I have been looking to rent a camera body and lens for some family photoshoot requests I have coming up. I was looking to rent a Canon Mark III 5D and a Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens for 3 days. I found places that ship the equipment to you. The cost was always around $200-$250 with shipping but I really wanted to rent locally. I found MP&E and requested a quote ... $650. That is an absolutely insane amount! Im sure theyre great for large productions, but if youre just working on a small project make sure you do your research.

Very knowledgeable rental house with a lot of great options. Really happy with the way our rental gear pickup went, as well as the gear itself. One of the best-kept rental houses out there.
