Waited in drive thru line for over 30 minutes just to be told when I got to the window they only accept cash. It would have been nice if there was a sign on the door or the window or anywhere on the establishment that mentioned this before I wasted my time in a long line for no reason. This was my first time at that place and because of this experience I probably won’t try them again. So please be aware that you need cash before you go to this establishment.

Same quality donuts.Never had a bad donut here.Very easy going we like it that way country folks.No A/C and cash only is the only reason it loses 2 stars.That wont stop me from going anytime I have a chance.

Great place!! We love to support local businesses and its location near Clemens is ideal for the kids to grab food in between swim practice and school. The kolaches and donuts are their favorite!

Best donuts and kolaches in the area. No need to go anywhere else. They have an excellent variety of donuts, always fresh, always tasty. Their jalapeño kolaches are the best we’ve found. The place is always clean and taken care of. The owners care and do their best to provide quality. We’ve never been disappointed.

BLUEBERRY DONUT....thats all I have to say..... Ive lived in church for 15 years and have driven by this place probably 1000 times without stopping (Ive always been a Shipleys kind of girl). Well my daughter was STARVING one morning so I stopped here randomly. What a pleasant surprise! The kolaches are better than Shipleys, and this blueberry donut....oh my God! its my new guilty pleasure-I pick up a few each week now, and I DO NOT share them with my kids!! LOL- theyre that kind of good😉

Besides being a cash only place and every different type of topping happens to be different price, might of been good! HEB dont charge different prices on different donuts. they would have more business if customers could use card.

Have gone here since high school, always loved it and Im glad theyre back from covid! Please if you see this place stop and buy something, the owners are amazing and they truly deserve all the support they can get. I personally recommend the jalapeno kolache and the blueberry donuts!

Ive passed this place for 3 years and have always wanted to try their doughnuts, but never got around to stopping. This morning I went and had their regular glazed doughnut and breakfast tacos,and let me tell you... that it was the best $2 bucks Ive spent being here in Texas! Their doughnuts remind me of home (Waimanalo, HI), and tacos were nice and fresh. Enjoyed a relaxing breakfast in their dinning area. Nothing can beat a lil mom and pop shop! Definitely my favorite doughnuts joint. Will be returning to enjoy more.

I used to go to this donut shop almost everyday on my way to high school. Their jalapeno kolaches were the best Ive ever had to this day.

I use to go here. Just dont keep cash on me and would run out of doughnuts quick and only be 9 or 10 am. Very nice owners.

I went awhile back because I was in the area. Got my dozen all selected to find out they only take cash. What? So I had to leave, do a U-turn on Schertz parkway and head to find an ATM. ATM thats right there at the corner store charges an arm and a leg. Than had to head back to pay with the cash....donuts were good but I have never been back because I never carry cash. I understand taking cards cost money but it cost customers more money to use the ATM! There are other donut stores in the area, ones that can be frequented without having to first stop at an ATM so thats where we go instead.

First time here, came Sunday late afternoon. Place was clean and owner was very friendly. Makes you feel welcome! Definitely will come again soon!!

This place is great, I love the kolaches and the donuts, yummy. Place is clean, but has a tendency to sell out of apple fritter quick. The workers are polite and friendly. Plenty of room to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee, with a delicious pastry, or kolache.

Great prices for everything. The people there are so kind. And the donuts are so yummy.

Went in yesterday to get donuts with my friend for both of our families. The donuts were yummy and everything was good until later on that night and today. Both of our families, kids, and adults got such bad food poisoning. It is the only thing in common we had eaten. I tried to call and speak with an owner and was told they werent in and couldnt seem to be told when they would be in. I will not returning. We all feel like death thanks to your donuts. I have never been in so much pain in my life.

I used to go to this place frequently in high school. Four years later Im in town and so happy royal donut it still around. Always friendly service, and great breakfast. The potato egg and cheese tacos are my favorite. Dont forget the salsa!

Broo anyone who rates the donuts delicious has never had delicious donuts before. Get your donuts elsewhere is my recommendation.

We dropped in for coffee after voting. As it was early afternoon, we found some of our favorites already gone, like apple fritters. They still had a variety of kolaches though. Yum.Royal Donuts is across from library and close to YMCA, and further down is Clemmons High School. They have a steady stream of customers, young, middle and older. Note: Bring cash. No debit or credit cards accepted.

The donuts here were still tender and flaky even for having been bought towards the end of the day. The service was very welcoming and friendly.

Friendly customer service some donuts were filled when selected which didnt make them soggy from sitting in display cabinet dough was reasonably fresh and fillings or icing was not to sweet but still had good taste, not a large selection of donuts but acceptable to satisfy the tastebuds prices are reasonable will be back to buy again.

Nice people. But the donuts are simply not that good. If you like Krispy Kreme, youll be disappointed. If you think Dunkin Donuts are great, youll probably like it.

Only problem is that you have to get there early for the best donuts. Other than that, A+ donuts.

Sausage and cheese Kolache are AMAZING! Their doughnut holes are soooo light and airy. Delicious blueberry cake doughnuts. Definitely a hidden treasure in Schertz!

Good service and donuts. Only takes cash/check which is not that convenient. We ordered kolaches... Dont do it. There was more bread than anything and the jalapeños kolaches are not spicy at all. If you want a good kolache, drive to Buckees in New Braunfels. Its a little drive but the food is way better.
