience. I dont know if this is still the case, but it used to be owned by someone who had worked in the store for many years before buying this one and the one at Oak Hill.

Its a hardware store, they have a ton of stuff and very helpful staff. its exactly what an ace hardware should be.

I bought an item on line with 2 poles consisting of 3 graduated sections to extend to hold up the sides of the item. The top sections would not extend. I asked for help at the Ace in Scarborough, Maine, to determine what tool to use. I would buy the tool and ask for their help to use it as I have arthritis in my hands. Using items they had, they got all the sections extended, and would only accept a thank you. Spring projects coming up next month. You know where I will be shopping for them! Thank you, Ace, for the hometown treatment.

Great hardware store that seems to always have just what I need. The staff is knowledgeable which is refreshing and a big difference from the big box stores. I do a lot of work in this area and always enjoy stopping in for a visit.

I needed to paint a door and I told the young gentleman I did not know what I was doing. After asking me a bunch of questions some I could answer and some I could not, he recommended a type of paint which was helpful but he was not particularly friendly nor unfriendly. I told him I needed some other things and he said okay and then he disappeared. I waited and waited and then another gentleman asked if I was being helped and I said I was waiting for my paint. He went to the counter and said is this your paint? The first gentleman had put it at the counter without telling me it was done nor did he come back and help me with the other items I needed. The second one was very friendly and helped me choose the items I needed and then brought me to the counter. The third gentleman who wrung up my items basically said have a nice day and turned away without offering me a bag. Then I got home and realized that I forgot an item which I would have thought one of them might have suggested as it was necessary. When someone comes into my place of business and tells me they need help, I help them in any way I can with a smile and warmth because I know what it like to feel lost doing something for the first time. I usually go to another hardware store but they were closed and didn’t have the paint I needed but they are usually very helpful. So no. I won’t be back. I understand I am not their target market but there is something to be said for being at least a little more polite then the cold unhelpful attitude I got from 2 of the 3 gentlemen there.

Neil was incredibly helpful. Not only did he find the right screws I needed to fix a part that broke on my license plate light, but he went out in the parking lot and installed the part for me to make 100% sure that the screws were the right ones. Above and beyond service!

Store is a little cluttered and its hard to find stuff, gotta give it 4 starts for that reason only. Reasonable prices and friendly staff, I will definitely continue to do business with them. I wish they would reorganize the store but it is what it is.

Went in for a couple of screws and had some old guy follow me to them and watch me the whole time even went out of his way to open another register to check me out so he could get rid of me.

Every time I go here....they either dont have what I want or they are all out. Have to make a 2nd trip to get what I want. Many times they say their other ACE HARDWARE store down the road has it, but I am not headed in that direction.
