Very little inventory, but that is the case everywhere. Jay responded to my inquiry and went above and beyond to find us a vehicle to at least look at. Although we ended up purchasing a different make car that was (miraculously) in-stock elsewhere, I am confident that if we had continued to work with Jay he would have done great for us. I really appreciated his straightforward and friendly assistance.

Omg, the sales person that took care of me was Donald. He had my car ready when I arrived, Donald, was very very friendly and funny of course because I paid upfront for my car. He was believable but nevertheless he was very friendly and funny make jokes I believe that thats his true personality so it was just nice to have that as opposed to being rushed to buy something or more packages to go with your car. He even brought my kids Mr. Frosty ice cream. I would buy from this dealership again everyone was really nice there.
Dont bother making an appointment for service because it doesnt matter. They just tell you that they need your car all day even if its something that will take an hour to do. Whats the point of offering appointment times? I dont understand this type of customer service (or lack of).

This location has been amazing from the start- I was impressed with how quickly they did the oil change ~ less than 1.5 hours. I had an issue with the pull handle to open the hood and I had no idea how it broke so I called them the next day when I discovered the issue and asked them about it. It was like that when they got my car but they were willing to fix it on a busy day (Friday) and alleviated my stress when I needed the hood to open for brake pads change the same day before a big road trip. The manager and Josue were understanding and helped me out! Will definitely come to this location and I live in Gilbert (worth the drive).
Amanda took exceptional care making sure to find solutions to a couple of issues - warning lights were staying on and there was no easy way to put on a front license plate. In addition she provided me with a convenient cheat sheet for servicing. The person I spoke with initially told me that the included maintenance was every 7500 miles and I could only have it done early 500 miles before that. I understood originally that it was 6000. In fact as I have a turbo it is 6000. I drove it almost 7000. I also keep getting emails from Chapman about 5000 mile maintenance.
Service advisor was very nice and explained the scope of work in detail and answered all of my questions. The service center is clean and has a nice waiting area. I recommend using their service center for your vehicle.

I hadn’t made an appointment but was helped right away. I wasn’t sure if I had a nail in one of my tires based on the alert I received on my dashboard. It turned out that everything was fine and the heat caused my tire pressure issue. I was told that there was a recall on my car and they took care of that too. Excellent customer service! Not to mention the popcorn and other snacks😜👍

This was my first time at Chapman, and I was very pleased. The dealership is pleasant and comfortable with complimentary popcorn, bottled water, and available wifi. My service advisor, Amanda, is terrific, and everyone else was kind and helpful. My car was returned to me very clean and serviced perfectly.
We were treated respectfully and Daniel answered every question we had thoroughly and completely. I told him coming in that I didn’t want to talk about the dealerships car until I knew their offer on my trade and they did exactly that. It went smoothly from that point to the finish. Before purchasing a car at from Donald Duck at Hyundai Chapman in Scottsdale, I have been looking for best deal at several dealerships for the right car. Originally I was looking for a used car for a great price with low miles and warranty because I am a college student and cannot afford a high monthly payment. When I told Donald my price range and how much I was willing to spend on a monthly payment he was able to give me a smoking deal on a brand new 2021 Hyundai Elantra. Donald was very patient with my mom and I and fought for a great price on my new car. There was no pressure in purchasing the car and he even spent a couple hours informing me every cool feature on the car. The finance manager that helped us out was also very helpful and was able to give me a longer warranty on the car. I still love my car today! And will be a forever be a grateful customer towards Donald at Hyundai Chapman. I will be coming here again in the future if I need a car (which unfortunately isn’t anytime soon). I highly recommend purchasing a car through Donald as he is very accommodating for his customers. Thank you again for the amazing service!
We have attempted for the second time buying from Chapman and it always fails. They run the credit and ask all these questions that clearly should have been asked prior. Both times it is horrible miscommunication. Both times the sales man run the credit app with Chapman financing only, no other banks, no offers whats so ever. This is our second time and both times we did not get help. We have now found a car, gotten approved, zero down payment for a new 2021 palisade. Second time finding a car else where and getting approved. We were never even asked about down payment or affordability. Very disappointed . We have purchase two new cars this year that started with Chapman and ended with another dealership. As a reminder, sales man are to run the credit and await decision from bank not make decisions for them. Our sales man uses the “been selling cars for 20 years” they should really stop using that. It only counts if it is continuous sales.

My wife and I bought our cars from here and have always received poor service here. My wifes car made a loud whirring sound that I told her was wrong and even went to the dealership for and they didnt find anything. We took it to Earnhardt and suddenly the noise was gone. I feel like Chapman is poorly run, that they are too big for their britches and their phone service is poor, they dont even know about their subject matter. Avoid Chapman and find a better dealership. All I have ever experienced here is poor service and a insensitive, deaf service team.

Jim worked out a deal that I was extremely happy with, entire process took less than an hour. Brian in finance made the paperwork easy to understand and answered any questions I had. Justin was my service manager and took incredible care of me. I switched from another Hyundai dealership because I am working from home and Chapman is a lot more convenient now. I was concerned about switching after establishing a good relationship with the other dealership. Justin took great care of me. I noticed my skid plate had come almost completely off after getting work done. It may or may not have been related to the work that was done before. Regardless, Justin took care of it quickly and free of charge. I am super grateful to him.
It was my first time, my Sonata was due for oil change & I tried to schedule a service then found an opening.My only concern was 90 minutes waiting to get it done, but everything was done.Thanks for Nick for a great service.
Took my Tucson in for a recall first at a different Hyundai dealership and was told they didnt have the part. They would call me later but weeks went by and I didnt hear anything back so I tried Chapman and it was easy to schedule and I love that they offer the online tracking for services. I had my car back within 24 hours
In my experience, these folks do not waste your time, as they did not waste mine! Josh, Chad, Mark, and Brian all worked together in what I thought was going to be an extremely rough deal, but these four made it one of the most easy and pleasant experiences I have had. This is only my second new vehicle in my lifetime, and they made it an absolute treat from start to finish. I will surely be a repeat customer in the future.

Bought a Hyundai from Jonathon today. I dont usually leave reviews, but he was so great that I had to! The process was pain free thanks to him (low pressure, let me drive the car as I pleased on the test drive, friendly chit chat), we had a lot of fun. From start to finish it was easy and he didnt insist on adding a million extra things to add up the price like most dealerships. If you go here, make sure to ask for Jonathon as your salesman!
STAY AWAY from the Service Department! Typical dealership shenanigans going on here. We got a recall notice from Hyundai so we took our car to Chapman. They claimed that our car did not need the recall work (which I don’t even believe), but they had no problem finding a couple hundred dollars worth of other work that just HAD to be done.Once we got the car home our wiper fluid immediately started leaking all over the garage floor. IMMEDIATELY. We had never had any issue with the wiper fluid before taking the car to Chapman. We called back and told them what happened, and the first available appointment to “take a look” was another 10 days away. When we finally got the car back to them, they told us the wiper fluid pump was cracked and they didn’t have the part. But they said they could order it and do the work for another $400. Keep in mind *they broke it* AND it’s a $25 part!We tried to get them to acknowledge that it was their responsibility and took it up to the Customer Relations Manager who spoke to the technician who somehow seems certain that there’s no way he accidentally cracked our wiper pump even though he worked on the car two weeks ago and let’s be honest no one is ever going to admit to that anyway. But the service manager refuses to do anything.Like I said - STAY AWAY. From what we’ve seen, this dealership won’t perform mandatory recalls that would be paid by Hyundai, conveniently find issues to charge the customer hundreds of dollars for, and also BREAK YOUR CAR AND REFUSE TO FIX IT.
Needed a new vehicle after mine was a total loss after a rear end accident. After checking various car websites I saw that there was a vehicle that was almost a complete match of my poor Hyundai Tucson that was crunched. I arrived at Chapman Scottsdale Hyundai around 8 pm to try and get a test drive. I was met by salesman Dan M and he was able to let me drive around and check things out. I came back a couple days later and he helped me with the purchase, explaining everything I had a question about. It was a very easy transaction and Im pleased that I have a similar SUV to the one I lost. Thank you Dan and all the rest of the employees at Chapman Scottsdale Hyundai.
An incredible surprising experience. The biggest surprise was no surprise just outstanding customer service. Worked with Shawn who is in addition to being knowledgeable was extremely patient with us explaining everything from the vehicle to all the offers and incentives. Shawn has reached out to us days after the sale to see if we had any questions or concerns which we find to be going above and beyond. Another surprise was the credit manager Caleb who also explained all financing details to us in simple terms (spot on) including any extended warranty with zero hard sells. Chapman also had the vehicle that we wanted. As a senior, I have had a number of new and certified car purchases ranging from good to absolutely awful however this is the first exceptional new car purchase. Easy to get used to.
The absolute worst communication with the service department. I paid for the parts to get my car fixed about 2 months ago. They do not call to update me, I have to call them. Ive been given 3 different dates of when my car can get fixed. The latest date was September 27th and I waited but never received and update. I made a complain about the person working with me but obviously nothing has changed. Do not go here!

Excellent service!! I dropped off my car the night before. I received a text first thing in the morning and was able to easily communicate with the service department. My car was ready on time, and Nick was friendly and helpful! I’m so glad I decided to go a little bit out of my way. I had been going to another dealership for the past 4 years because it’s 5 minutes away from home, and I was NEVER happy with the service I received. I will always go to Chapman from now on!

Called to get a diagnostics test done. Was told by one person it would take 2 days to do. I explained to the lady I cant leave my car for 2 days I have no other ride. So she transferred me to talk to a service guy and he then told me no they will need to keep my car for 8 days. I asked just for a diagnostics test? He said yes. Not sure what happened but then I told him thats Impossible I dont have another ride. I called and asked another place about a diagnostics test and they said it shouldnt take more than a day maybe 2 at most. I felt like hyundai of scottsdale didnt want to deal with me and thats why they told me wrong. S NOT GOING THERE EVER AGAIN.

Chad was terrific. He orchestrated my 15,000 mile checkup. His crew found several other matters that required fixing. An AC leak, After 9 years, I finally needed four new tires. Etc. But I must say, I am always pleased with the fine service I have received when I go to this dealership for my regular checkups or otherwise. I highly recommend Chapman Hyundai.
I would only deduct stars because I felt I was lied to when I was coming in one a day to sign for a car I already wanted. I was told they already sold the car 30 minutes before I got there, but in reality it was sold over the weekend and I was never told just to get me to go in the dealership. I ended up going to Automation instead. That aside the service itself was good, but that one thing was what caused me to drive down to Tempe and give my business to another dealership.
Lead times were 2-3 days which was acceptable considering the other dealerships in the valley were weeks out. The services were very expensive but at least performed well. My real issue was the lack of communication through out the process. I was told my service rep would call me multiple times but he never did. I had to keep calling.They could also do a better job at explaining what work actually needs to be done. My AC compressor needed to be replaced, but I did not know that until i finally got a hold of the rep. It was listed as a recommendation on the inspection report.
I have been to many dealerships since I moved to Arizona. This experience was the best experience I’ve ever had. Everything went very smooth and John Reagan was an AWESOME SALESMAN. Thank you all so much for the great customer service it truly meant a lot to me I LOVE MY INFINITI QX30. When my son and husband are ready to purchase cars we will be back. Overall the service center is good. I feel I was charged $150 for a service that was not needed and did not get and adequate explanation for the problem. They just said the engine was designed to shut down while you are accelerating in oncoming traffic..

Their staff, facility, and approach to sales were all superior to other peer dealers. I recommend them, and I will be a repeat customer. So, I have been new car shopping for a few months now. I am mostly looking at Subaru and Toyota but wanted to stop and look at some Hyundai products too. I was partnered with the sales rep Julie and I just gotta say she was amazing. Most of the time, when you go into a car dealership there are sleazy car salesman who pressure you to buy then n there. I walked in and made myself clear that I was just looking. Julie took the time to get to know me, to thoroughly understand my concerns and needs, and she spent hours with me talking about what I wanted and how I could best achieve those goals.I was never spammed or called often after either. Julie followed up with me when I asked her too and was prompt in getting me answers. Unfortunately I lost my job, due to Covid downsizing, and cant get approved for financing at this time. However, when I can I plan to only work with Julie. I just felt comfortable working with her and trust her as a salesperson.

The reason Chapman Hyundai gets a 5 is salesperson Julie Schrader (and manager Jim Deschener... I can’t tell you how many frustrating, dishonest and disappointing experiences I’ve had with other car dealers). Julie was honest, responsive, helped us do everything online or by phone (we are 2-hours from PHX and DO NOT want to drive there, especially this time of year). Julie delivered the car to our home and spent time going through how to operate and program the thing. Truly stupendous.
If youre looking for a car dealership that does not listen to its customers and gets upset because you decide to go to another dealership, then look no further. Stay clear of a salesman by the name of Donald if things are not transpiring his way, he will throw a temper tantrum and not act professional like a salesman should. Ive never received this level of dissatisfaction from a dealership in my life and honestly you should stay clear of a dealership that conducts themselves in such fashion. I would avoid this place like the plague. I went in to look at a specific vehicle they had. It was not a Hyundai brand. It was used vehicle. We went into into the negotiations; talk numbers. They were not willing to sell us the vehicle at what we wanted. The guy was talking about loosing money and what not but, in my mind they are already loosing money the car has been in their hands close to 2 1/2months just sitting there. It was my first stop looking at cars for the day so I told the guy that was helping me I was not interested as i got other cars to look at. He then started to be rude as if I offended him.As of now I seen they raised the price even further. Thank god I did not buy a vehicle from them. I bought brand new at a better price than what they were asking for used. Do your research and come prepared !

The service advisor consistently ignores my appointment time and puts my car to the back of the line so its the last car started every time. The service techs leave off skid plate bolts and have not once taken care of my car properly.
MY daughter bought her 1st car today age 21. And they were so awesome. They found her a better interest rate. 8.9 to 3.75... AMAZING... Also reactivated the car alarm.She also would have had to wait 2 days more for her car.. BUT again .... They went out of there way an brought her dinner and car to her job!!!!Thank you CHAMPMAN!!!! for treating my daughter like family.... I recently traded in my lovely 2017 Focus, which was my first car. Chad and Andres, the sales Managers that helped my get into a new 2021 Tucson Sport, not only made the experience pleasant, but it was probably the best car buying experience I’ve had. They made it hassle free, they knew their stuff, and I drove off the lot that night in a vehicle I love. Hyundai also has some of the best warrantees that come with a new vehicle.

It was time to purchase a new vehicle for my wife starting in June of 22 and all I was reading about in the news was the chip shortage. I thought it might be not only a challenge, but quite pricey. We discussed holding off for a year but then decided to give it a go and, if it didnt work, wed put things on pause. I began diligently researching vehicles. My wife currently had a small SUV and we have a small garage, and she preferred sticking with a similarly sized vehicle. I honed in on the newly re-designed Hyundai Tucson and was piqued that the new hybrid model had more power, was quieter, and got substantially better mileage than the convention ICE version. I started my quest. As is usually the case, several dealers that I contacted via either phone or internet were in the game playing business. They either wouldnt call me back (and then did weeks later) or they wanted me to come in to discuss the purchase without giving me the information that I needed. I finally made an appointment with a gentleman from Chapman Hyundai in Scottsdale as he had been the the best in answering my questions. As it turns out, we drove all the way to the dealership only to walk in and find out that the salesperson was busy with another client. We stood and waited, contemplating leaving (we werent even acknowledged by the salesperson we CONFIRMED the appt with just a few hours before) and our entire experience turned around in a flash with one Are you being helped? Her name is Julie Shrader and she ended up being so totally amazing that she not only made us forget about walking out, but ended up so engaged with my wife and I, showing us around the new Tucson, answering questions, helping us get on a list for a new one of my wifes liking (they had some enroute). We signed for a fair price and she kept us informed and engaged during the entire waiting process, was always available to answer questions, helped up pre-order a spare tire kit at a discount (the new hybrid model doesnt come with a spare...just an inflation kit, which is silly, IMO), was amazing during the delivery, explaining almost every feature to my wife and I, and was just, overall, the BEST, most helpful, and genuine auto salesperson that we have EVER had. Kudos, also, to the sales manager, Matt (when he said he wanted to make the process easy, he meant it, and it showed), the parts department for their friendly, helpful staff, the service manager, Mike, and the customer relations manager, Melissa (who called when I emailed her about how Julie saved the process and deserved recognition for doing so), who were all involved in this auto buying journey and made it painless and easy. I cannot more highly recommend Julie and this dealership if you are looking for a Hyundai. Amazing 5 Star experience once Julie got involved with us. Thanks, Julie, and Chapman Hyundai! Its a tough time to purchase a car during this semi-conductor chip shortage. Car prices are at all time high. My overall experience was positive. Initially when I called and inquired (30 mins prior to closing) the car I was told its in stock. I went the very next day at opening time. I was then told that the car was sold. I was surprised how it could have been sold within 30 mins after my inquiry. Nevertheless, on my way back someone called me back inside and went to check for this car and said it was available. I had a very great salesman - Jonathan Shelley. He was very honest, patient and very respectful. There were few dealer addons which were non-negotiable due to the current market. Matt sales manager was also very understanding and helpful. I gave one star because of few staff who were not pleasant to work with but I really recommend Jonathan Shelley if you are looking to buy a car in this dealership.
Great place, I bought my last two cars here and can’t imagine going anywhere else. Dan Mcaleer, my salesman, was incredibly helpful and got me into the car I wanted without any hassle. I was expecting to buy a used car but Dan found me a brand new 2021 Elantra in my price range. The warranty is also amazing, I can rest assured knowing when my car needs to be serviced I’ll be taken care of and it won’t cost me an arm and a leg.
Chapman Hyundai was the best to work with getting my new car last minute after my old ones transmission died. They even drove the car out to my home for me very late to make sure I received it on time for work the next day!! Highly recommend these guys!

Terrible service experience! Made an appointment for oil change and when I got there they told me the wait was 2-2:30 hours. There was no customer service rep to talk to and no general manager. The next guy pretend to be busy because it was noon and it looks like he was planning to leave. The middle guy they had me talk too was clueless and suggested I go to another dealership.. save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.
I went to Chapman Hyundai Scottsdale for maintenance servicing of my car. Nick was my service manager and was incredibly helpful. They updated me about recommended extra work that should be done on my car after a multi-point inspection. And also provided me with rides to and from my house. Excellent service team.
Great service and staff. I drive about 40 miles out of my to have my Hyundai serviced here. Staff is friendly, attentive, and make sure my questions are answered. Very nice facility to spend time in while you’re waiting on an oil change...coffee, WiFi, charge points, etc.
