The office Manager Kale and the worker Jon were both very generous with me and I felt that their concern for my vehicle was genuine. When u walk into these places u feel like everyone just wants to get over on you, but Kale and Jon both explained what my situation was and we reached a genuine decision about what needed to be done. Great service from manager and staff, Cale was great- no BS or up-selling. My job allows me very little free time to service my car. I called 2pm on a Monday for a quote on pads and rotors. They told me I could come same-day on my break. Dropped my car off, picked it up after work. Could not be more convenient. Be aware that the prices you see do not include labor but the labor was very fair, no complaints. Everybody was very knowledgeable and did a great job. Will definitely keep bringing my car to this Mavis.

I went to this place after I had gotten a flat tire for the first time. Being this my first ever experience, I was so nervous, rattled, and confused. However, the team did a wonderful job at explaining things to me and even made room to help change my flat tire despite their busy schedule! Weve had good experiences with this Mavis location. My husband dealt with Frank for the purchase of tires for his RAM 2500 and I recently dealt with Cale for brake system repair work on my Chrysler sedan. We received great customer service for both visits. Cale made to to clearly explain the needed repairs and pricing. I have no reservations in recommending this Mavis location.

Had a slow leak in a tire and took it over to Frank. They found a nail and I decided that it was a good time to just replace all four tires. Ordered a specific tire on Friday. They had it there by Saturday when other shops told me next week. They changed tire within minutes. While also providing excellent customer service and hospitality. Frank and John answered every question I had and were extremely efficient at there jobs. Found a new place for all my cars services and highly recommend anybody to take there vehicles there as well.

After several mishaps at another Mavis facility i decided to bring my car to another location where a very patient, knowledgeable, and just over all great employee with great customer service skills by the name of Cale helped resolve my issues and fix the mistakes made by the other facility. He went above and beyond his job title and even was able to deal with my not so nice attitude (which i did apologize)

I went for tires at mavis in Scranton. The manager Frank was very polite and courteous. He only had one worker, but took my car in immediately so I wouldn’t have to wait. I was in and out in an hour. I will be bringing my Nissan back for tires in a few days.

I was on vacation with my kids and just passing through the area going to upstate NY. Then my car broke down on the PA Turnpike 60 miles outside of Scranton. The tow truck driver recommended Mavis and Im so glad he did. Cale was very professional and determined to get us back on the road as soon as possible, despite being swamped with other customers and short on staff. He managed to have my car diagnosed, have parts ordered and delivered, and be repaired and ready to go in 5 HOURS!! Even knowing that we wouldnt be regular customers since we live in Virginia, Cale still went the extra mile and Im so grateful he saved our trip.

I was at the Dickson City store sunday September 5 the manager frank told me he could not do my work or get parts for me don’t get me wrong it’s a good place and they were friendly when I got my tires and alignment done on Saturday the 4th of September but when my rear shock went threw my trunk Sunday they said they couldn’t do it I was bout to go back home but instead I went to the store on market street Scranton they got the parts and got my car in and done they were very nice to me but u never turn down a customer cause Dickson could of did it if market street did it thank u market street store u will have my business again

I am very dis- pleased with the service that I’ve gotten from this place. I’m actually wondering why is it still open after looking at the reviews. I made an appointment for today. And decided to drop my car off early to ensure that I would get it back the same day. The female store manager that I spoke to I informed that I had my own parts before making the appointment. I arrived this morning at the store a few minutes after they opened to be told by the guy there that they don’t use customers part. If that was the case I should have been told that yesterday when I scheduled the appointment for today. I took an entire unpaid day off work to entire that I would be able to get my vehicle back in a timely fashion. So not only am I losing money but now I’m also stressed because I have to find another place to see if they would be able to see me today and do this work. We are living in some hard times especially with a lot of us being out of work or just returning to work due to Covid and these corporations needs to do a better of or communicating and providing excellent customer service. I only make to this particular place because I had the same work done on my vehicle yesterday ago on the same car.

So now I have to write a review because Mavis decided to erase and block my boyfriends last review. So professional of them....Mavis is unprofessional and does not have good employees. My boyfriend brought his car to Mavis to get a problem fixed in his car, due to hearing a type noise coming from his car(believe it was the tube behind his engine was broke). It was supposedly fixed but then not long after the noise came back and it was brought back for the same problem, and both times they said it was “fixed” it wasn’t fixed correctly at all. The same problem has come back again so this would be the third time the same problem with his car. the lady who worked on his car the first time didn’t do the job correctly or complete it fully. When the car was brought back in the second time, the lady notice who my boyfriend was decided to hid in the back. Mavis should not be in business. The work is done so bad we want to Sue them for the money back.

It was a pleasure dealing with mavis and the employees are very kind.. went there for brakes and assumed rotors as well.. although the estimate was much cheaper then other estimates i recieved I still wanted to cry.. the employee stated he can knock $60 off which of course made me feel better and sure enough the job was done in a timely manner. People are great, service was great, a positive and helpful atmosphere in that building for sure!

If I can add the videos I would but it’s not option so here’s screenshots . I came in the other day and notice something weird about the guy who works there . He seems to be recording everything and everyone including myself . I asked a friend if they know him and he said yes but not the well and that his name is Jeremiah Gilmore and showed me his Facebook page which is bird Miha miah and there he is recording everything at mavis tire without anyone’s permission which is very illegal in PA . As well as posting people’s information from their paperwork ! I don’t have any issues with this place but please notice your employee is making the environment uncomfortable recording everything and everyone . Hope you guys solve this issue or someone can report him .

Worst place I’ve ever been too. I went to get my brakes done. They then called me and tried to tell me both of my front calipers were seized up and turn a simple brake job into a 500 dollar bill. They lie and swindle people. Btw I did my brakes myself and guess what neither of them were seized. Don’t ever go here unless you want to be robbed for ever cents you have.

I mean I would have rated this alot more considering my experience was very good until they were done with my 4 new tires and I get back in my car to leave and notice Im missing 2 packs of smokes out of my carton that I literally just bought before coming there! A carton of smokes has 10 packs I gave one to my wife for work and I had one and now theres 2 packs missing and nowhere to be found once I left...sorry not sorry but thats some grimy business there. We are dropping alot of money already and you have one of your mechanics doing this kind of stuff!? Not cool at all!

Had an appointment to have my car inspected. Came about 15 minutes early and was told that there was a 3 hour wait and waiting rooms were closed. I said, okay I’ll be back in 3 hours and was told then I would be put at the back of the line for any new vehicles that arrived. WHY EVEN SCHEDULE Appointments! Site should read First Come First Serve! It should also indicate that waiting area is closed! I had used MAVIS [not this location as my location is temporarily closed] for many years! I won’t be back!
