After unsuccessfully trying to find a custom hood builder, I was giving up hope. Then, by chance, I found Artistic Alloys. After speaking with Scott and going over designs, he sent me a rendering that I fell in love with. He was able to take the elements of my kitchen and incorporate them into the design and color perfectly.His craftsmanship is nothing short of amazing. Pefection! What can we say about Scott and Artistic Alloys? They are an amazing team of true artists. We first met Scott when he was brought on by a designer to create a custom range hood for us. Calling it a Range Hood doesnt do it the justice it deserves. It is truly a piece of art. We were so amazed at their work that we asked Scott to make us a one-off custom front door. The design he came up with is so stunning that other door people have asked us where it came from. The materials, craftsmanship, design and attention to detail rival anything I have ever seen. We are literally looking for more thing to have them create for us - their work is like adding functional art to our home.

I had a project in mind for many years but it was a bit of a challenge finding someone capable of taking it on but then I found Scott and his team. The project in question was a large custom designed out door barbecue island cover constructed entirely of steel with an aluminum roof using only 2 main support posts instead of the typical 4 posts. Well to say that Scott and his team came through is an understatement, we couldnt be happier and the final product is amazing. Scott and his team paid extra special attention to detail making sure we got the exact product we were expecting even exceeding our expectations. We would highly recommend Scott and his crew for work involving steel design and fabrication. They created a set of steel doors to hold stained glass for a church in Scottsdale as part of a sanctuary renovation and they did a superb job. Scott was willing to give his creative and artistic energies to our project, exceeding our expectations in the design and craftsmanship of his work. AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU JUST WANT TO BE OUT MONEY WITH NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT!! In April 2016, I spoke with Scott on the phone to hire him to do a custom piece on my kitchen hood. He told me he could have the piece done in my 3 week timeframe but would not come out to the jobsite to measure unless he had 50% down. I gave him my Visa number on May 11th which he charged $1,710.....MISTAKE! Scott has NEVER come out nor returned any of my phone calls. He responded to some emails promising he would call and come out but I got nothing!THREE MONTHS LATER.....Finally, last week I left a stern message and Scott called. I asked for a refund and he said...Wait....I can come out this week and have the piece ready in 9 days. I said I was tired of trying to manage him and just wanted a refund. He agreed. I gave him my Visa # again. Its been 9 days and he still hasnt provided a refund!! Im beyond frustrated! Now I have to involve the FTC since he is committing fraud, never planned on providing the product promised and has not refunded my money!UPDATE - Money was refunded.2nd UPDATE - WOW! Just saw the owners response which I had missed. I live in North Scottsdale and the reason I had to pay the 50% down was to have SCOTT DRIVE OUT TO ME to do the measuring. He no showed for the appointment and would not respond to me. I am 25 min from his location. He held our money for over 3 months without doing a thing. Would you want the same experience??
