The service was excellent with the cashier and one of the workers. When I needed a gocart to set she had me wait in the garden center where chairs were. I waited until she got back with the cart for me and she also gave me some water. There are no chairs in the automotive department I needed a chair right away because I cant walk far Im handicap
These guys are the kindest people. They are so happy and they also didnt make me feel how people at other wal-mart stores do.... Irritated and annoyed from them starring at me like what are you doing here! Auto center people awesome. Store people follow you like you are a thief.
A great experience got an oil change and four tires.The managers were exceptional especially the manager Michael thanks very much for the service 5 Stars!! The customer service in the Main store was a completely different story. I had to return a can spray paint, two packages of pastrys and get a refund for blueberries I paid for but dis not make home it took two hours and I had my receipt. I felt they A) did not trust me and made me feel that way. The thermo paper you use in your machines is a mess in the pheonix in the summer you cannot read them and the customer service employees had me doing all their they hate their jobs and it shows. They make you feel like they are refunding you their own personal money they make you uncomfortable and are very rude especially for their age one girl who was the rudess she was 21 at the oldest and Im 68 you would think they got no training at all. 1 Star!!
I placed an order online for tires and was even emailed that my tires had arrived and my appointment was at 6pm. Well, everything was great until I get there at 4:45PM, theres no one around the auto bay, the gates are all down and in stuck there since I was towed and the tow truck left. So I get inside and Im told that the guys all left and they close at 4:30pm, this is a weekday too. Well their web site says they close at 7:30pm. Then after all that headache they wouldnt have been able to install 24inxh tires, their machine only goes up to 22inches, but you are not given that info when you place your order, and why would they give me an install appointment. So thank you Walmart for the extra cost of the tow, since I had it towed there to start, now Im stranded and have to get a tow truck to another tire shop and guess what its almost 6 and the other shops are all closed. So thanks to Walmart I ended up paying $104 to have the tires installed at discount tire, another tow charge to discount tire cost me $150. Im never buying tires from Walmart again, what a joke, should of known its a dump.
I want to give a huge shout out to Lucas, a master service technician at the Auto Care Center. I arrived at the back entrance about a half hour before closing looking for a quote on two front tires. He not only gave me a great quote but also shared some knowledge about the things I should be looking out for since my Ford Fusion just hit the 100k mile mark. I will be going in tomorrow for an oil change while waiting to replace my tires in a few months per the technician’s recommendation. I really appreciated his honestly and kindness, rather than just going for the sale. Because of this person’s attitude and customer service I will be back. Thank you again Lucas!
Was in desperate need for new tires. Called, and taken the new limitations because of COVID, assistant manager Harim worked with our schedule and squeezed us in for an appointment right away. He told us 45 min wait; he had it done earlier than that! Excellent service.

I have been going here a long time. Til I had my brake lights come on the same day after oil change. Then car ran hot. They dont check your fluids. I thought thats what an oil cut includes. Fluids!! The people are rude and make it like your putting them out. Done with this plc. Losing a good customer. Spent a lot of$.
My husband got to this location 15 minutes prior to be opening. At 7 am (OPENING TIME) the employees were still trying to get ready to open, setting out their tools etc... He waited and watched as the manager then proceeded to pulled his personal vehicle in the bay and vacuum it and check the fluids. My husband is STILL waiting at his point. He waited until 7:25 a.m. and had not been acknowledged and asked what he needed. (A check of a leaky tire, under warranty). He never got service and had to go to another location.
They do good work as I have been here a few times. They REALLY need to work on their customer service skills and communication with each other. They clearly do not work as a team and are quick to blame each other for issues that could easily be resolved with a little bit of ownership. Probably will go elsewhere in the future, they werent able to return my key fob to me for a good 15 minutes. Tires and lube isnt this complicated!

Friendly and helpful staff. Quick enough time waiting for job. There was a line, but knowing what jobs they were doing. They were doing a good job of knocking the work out. Easily accessible from the freeway. Not a lot of street traffic, so turning in and out of the parking lot is not typically an issue. The auto center is behind the plant area.
Let me start off by saying it was not always like this but in recent months By far the worst experience ive had to date with any auto & tire company not only was the customer service bad at best but the over all attitude from start to finish was beyond
My Car needed urgent Care, and Walmart came to my mind. I was met by a middle aged technician who approached and asked me about problem which brought me over. I explained best understanding of Cars problem, was then signed in and soon on my way out with multiple checks on other parts of the car too.While waiting I had paid visit to pharmacy and couple of other Departments. They all have workers who are cordial and attentive. Company does not shy away from hiring both genders, nor do they avoid hiring based on employees National Origins, and when all said and done, let us face it, their prices are right too.
Came in at 8:30 for a balance check & was quoted 3hrs. Ended up being 5hrs by the time my car was done (& the issue was a bad tire). The manager Manny worked with me and was great. GIVE HIM A RAISE. The older gentleman, Glen, though was worthless. All he did when someone asked for an update on the wait time was Im back here at the counter, I dont know whats going on out there. Dont yell at me. He needs to retire or do something that doesnt have to do with customers.

Fast and friendly service. Was convenient as I went shopping in Walmart and my car was done before I got done shopping. They showed me the dipstick and went over what they did to the car. I will be back.
Certainly no thrills here but they get the job done in a timely manner. I had my oil and winshield wiper blades changed. Lot of people waiting in line but in 30 mins my car was ready. Took me longer to check out the the time waiting. Not a great experience but reasonable prices quick service not checkout. I would use them again.

This is my first ever Google review. We ran into Fonzi and his team due to an emergency. We were on vacation and our car broke down right in front of their Walmart Auto Care Center. We got the car to them about 30 minutes before closing time. The workers were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They were friendly and honest.Fonzi in particular was huge. He understood our situation and went way out of his way to take care of us and help us get back on the road. Again, he was honest, proactive, and went beyond our expectations.Because of their help, quick work and recommendations, we were able to get our car fixed and back on the road again the next day.When we were stranded with an entire family hundreds of miles from home, the guys at this Walmart Auto Care Center came to our rescue. In the future we will absolutely go to the Walmart Auto Center in our home town. And beyond the review, we just want to thank them for their help.
Honestly this whole center is awful but the service department has declined even further. The first time I had my oil changed here they put a 1 inch gouge in my fender but to cover themselves they argued and sided with the techs and service manager that my car was like that when I brought it in especially having an older car they just laughed it off and dont waste your time contacting the store manager because I still have yet to hear from them after a year, so DOCUMENT YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE THEY TOUCH IT, THEY WILL SCRATCH YOUR CAR AND LIE TO YOU,
5 stars for Manny! I came at a busy time and Manny helped me out, and kept calm and friendly amid the slew of customers bombarding him for help. He checked on me and gave us updates on my car. Give Manny a raise!!

Pay more for tires somewhere else. They will lie to you and say it will be done soon. You will be waiting all day. They should pay a higher wage to attract employees or really close this department if they are not staffed to handle demand.
Yikes. Needed 4 new tires put on, showed up at 7am, told the woman working the counter what I needed. I was told I had to wait for 2 techs to show up before I could hand over my keys. One showed up at 7:20, then at 8am Im told the other wasnt scheduled until 9am. Had to go to work, came back on my lunch break to drop off my car. Picked it up at 6pm and the TPMS wasnt reading any of the tires. They find out a sensor was broken and try to blame me for it. They agree to look at it to see if it was damaged by them. Its now past 7pm (their closing time) and my car is still sitting in the parking lot while they finish a fun sounding chat, also making the older man at the auto counter stay until theyre finished with my car. They replace the sensor but TPMS still doesnt read any of the tires and Im left with they dont have the equipment to retrain it, that I need to take it to the dealership. Avoid this place like the plague.

Whoever the Native American/Spanish Woman up front, she is terrible at her job. Stood in line for 22 minutes with 2 others and she was only able to help one person during that time. She could not do her job so she had to get a Mechanic off the line to come in to do her job. She should start applying for a McDonalds job elsewhere.

First off, Im very skeptical about bringing my car anywhere. Im a mechanic and do all my work myself as well as keep my car immaculate. I got a flat right in walmart parking lot on a Sunday and was in a bind. I went to their auto service section and the first thing I noticed was how friendly and attentive the manager was. He was able to get my car right in to put a new tire on for an extremely good price. I watched the mechanic wash his hands and put a mat down on the seat before he got in my car. This showed me that they obviously care about their customers and their vehicles. My wheels are also plastidipped, so I was aware that the coating might get a little ruined by the tire machine. However, the mechanic was very careful and only a little part of the edge of the wheel pulled up (hes a mechanic not a magician) which I was very happy about. I was extremely pleased with their service. Thank you!

To begin with we had been taking our car in for service here with the oil changes. Ended up getting the oil drain plug rounded off having to take to a full service shop. They had multiple issues finding my records to begin with yesterday I asked for the manager he wasnt there which was around 3p.m. The guy assisting us seemed to be getting frustrated and said he would have the manager call me the next day to get to the bottom of the issue. So I was trying to get things resolved since I took my car to Sun Devil auto service to get the drain plug fixed (which by the way is cheaper for oil changes and fast service). I tried to contact the manger at 2:57p.m, 3:47p.m, 4:22p.m, 4:29p.m and each time I got told to hold and waited on the phone for 5-7mins each time when I asked for the manager each time I called I was told he was busy at the moment then told oh hes at lunch he will call you back when he gets back or he just went to lunch the times I was told he was at lunch was at 2:57p.m and at 4:22p.m at 4:22 they told me he just went to lunch at 4p.m so they were just giving the runaround. Finally called again at 5:23 and the manager was in spoke with him and didnt really seem to care much about the issue so in the end customer service isnt great with them and wasted my time telling me to call back. Wont be using their auto services here anymore definitely will be going to Sun Devil auto service.
Dissatisfied with my car servicing here. Came to get a nail removed from my tire and patched. I asked the employee to call me if they needed to replace the tire so we could talk prices. Dropped my car off at 9am and it wasnt ready until after 4pm. Never received a call so I assumed that they were able to patch the tire, until I paid and had to pay for a new tire. Will not be coming here again for another service. Not even a simple oil change.

I have been coming to this location for almost a year and never had any issues. Today, I am beyond livid. I just left from getting my oil change as I usually do. I walked in the auto center at 10:09am. It is now 11: 49 am as I type this. I walked around the walmart store for over an hour thinking maybe they were busy or short staffed. Finally at 11 35 I decided to go see what going on. One of the mechanics asked me what vehicle I was waiting on and he advised me my car has been completed. I said no announcement was made over the intercom. The guy who was working the register says o they snuck paperwork in on me . Pretty much he was not paying attention. So you mean to tell me I walked and sat around walmart for over an hour after my vehicle was completed and not notified! My paperwork shows I walked in at 10:09 AM and my service was done at 10:41 am. I will seek my auto services elsewhere! No apology or anything was offered.
I have used this location for my oil changes for over 5 visits. First I want to say the guys at the front desk and the people in general are pretty friendly and the service was always very quick. Unfortunately, on my last visit they said that they broke the tool to remove the oil filter because it was over-torqued from the last service. Notes said to take it back to the provider that serviced it last!! It was them for the life of my vehicle!! (The only reason Im leaving a negative post) So I took it to a different Wal-Mart(Mesa) and the same thing happened, they even showed me the broken tool.. They said the same thing.. I am now at a family owned mom and pop shop and have found all my filters are filthy which were were supposed to be checked by a Wal-Mart technician.
Called ahead to find out the busy times as too avoid them. Arrived at 11 am they took my information and car and told me they would call when they are done. I walk to Wendys to eat. An hour goes by...no call. I walk back. Different guy at the register goes, oh, they cancelled it because they didnt have your filter. No call to my phone...no heads up...worthless.
