Just bought mango ice cream from here. The man put some type of sauce and chilli powder in it which we didnt want. He gave us a sample to try it out, and let us take the ice cream for free while also giving us the mango ice cream that we wanted. A nice place being run by very nice people.

A very underrated ice cream parlor! I’m not going to lie they don’t have a huge varieties of ice cream like baskin robbins does but still AMAZING ICE CREAMS I mean it😍their mangonadas are very famous (spicy mango ice cream) so I suggest first timers you try that!

Love this place! Awesome ice cream and this location also makes fresh made tortillas. 1.99 a lb. Fresh right off the press. Definitely will be going back for the tortillas and of course the ice cream. Mangonada is my favorite. A must try!

Everything was good. Except the person scooping our ice cream and making our elotes had no gloves on nor did he wash his hands

Be careful with the women charging here. I ordered 10 pounds of tortillas and since I did not have cash I had them split the order in two so my friend could pay 5 cash. Well they charged him the full amount because they wanted to. When we asked them why they charged them the full amount they laughed in our faces and said sorry we are retarded and did not understand you.I’m really disappointed, because the tortillas are good.

Great service even before closing. The menu is 3+ yrs old thats online. A little more pricey but by a quarter or two. Many new items and lots of pictures in the menu inside.

I always recommend ice cream from La Michoacana but not from this location. It seems completely other ice cream. Like it has water inside instead of milk. It went in the garbage and kids were disappointed.

Ice cream was good not gonna lie but the service was horrible. The employees took their sweet time, especially this one lady who couldnt even scoop the ice cream out or work the cashier (she asked other workers to do it for her). The lady looked like the oldest worker there- tip for yall- if you get her tell the person behind you to go first because she provided terrible service.

I would say really good things about this place. The food is excellent. They take there time to make it which I dont mind they cook it the way I like it. They take pride in there service. If you enjoy really great Mexican food this is the place to go. I highly recommend it. The staff is very friendly.

Im being a bit generous with the review but I have to be honest, this is the best ice cream you can get in the area. And when I mean, the area I mean the immediate area if Schaumburg and Hoffman Estates, past that it gets pretty relative so to speak. But its the best ice cream place in the neighborhood with a great selection. They have roasted chicken and tortillas for a great special. Anyone looking for a quick bite to eat, I highly recommend this place. The chicken is delicious and to be honest I dont really know about the rest of the reviews on here in reference to the customer service but most of the people that work here are pretty sweet(if not all of them) overall and tend to you pretty fast. They are a family business and deserve the support. God bless you guys.

I been in a few michoacana for icecream... and I have not like any of them! Icecream over sweet made with cheap ingredients... so when my sister told me lets go to la michoacana in Schaumburg I was hesitant!! But she said I tried it and is good... so we give it a try... boy she is right... its delicious, as a good mexican I love pecan icecream...made perfect not too sweet plenty of flavor and reasonably price!! cant wait to go back!!!!!

Menudo is great. However bad customer service. Had us waiting 30 minutes for Menudo then a customer walks in asks for Menudo and get served before us.

This place used to be good bit now they always have something not available for days.. if its not the chips is the butter for the corn .. plus the yogurt with fruit is not as good add ot used to be

I just came from here. Waited in line to get my kids ice cream then when it was my turn to order (corn and a cup of fruit) I was told I needed to get into another line?... what kind of stupid process is this? So I paid for the ice cream and left. Next time I’ll just go to fresh market where it’s cheaper anyway

This is one of the Michoacanas in terms of quality I suppose. Here they have fresh chicken(to which I give five stars, its very good), tortillas made is in house(made fresh daily) and they have great yogurt/parfait cups(forget McDonalds). The ice cream gets 4 stars but the paletas or popsicles get five stars. The transaction is fast and easy, they accept cash, charge and the owner and basically everybody here are nice, easygoing people. Always a customer, always will be and I recommend if you live by.
