Tad and his team did a great job on a truck that I’ve had challenges getting properly aligned. Tad jumped right on it and fixed what others had not seemed to be able too. The difficulty did not frustrate him like I’ve seen it do others. His knowledge, experience and “can do” attitude made the difference. Up front and fair about all the work. Knew brakes were bad, and they were able to get it done in 3 hours. Would recommend this location. Brandon was very cool to work with.

Gentleman was super professional and went out of his way to explain about the air in the brake lines. He asked a lot of clarifying questions about the shaking of either the steering wheel or petal to help diagnose what the issue could be and gave me more info about what to look out for in the future. He provided feedback about what I was describing and fixed the issue within 45 minutes. He was quick and efficient. Told him the truck was a graduation present for my daughter and he told me a few things about what to tell her to keep an eye out for which was much appreciated!

The people working here are great. Juan Forero was super helpful, informative, and professional. Before, during, and after the work was done he did his best to keep me informed about what was happening with my vehicle. After the inspection, he gave me two quotes for the work but also explained the benefits of each one to help me with my decision.Overall, this was a great experience.Thank you!

We spent over $1000.00 dollars on a full break system repair after getting a free break check and mentioning that the E-break did not work. After the work was done and we were given a smile and a thumbs up, the E-break still did not work.After calling back and asking about the E-break and why it didnt work the salesman claimed that checking the E-break did not come standard with a free break check and complete BREAK system repair. After conferring with Midas in Universal City about their standard free break inspection we were told that their inspections and break system repair always has the EMERGENCY BREAK included.We called break check again and they quickly hung up on us after we brought it up to them.Do not come here, they do not care about your safety or their work. Dont put your safety in these mens hands.Im left feeling cheated and not cared about by this company, and even more so worried about my wifes vehicle and life on the road without a back up option to stop should her breaks fail.***UPDATE*** 07/04/2021We still have not been contacted by brake check at all and my wifes E-brake is still broken. I had my hopes high when we were told they are contacting the appropriate manager but all that has been proven is they do not care about you or your loved ones safety, will only offer empty promises to save face on their bad reviews, and most of all are only interested in their communitys money (quick money).If you do happen to have work done here, heed my advice and go get an ACTUAL brake check from a business that actually doesnt want to see you fly in to another car.

Had some funny noises coming from the brakes. Scheduled an appointment online with several appointment times available. Had to call to move it back, handled with no problem. I dropped the truck off at the 4:30pm appointment (used to repairs taking very long) and was shocked when they told me the repairs (full brake replacement- rotors, calipers, pads, the whole shebang) would be ready that night! Very timely and very accommodating. Will definitely be going back!

Keep in mind, I’m all about the service delivery. The day before, I made a 12:30 appointment. I received an on line estimate.The appointment included the description of my car and details of service needed. I returned to this location, due to the efficiency I experienced a couple of years ago. Service was poor this time. This visit took 1.5 hrs longer than I was told by Juan (Manager). No one kept me informed of what was happening. No service representative was in the waiting room for at least an hour. There was not a Covid staffing issue. I could see my car on the lift the entire time. No one had touched my car for 48 minutes (after the rear brakes were completed), when I knocked on the window. Juan advised me they needed a part and the guy at Auto Zone was out to lunch, but he was going to get it right now (2:50). Won’t be back.

Quality service with a smile... well, they had masks on so I couldnt see the smile, but everyone was kind. I was in and out in an hour for an alignment.

I went to Brake Check early to see if I can have my oil change and Ted said they were busy. He told me if I come back at 10:00 and I said yes. I was there at 10:00 and he got me in and his crew did it in half hour which I was totally amazed how fast the service was done. Professional, courtesy . I would come back again even though I might be living in Austin area pretty soon. Thank you again, Brake Check.

I had a very flat tire on the highway. I pulled off at the next exit and into Brake Check. I asked if they could air my tire to get me up the road one more mile for a new tire. After airing up, I had a few bulges that did not look safe to drive on. Juan was quick to offer to switch out my tire for the spare. He was friendly, calm, and engaging. The whole service took about 10 minutes. A flat tire on a major highway within 30 minutes of a 15 hour road trip can be a major stressor. However, his calm friendly demeanor put me at ease and kept me on my journey in a stress-free mindset. Thank you so much, Juan.

Friendly, fast, competitive pricing, quality work. Overall a great experience. Only thing, they forgot to top my windshield wiper fluid during the oil change but I’m sure it was just a hiccup. Let’s me know I need to remind them :)

I set an appointment for 1:30p.m and I waited 1.5 hrs and they still didnt get my truck in not sure why even make appointment I understand if youre running behind but a little more communication wouldve been nice

Cleanliness is nice, miscommunication is an issue. They were about to let me leave with out the alignment I payed for. The technicians had to be reminded multiple times on what needed to be done for multiple vehicles. Maybe it was just the manager, made it a point to show his dominance and authority by raising his voice with the door open to the bay so everyone would hear. Im sure the employees felt the unprofessional vibe from his actions. I saw the technician that was working on my vehicle leave my car unattended. Got in his car and leave at 10am for about 45 minutes-hr... No idea what he went to get or do but nobody picked up the slack. He didnt come back with anything so from a professional standpoint. Its frustrating to know you left for no reason.Took 5 hours guys.. 5 hours for1 carburator and an alignment.. Bro...Correction.. 8 hrs. I was back on the road in 8 hrs from 7:30am when they opened till 2:30pm. I was there all day

I brought my mother-in-laws car here one time and te customer service here is above and beyond. Juan informed me when how many people were in front of me and wait time, what oil i was getting, asked me if I would like my air filter changed and how much it would cost. He was very informative and made my experience hassle free.

Make an appointment for Saturday if you head that way, very informative but a little pricey, try to negotiate if you can. Very professional, had a minor issue with front end alignment, came back the next day and they fixed the problem.

The staff here is amazing. I was very impressed with the customer service. The job they did on my car was equally as good. The manager deserves to be recognized for the way he treats people. Its very rare to find people who work hard and have a way with people. I would highly recommend this place, and I will be back in the future.

Scheduled my car for brake inspection at 10:30am. Did not hit the bay till 1:30pm. Isn’t that why you schedule appointments? Gave me the run around on everything. They just want your money. Do NOT recommend this place. I will get this taken care of somewhere else

Horrible experience. I will not be coming back. Poor customer service. Poor leadership overall. Drove all the way across town because he said he would take care of us and had us sitting in the lobby just waiting to get checked out for an hour. Didn’t communicate to us he only had one tech available at the moment. Rather go somewhere else.

Came over from Discount Tire and i was a little nervous at first being a woman i didnt want to be treated unequally or belittled HOWEVER, Juan and his crew made me feel comfortable the entire time they even brought me out explained to me the problems and even took a look at my brakes! I had a 9am appointment. Noah took my Nissan sentra right in. Brakes were checks. I was showed the front and rear pads needed replacement. Also the rotars need to be resurfaced. This was done in a timely manner. If you need brakes go to Brake Check. Prices were reasonable. Thanks Noah and crew

Juan Forero and Justin Lopez at Brake Check store on 432 Schertz (TX) were beyond professional - their service was excellent. I came with my engine light on and a part to replace, and their service was fast and professional. Both were very clear in explaining me the issue in my car. Additionally, they found another minor problem with my rear brakes (loose screws), and were able to fix it before I hit the road to Austin.I highly recommend this store and will definitely come back for other services that I used to perform at different store chains.

My girlfriend regularly gets her oil change here due to its convenient location. She has never had a bad thing to say .My car is much newer and I still get free service from the dealer, but I needed to get an alignment so I stopped in to check these guys out .I was pleasantly surprised.Not only was the staff extremely pleasant and friendly, but they also handled the various customers promptly and efficiently .I sat in the lobby for a bit and watched customers zip in and out quickly .The staff explained they had to verify my alignment specs and then discussed the set up with me. ( my vehicle is not very common and the suspension components are modified ). Instead of just doing a sloppy job and showing a print out with markers in the green, they did the job correctly .Many other places do not take into considerations.If you need work done, check these guys out .Knowledgeable and expert level service .10/10 would recommend .

Theyre are a little pricey but i guess its cause i usually do my own work. With that said, i sent my daughter there and they did a good job, stayed late to get it done, and didnt try to take advantage of her by selling un needed items. So, yea theyre reputable to me.

Waited almost 6 hours for My suv to get done. Manager told me 3 hours. My car sat in the parking lot for 3 hours! Before they even brought it into the garage. The manager failed to say he was under staffed. Only 2 other ppl were working. To be honest, the whole experience was upsetting . Don’t promise something if you can’t back it up. Or at least tell the customer about the delay.

Great customer service here. I called this morning to check on time frame for an oil change and Amanda answered the phone with such an energetic and enthusiastic tone, very pleasant! She answered my questions and assured me they’d get me in and out as fast as they could. Incredibly clean facility too. Jesus did my intake and he greeted me as soon as I pulled in. He was so polite and helpful, made sure to let me know about their deals and was very friendly. Amanda finished up my oil change, made sure to introduce me to the tech who was working on my truck (Abraham) while she went over all the details with me. Cannot stress enough how fantastic of service I received here. With a long history in the customer service industry- this is how you treat people!!!! Big props to the employees for treating customers the way they would treat their family- and the owners for instilling such awesome standards. Was told 2 hr took 5 hr for then to do the job. break metal clamps use zip ties to fix it which fell off less the 5 minute after leaving and tell me they dont replace with the proper part. did a half fast job I was abled to take lug nuts off my car with my fingers for almost 400 dollars I expect better work.

I cant say how much I appreciate the staff at this location!!! I did not go there for any work on my car(but will in the future). However, the staff was very helpful this morning when I ran out of gas an just barely made it to their driveway. Jesus provided me with a gas can and when I was going to have to walk to a gas station, Chris(whom I believe works for the upper management and was there to have work done on his jeep) gave me a ride to get gas and even pumped it for me. When we returned the guys had to work hard to overcome the lock feature on my gas tank but they did so and got me on my way to work! These guys made a rough morning much better with their kindness and graciousness. If you need work done please give them your business. I know I sure will!!

They explained step by step the process as to how they determined what was going on with my car. They made sure I was getting a good deal and took the time to test drive the car to make sure I was happy with the work done on it. They were polite, patient, and very respectful. I had an all around very good experience.

I was referred here to this location for an alignment on my lifted F 250 and come to find out they do a very thorough inspection of the whole vehicle so I have to come back to get my truck back up to par to complete my leaking front and rear differential and tire rods as well and the price estimate was awesome I will let everyone know when I return to get my truck serviced. They also show you what they find as well and the service of the entire staff was exceptional. This was also my first time going to brake check and overall I was impressed.Brandon Minniefield

I was greeted right away by my last name. They guide me through the whole process. Showed me what was needed, recommended and what can wait for next time for my vehicle. They text me the whole time from beginning to end of the service work. Gave me a courtesy ride back home until my vehicle was ready. A week ago, we had breaks done at this location.Pro: Awesome staff, VERY friendly and Professional. Clean Clean Clean facility and restroom. Area has a TV to be entertain and a walking distance to McDonalds should you have to wait on your car to be serviced.Con: No cons, we did have an issue on balance, but Manager Jesus mention to drive it for awhile and if still an issue come back and hell take care of us.Today we came back and the issue did go away (lights on the dash board/balance) Jesus provided a service today (free oil) for our troubles a week ago. He lived up to is promise and went beyond to providing GREAT customer service.HIGHLY recommend to get service done here at this location, yes I know its a drive, but service like this is hard to come by. Well worth it.

Great customer service. I really appreciated the Thorough brake inspection. They explained where the problems were and explained the multiple ways to fix it with different prices depending on the service that would best fit my price range. Even their most expensive service offered was far far cheaper than any other places I went to get quotes from. I found that extremely helpful because I had little no money being a single father of 2 to get the work done that was needed to make my vehicle safe for my kids and I. So far I have not had any issues with my truck but I am going to still keeping an eye out on the truck.
