If I could give it a zero I would. Not one thing came out right at this place. Waited one hour for appetizers (artichoke dip & charcuterie) dip was obviously frozen & microwaved. We sent the board back as it literally had a few pieces of old meat & 3 pieces of cheese & weird cold sausage bits. The owner said “oh ya things are just really getting expensive nowadays” when I commented on the food. Shocked. We ordered fish & chips for our main & got frozen fish patties. I’ve literally never seen this poor quality of food before. Everything was a disaster. The manager yelled at our waitress bc she too commented on the charcuterie board, saying it looked really sad & poorly put together. Management said that all the cooks & waiters walked out & the person cooking in the back wasn’t experienced basically.Would never ever go back. The food was disgusting. And the management is really not fit to run a restaurant. Can’t serve fish sticks from Walmart. I wish I would have taken more photos…

Holy cow. Im not a big fan of wine but the food here was absolutely incredible. If you dont normally get dessert you should make an exception this time, the peanut butter bomb definitely changed my for a few minutes

Service was poor which was embarrassing since we had out of town guests. Since we were a late dinner, all they wanted is to get us out of there. Food was fair. Always had liked it but with so many other good restaurants nearby not coming back anytime soon.

Excellent food. Possibly the best tuna poke Ive eaten anywhere. Unfortunately, the portion was quite small. My husband and I shared it. Next time Ill order my own! On the other hand, the roasted brussel sprouts was a very substantial portion and was also outstanding. Recommend both appetizers. Were planning to go back soon!

Nice outdoor patio and food was good. Manager Todd was great. Really dead on a Saturday night. Time to bring live music back. Michele says “Make Joan Rivers proud and get that needed facelift.”

Good, and worth a visit to try it for your own opinion. Décor wont win any awards, but the outside seating might. Wine selection may really interest you and if you go at happy hour they drop the price of a bottle by $8. Some things like potato chips for ten dollars are silly, home made or not. But the food is good, maybe a few dollars high compared to the competition. Again, if you play the happy hour game it becomes a good deal. Service was OK, nothing special. Parking not great, and overall this place is a bit out of the way from town. But on a nice late afternoon, sitting outside, great wine choices...it may just what you want.

We had made a reservation for 5 people at 5pm on a Saturday evening. Because it was early there were hardly any people there yet. There was confusion about where to seat us. The host said to follow him but then there was a discussion between the host and two servers while were standing there. Awkward. It wasnt busy and this left the impression of being unprepared and unprofessional. As the one who suggested this restaurant it made me feel uncomfortable.The atmosphere is very good. Lovely interior. Server was good but mixed up the cocktail orders. Luckily the food came out and was very good. We had the fish and chips, the meatloaf, pulled pork and Ahi. All said it was very good.A nice evening and I would return.

Live in the neighborhood, and hadnt been in awhile.....disappointed to find it was just OK. Food is average bar food, but they DO have a very nice dog-friendly patio, so....theres that.To-go boxes were STYROFOAM!! UGH!! Come on, R&W, please try to be more environmentally aware for the few younger customers who are in your area. PLEASE use biodegradable/recyclable cardboard to-gos!

We had the french onion dumplings, Brussels sprouts salad, and beef Bolognese pasta and all were very good! Service was very friendly! What blew it all out of the water was the better than sex salted caramel martini. Unfortunately I had the last one. If you live in/around Phoenix, beg for them to bring it back!!!

My wife and I are new to Phoenix and have been to Rhythm and Wine twice now. This visit was a casual happy hour visit and we sat on the patio. The Happy Hour menu and specials are very good. Do yourself a favor and have the deviled eggs. Service was attentive and friendly.

My wife and I had lunch there today - our first visit and we used a BOGO coupon for one of the lunch entrees. It took some minutes before we could order - and the order took 25+ minutes to bring to the table. My fish and chips for $15 were the worst I have ever had - the three fish sticks were way over cooked and the fries were the warm ends of what was left in the fryer. My wife had a burger for $12 - the meat was tasty and fresh, the bun was way oversize and crumbled apart after a couple of bites. The wine glass pours were listed as 6 oz. but were closer to five in the glass. We will not be returning - it was worth a try but very disappointing compared to other places in NE Scottsdale where the food is less pricey but much better.

It is a super cute restaurant. Loved the upside down hanging lamps! The food was a bit average. The meatloaf was not tasty and the mashed potatoes were crumbly not creamy. The patio was nice though and it was great that it was dog friendly.

We sat on the patio for a nice evening. The wine selections were nice. We were disappointed in the meat and cheese board. I recommend checking out the offerings on the boards at the Rind in Sacramento for some improvements.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants until last night. We ordered off the happy hour menu & salads at 5:40, by 6:18 our food still hasnt arrived. Our server was rarely to be seen & her explanation for the delay was that they were busy in the kitchen. They werent busy when we got there and ordered, it got busy after that.When our food arrived it was cold and lettuce was wilted. I never did get a refill on my drink and getting our checks & having them picked up was another ordeal (even though we had told them we needed to be somewhere at 7:00)That in itself up until now had just resulted in a bad tip for our server.What has prompted this scathing review is the food poisoning that came at 9:30 pm.!!!There is just no excuse for what used to be a fine restaurant to fall so low! I blame the management in their inability to train their servers & cooks properly. To serve spoiled food to your guests who actually pay money for it is inexcusable.My next action will be contacting the state to have the place inspected.Warning, do not eat at this restaurant!!!

Long wait to be served and get our food, but the food was worth the wait. 9 of us all enjoyed our meals. A little disappointed we missed live music (we arrived at 6:00 and left at7:30.). Very nice waitress.EDIT: one-person bathrooms?! Really?

Ordered the chicken breast sandwich, the chicken was tiny cut up pieces of chicken, some of the pieces were hard and not like chicken meat. The sandwich was not even warm, there were two other customers so its not like they were busy. It also had an overpowering taste of pesto, really strong to the point I couldnt eat the sandwich, between the little tiny chicken pieces the size of peas and the horrible strong pesto this was something that could not be eaten. The potato chip were really good but not worth $12.They also post the time they open at the front door, but they are closed at the posted hours. More than one time we have gone on Sunday which the sign says they are open but they are closed.

I really enjoyed the fabulous atmosphere, including the live music by Mitch Harrell. We had the bruchetta trio which was superb! The salmon was excellent, and the fig jam/apple/brie was great too. I cant remember the third but it was also good. Oh, it was bacona and arugula. Cant go wrong there. We also had a really fresh salad - the Scottsdale superior salad with too many things to list but it was scrumptious! We will definitely be going back!

Thw dishes were average at best. The tuna poke ingredients were all mixed together into a mushy paste...not appealing. The flatiron steak had a canned sauce, and the asparagus should have the woody ends cut off. The salmon nicoise salad was ok as well as the hippie chips. I will probably not visit this establishment again. Disappointed...

They catered a wonderful dinner for us. I highly recommend them for catering or having snacks and wine on the back patio. Jordan was amazing to work with.

I have been going to this restaurant for a number of years and it was always my favorite here in the valley. Today was the ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! We had a waitress who really seemed to have no idea what she as doing, had no listening skills, was very unattentive and actually quite rude and unprofessional. (Young with dark hair - RUN FOREST RUN!) First she got my sons order wrong, then didnt listen to our 2 Hippie Chips order with an extra dip and brought three complete order of the chips, brought me a wine to taste which was really barely even a taste as it hardly covered the bottom of the glass. Didnt care for this wine and asked to try a different one. This tasting was more reasonable in quantity, however because they had changed the wine list I really didnt care for it. When I asked for tasting #3 the waitress decided she needed to bring the manager over because I had asked for a different tasting. I found this extremely offensive as if I didnt know anything about wine:( Last time I checked this is a wine bar/restaurant, in my opinion these requests were not out of the ordinary. I felt the waitress seemed put out by the fact that I was requesting tastings and she continued to pressure me to purchase a full glass without the tasting I had requested. The manager then brought me the tasting #3 I requested in addition to one other one I hadnt requested. When the waitress came back I asked her for full glass of the one I had requested. When I did she proceeded to put her hands inside both of the tasting glasses in front of me that I was not done with and then spilled them all over me and my other son. At that point I got up and asked for another waitress! When the bill for the four of us came to my surprise they hadnt comped so much as a glass of wine, appetizer or desert for all of the inconvenience, unprofessionalism, incorrect orders or spilling the wine on two of us.. Quite honestly it was very shocking to say the least. This has been my favorite restaurant for many years, but after tonights experience I highly doubt I will ever go back:( VERY DISAPPOINTING and would no longer recommend this place. Not too mention the changes to the food and wine menus were a complete disappointment as well.

Used to be great, then they got arrogant. Raised the prices, took some favorite dishes off the menu, hired snooty servers and raised the prices again. I have tried to like this place again, but gave up. Apparently enough people dont care about the value adjustments as they seem to often have a crowd. I just dont see why, unless they get excited about paying a 3x markup on a bottle of wine from Costco, delivered by an ambivalent server, with predictable (yet overpriced) food.

Went here for a kind of celebration on a mid afternoon weekday. Very clean and nice restaurant. The manager on duty and the servers were very friendly and accomodating. We tried a bunch of food items, cheese plates, paninis, a couple of salads, pizza and some desserts. Everyone agreed the food was tasty, a little high priced but again, it was good. Several of us had draft beers and they were only $4.50 per glass, not bad at all.The wine, though - wow. On the one hand, I get it, I truly do. Keeping a nice place open is expensive and there are a lot of costs involved - but just ...wow. Nine ounce serving of The Prisoner Red Blend, $25. Assuming you can get six glasses out of a 750 ml bottle they are getting $150 from that bottle and I can buy that very same bottle at Total Wine for $35.99. One celebratory bottle of Veuve Clicquot Brut, $128; again, at Total Wine this is $44.97. I GET IT - I didnt go to Total Wine, I went to a nice restaurant and they served us, and running a restaurant is expensive - but on the other hand there is reasonable and there is unreasonable markup. Unlikely to return.

The hostess tried to seat us at an inferior table which I refused, only to be told that all the other tables (7 empty tables in the center) were reserved. Absolutute BS. Only one table filled before we left. If you want to be treated well, save yourself the trip and go to one of the many other restaurants in the area. No wonder they cant fill the place. They treat people as though they are the only restaurant in town. Get over it Rhythm & Wine, you ll be out of business soon enough. People in North Scottsdale dont take kindly to being treated as though they do not matter! The food you serve doesnt matter with that kind of treatment.

The food was good but I was disappointed in the portion size. My meal (fish and chips) was meager in comparison to my companions plates that fell in the same price class. The waiter we had also informed us that our card was declined when in fact the bank records showed the charge did go through and was reversed but the funds were held until that process was reversed. It was disappointing. We will not be returning.

They redid the menu and the layout of the restaurant. Happy hour menu is a mini-size version of some of their delicious menu items. Try the mussels and the bruschetta!

Just had Mothers Day Brunch here and it was so poor, I was embarrassed when my son picked up the tab for a meal that looked like it had been catered by a second party. Couldnt believe it. Then a 19 percent gratuity added to serve ourselves. My husband who had just had a melanoma surgery on his face, had the umbrella removed to shade the chef and his family who required four sun shades. I cannot tell you how unhappy I am right now. Will never visit this place again. Its really gone downhill.

My wife and I dined at your restaurant on Saturday evening, 05/26, and we were completely satisfied with food, decor and service - especially the service.We learned of your place via a Google coupon. By chance, we were able to enjoy the wine samples offered that evening. After catching a quick buzz, we got down to business. Our dinner consisted of the Almond Plate (loved the dried cherries), Bruschetta - tomato, mozzarella and basil pesto was outstanding!, California Pizza was excellent, and capped off the meal with the dessert fondue and coffee. Im afraid Bloomberg would put you on the no dine list in NYC for this offering!!!Our waiter was John C. He was very knowledgeable, personable and attentive to our table - EXCELLENT service!We especially liked the Johnny Cash and Rolling Stones influence in your decor.Thank you for a great dining experience.
