This is the best Subaru dealer in the west valley.Kyle is really helpful.My boy Mike always comes in clutch when I needed a repair and a loaner.My boy David as well, top tier salesman; helped me with what I needed at a price I was comfortable paying.If I could, Id definitely go back if I ever need another Subaru.Staff is phenomenal, service department is phenomenal. Never had any issues getting my car in.Give everyone here 20/5 star ratings.
Steve Russo was wonderful. I arrived at 7:00am for my service appointment but it was not in the computer which I am certain was my fault. Steve told me no problem, I was there and they would take care of me, and they did. This experience was just another reason I give Autonation Subaru a five star rating.
Their shuttle driver nearly killed my son when he drove off in a hurry before my child was even in the vehicle. Thankfully my wife was able to grab him and pull him the rest of the way in the vehicle. Driver then drove like a maniac for 15 mins until we reached our destination! Upon returning to the dealership to pick up my car, I noticed that the tires were never rotated (as listed on the invoice), my oil cap was replaced with someone elses old, beat-up oil cap, and Im not even sure they completed the two recalls that they said the did, since the entire service only took 1 hour and the recalls call for 2-3 hours. Worst Subaru service I have ever received!
They taught me a who new method of keeping time. Quarter hour equals one hour. One hour equals two. Hour and a half equals four hours.Four hours for a simple oil change.AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE

All I can say is WOW. I went to get my 30,000 mile maintenance and talked to Steven about what I had and hadnt done. The last dealership I had gone to to get my tires rotated told me it would be upwards of $500. Steven asked what kind of driving I primarily do, inspected my car, got a second opinion to make sure I was groovy, and sent me on my way with no service, saying I cant in good conscience charge you for things you dont need. Ive never had a service department tell me my car DIDNT need anything done to it, and I really appreciated the honesty. I will definitely be back whenever I do need service; cant ask for better customer service and care.
Of all the dozens of car dealerships I have ever dealt with in my life at the age of 52 this is the only one I completely trust 100%

After being displeased with 2 other Subaru service dealerships, I had my new vehicle serviced at this location for the factory included service appointments. While it is marginally better than the other locations, a few events have led to major concern.On the most recent appointment, my vehicle’s car door was dented and scratched after service. Before every appointment I walk around the car to ensure there is no damage. The damage was new and I pointed it out immediately to my service representative. She agreed that the damage was not there before. She summoned her manager who took a picture of the dent and scratch. My service representative put my in contact with their dent repair specialist who fixed the dent. However, when trying to get the paint scratch repaired, the service manager avoided me. When I finally got in contact with him, he denied they were at fault. He claimed he had video footage of the damage prior to the car being serviced; however, would not allow me to view the footage. There is no way even a high definition video camera would have been able to see the damage on the car so he was obviously not telling the truth.Additionally a few months prior, a recall on the vehicle was due. I drove 35 miles to the dealership just to find out they didn’t have the recall part. No call in advance to notify me they wouldn’t have the part.
What they dont tell you is that they put aftermarket parts on your vehicle ( Autonation Brand ) unless you ask for OEM parts. Why go to the dealer for aftermarket parts?? I was angry. I had to go to the parts department and buy a Subaru oil filter and put it on myself as they refused to. I have gone back for an alignment issue twice as it threw itself out of alignment after the first time they aligned it. Told me I hit something, no, they did not tighten something down. It was admitted to be their fault by giving me huge discount on the second alignment. I also needed some repairs, however they told me to replace one brake caliper I would need to pay $550, over $400 just for the part. The caliper on Subarus own parts website and dealer parts websites is just over $200. A Subaru specialist in Tempe rebuilt it for $150 with a Subaru factory rebuild kit from the parts website. Just dont think they play fair with customers or want to deal with some things. I wont even start in on my idle issue they blamed on my off road tires. Switched the tires out, the issue is still there.
Purchased a vehicle at Scottsdale Subaru on 4/22/20 from Merrick Madrid sales associate and Carl Campos sales manger. The vehicle my wife and I purchased was listed as having navigation. Upon arriving home with our new vehicle we started going through the features and discovered there was no navigation. Contacted sales associate Merrick Madrid and sales manager Carl Campos about our finding. Merrick, responded that tomorrow he we would speak with management and would let me know. The next day after four emails Merrick Madrid sales associate responded with nothing we can do. Navigation, is not a cheap option. So basically because it was a used vehicle sales associate Merrick Madrid and Carl Campos said there is nothing they can do. So, at the end of the day my wife and I are stuck with a vehicle that we paid extra for an option it does not have.
Great service at this location. Wonderful costumer service, especially from Kendra. I will be coming back to this service center because of her.
The service crew here are always professional and courteous. Ive been coming here for about a year and a half and always been pleased with their work.The waiting area is comfortable with couches and high tables to enjoy TV, do some work on a laptop, and have a complimentary coffee and pastry or fruit.

I cant ant explain how amazing this experience was for me. They were so forward and honest about everything, and after I had been to several different dealerships with multiple issues it was a breathe of fresh air. I felt totally relaxed and it made my experience even better. I really cant explain the amount of ease they have put me in. I will say I did much if the process online and communicated over the phone to make sure I didnt spend all day there with my daughter chasing her around. It helped cut down on the time I had to spend in the building, and also made it more convenient for us to spend time at home while they got everything in order. I will reccomend this dealership to anyone looking for a good example of how a dealership should be run. I just want to give Nate a shout out for helping us with the process a majority of the time, he really did make me feel like he worked for me and wasnt just focused on selling me something. No one has ever made me feel that way before and he has set a new standard for me of how I should be treated, for that I thank you!
