Do not recommend doing business with them. I was initially talking to Vinny Santos about purchasing a vehicle at their dealership. Vinny was very sweet and professional, but he went on vacation the day after we started the process. I was then told by him that his “friend”/ colleague would finish the process for me so we set up an appointment with his colleague. I was told to come to the dealership, select a vehicle and ask for a loan from the bank. Once I made it to the appointment I initially had the feeling of not being welcomed there. His colleague not only didn’t take me out to the lot to pick a vehicle, but he leaves me sitting at his desk for 30 mins starting at the walls to come back and say “sorry we couldn’t get you approved for anything”. I felt like I wasted my time and had my credit hurt by him applying for loans without my consent. I will never return there again and strongly recommend that nobody does either. Gladly the very next day I found a dealership who worked with me and I successfully was able to purchase a vehicle!

There are some good people at this dealership, but their back office leaves much to be desired. On three separate occasions they have mis-stated my county of residence on paperwork submitted to PADOT, which has caused me issues in correcting THEIR error. I will not do business with them again.We were also, and this was pre-COVID, left to wait for THREE HOURS without explanation while my vehicle was serviced, a simple oil change and inspection. I did not return to them since the onset of COVID protocols, as waiting for that length of time would be extremely uncomfortable, to say the least. Consequently, I am less than impressed with their service department. (The issue, I later learned, was a malfunction of their oil refilling equipment - good grief! somebody run down the street and purchase the five quarts needed to complete my service! - no initiative!)Too many bad experiences to recommend this dealer.

I do not recommend bringing your car for service at Dickson City Hyundai. I brought car in for an issue with brakes. They said it needed a new axle, so I had them replace the axle for $1,200. The problem remained identical. Then they said, well lets replace some of the brake components. Another $600. Still same issue remained.I doubt it needed any of those repairs. When I asked why the axle had to be repaired and they said the person that drove the car felt it might be the issue, that he felt the axle had some give when he drove the car.At any rate, about $2,000 and the exact same issue remains.I would add the car has only 70,000 miles. I bought it at that dealership and at 60,000 miles I took it in because of an engine noise and they said the engine had to be replaced and so I let them replace an engine, at great cost to me.

5 stars for Finance.3 stars for Sales.1 star for Service.Finance went smoothly, communication was clear and there were no questions about anything.Sales was good at first, but then ran into some miscommunications which resulted in me having to drive back and forth from NY to PA several times using MY GAS. Any sort of compensation throughout was never offered, I had to ask for it myself. Work had to be done to my car AFTER the purchase (which was stated BEFORE the purchase that it would be taken care of, no problem) After the work was done, the salesman then tells me I owe them money for the work... miscommunication IS NOT MY MISTAKE, nor will it EVER be the customers responsibility. The salesman didnt seem to think so though so he proceeded to tell me that they wouldnt be doing the work for FREE. I reminded him that I just bought a vehicle from him and that the work was part of the deal before I signed any papers.Service by far was the worst (people in the office area of service). Stood around for several minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge I needed assistance while they either ate food or spoke to one another about unrelated work subjects. Offered me a rental car to take home while they INSPECTED MY CAR THAT THEY ORIGINALLY SENT ME HOME WITH, WITHOUT ORIGINALLY INSPECTING IT BEFORE LEAVING THE LOT... But the kicker was that I couldnt leave the state with the rental. SO THEY OFFERED ME A RENTAL WHEN I LIVE IN NY, BUT CANT LEAVE PA?? My salesman quietly told me on the side to just be careful and that I could ILLEGALLY take the rental car home with me to NY. I dont do sketchy things that are illegal, sorry.I love the vehicle I purchased, but I will not be going back to them in the future. There are countless dealerships, find one where theyll treat you right. If they give you any grief, remember theyre there to sell you a car with a smile. Egos and unprofessionalism SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATED. I suggest if any of the employers treat you this way, just drive down to the next dealership and save yourself the time. money and a headache.

Don’t ever bring your car here! Worst dealer in the history or Hyundai. The turbo went on my vehicle under warranty. It took five weeks to get an appointment for repairs. I dropped the vehicle off on the scheduled appointment date (Thursday). They called the next day to say the part was ordered for the vehicle and it will be done either Tuesday or Wednesday. The Friday after came and I called the dealership to inquire. The first phone call I was advised the service “person” was on the phone. I guess there’s only one person working in the service Dept. So I waited an hour and a half for a call back with no luck. Called again to be advised he’s at lunch now. Call him at 1pm and waited on hold for about 10 minutes, they haven’t started working on the vehicle, they are short handed and hope to have it done by the following Monday. They were asked if they can provide a loaner vehicle, they advised they don’t have any loaners due to the vehicle shortage. Called Hyundai direct, waiting for them to call back.

DO NOT PURCHASE OR LEASE A VEHICLE FROM HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOUR A WOMAN.....go to motor world in Wilkes-Barre, feel good motors, tom hesser chevy, ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!! I am a former customer ive had my vehicle for 3 almost 4 years now and the service and hospitality gets worse and worse. I personally have seen them take advantage of woman of all ages, then once their male partner gets involved its a complete different story You get overcharged, create issues, hidden fees, and once you own your car outright it is even worse. Its impossible to get prices on parts unless they diagnose even though you have your own reader. To get an extra 120 diagnoses fee. HORRIBLE

I was a little hesitant to work with this dealership, as I’ve heard some not so nice things about Dickson city Hyundai in the past. But, after buying a new car to then getting a flat tire a month after buying my new car I am so happy with the staff at Dickson city!Nazir has been such an amazing salesman from the day I bought my car and to this day. He always answers my questions or finds the right person to help me out.Dustin was also so extremely helpful in service to get my tire delivered, repaired and back on my car in less than 24 hrs!My only complaint about Dickson city Hyundai, is that they don’t always answer the phones. But keep calling or show up because the help you get once you get through is amazing!Highly recommend both of these two men for any car sales or services needs!

Definitely 5 stars my fiance and I were in an accident and needed a new vehicle due to covid we thought it would be difficult to get everything squared away but it was absolutely amazing we met with Angie she is fantastic! We explained to her what we wanted and what we would like for comfort and she found it all and made it work for us. We were even able to get all the additional warranties for an extremely reasonable price. We couldnt be more happy with our new vehicle and thankful for the help that Angie and Anthony gave us, getting in and out. They were even able to help us get our enterprise rental squared away quick and easy ! We didnt have to go any where else just came in gave them the keys and boom we got the keys to our new car. Nice people but the car I traded in had a Garmin– cam. The salesman told me that he would get it off and give it back to me the next day. He never answered his phone so I can get my dashcam back. I found out that he left. No one could get in touch with him. I talked to the GM absolutely nothing was solved. He talk to me in a awkward way. I went to go get my tire rotation and a check-up. I marked my tires with yellow paint pen. The tires were exactly in the same place when they gave the car back to me. they did not do a tire rotation. Otherwise everybody was very nice.

I went up there other day and browsed their inventory. I passed multiple employees and they never greeted me or asked if I needed help with anything. When I found a car I was interested in, the employees were nowhere to be found. Not only that, their used cars were not clean. Many were dirty and still had trash in it. The white Range Rover even had a used face mask in it. I’ve never been to an dealership that allowed the public to look at cars that dirty. I understand used cars will have wear and tear and will not be perfect. However, the cleanliness of their selection was unacceptable. I recommend going to a different dealership if you’re looking for quality service and cars.

Not so much a review on the lot but on Angela M!Car shopping can be tedious, especially if youre just trying to get a general idea of what you want. Car salespeople can be pushy & treat you like youre wasting their time if youre not ready to buy that day. Received a letter that they would pay me a certain amount for my car. Went up there and they said they cant do that and offered me $1700 less. Ill probably give them one more chance in the future. Theres a reason I drove 30min to them when i purchased the car from them. The dealer that is 2 miles from my house pulled BS like this.

I am very disappointed with the service I have received after purchasing this vehicle. First of all, if you try to contact the service department, is virtually impossible to get in touch with them.The last time I scheduled an oil change, it took them 3 weeks to get me in.I am now trying to schedule another oil change, and Im also having an issue with my steering wheel. My car only has 11,000 miles on it, and is under full warranty. The woman with whom I spoke told me she could not get me in until October 4th because they are understaffed.I have been in sales all my life, and one thing I can say is that there is nothing more important than service after the sale. This has been a very disappointing experience for me.

Banging noise that was not taken care of. Fixed my car 3 times & still have the banging noise underneath. Also my car is broken down right now . When I left this dealership there was lights lit up on my dashboard that werent there before. Now my key fob isnt working right & I was told its their fault for leaving those lights on. Also it messed with my power steering.Also everyone I tell that I went to Dickson City Hyundai they tell me not to.

I had alot of work done at this last visit but 3 hrs. is a long wait. The service manager is extremely knowledgable & always professional. She did give me the maximum discounts allowed but that labor cost is crazy when Im purchasing all the parts from your dealership. The car actually does handle better but was surprised that my clock, etc. was not reset after replacing my battery; or at least mentioning that. I never thought about it until I was 25 mins. late for my next appointment. I do like this dealership best of all the previous ones Ive used. Thx again!!

Never again. Took off lot without used car checkup. Wrong move on my part, promised they would have a appt for me the next 2 days. Did not hear from them after day 1. I called it seem the tech couldnt make the appointment for me his manager has to, and he was not around. Called back the next day was on hold and switched around. So in the mean time I go to start the car nothing. Ok so come to find out its the starter, really I just brought the car. So had it towed to dealership so it was there for its used car checkup, which u ended up making the appointment online before this happened. Meanwhile no car no loaner car I have to rent a car and they will reimburse me. ???? Im making payments on a car thats at your dealership and I have to pay to rent a car??? But it got its used car checkup but they couldnt put the starter in at the same time??? So without a car a few more weeks. Do not trust them

Today my husband and I stopped in hoping that we would be able to walk out with a brand new car, and we were fortunate enough to do just that!!We walked in, were greated by our salesman, and we got right to work.The process took a while, but, when buying a new car you need to make sure you are getting everything covered for such a big investment.Our salesman did lots of leg work, and even jumped through hoops to get us in a brand new car. He was polite, very knowledgeable, and patient with the process.This was a great experience, and were so happy with our new car.Im sure the others in sales are just as good, but if you have the chance to have Keeran Lambert help you out, you wont be sorry.

Went in to check out a 2014 Honda Civic & was greeted by a salesman named Brant. Brant is exactly what you want to look for in a salesman! He was very friendly and made the entire car buying process easy. I did not feel forced to buy anything, which is something that means a lot to me when I go to a car dealership. Most salesmen I come across have the fake personality and wont take no for an answer. Brant made the process seem as if you were just buying a car from a close friend. I initially thought my experience was good on the date of purchase but after it’s gone down hill. First I realized they sold me an extended warranty and tire protection that I said from the start I did not want. Secondly I thought they handled changing my registration from the car I traded in to my new car only to find out 2 months later when I received the registration it was for my old car. Lastly they were having promotions on the radio and TV. When I mentioned it I was told oh sorry we ran out. I was then told since my father in law bought a vehicle a week later they would order me a TV. Never received it. Nice to your face but shady behind your back. Will never purchase another car from here. They also lost a lot of my family business.After seeing this review my salesman Dennis Vaughn reached out to me to resolve my issues with the registration and the extended warranty. I really appreciated him taking the time to work with me. I would definitely recommend him to deal with!

I was sold a car that had not been mechanically checked before I drove off the lot. I was told on the date of purchase to bring it back for a buff job but there was snow in the forecast so I never made the appointment. I realized about a week later that my inspection sticker was expired. When I brought it back for a current sticker I was told I would need to leave my vehicle. I was given a nice loaner for the time they had my car. When I picked up my car, I was told that the brakes needed replaced and the rotors needed to be cut. When I questioned why this wasnt done before I was sold the car, I was yelled at from across the room and told that the service area has nothing to do with any of my questions and to ask my salesperson. At the time I didnt remember his name, and the service area men werent interested in finding out for me. Im disappointed with my experience. Customer service skills are clearly not a requirement in the service area. As I was leaving, the same man who yelled at me stood up and yelled again...with a huge smile on his face....HAVE A *GREAT* DAY!!!!!. I assure you he wasnt being polite.I doubt I would ever go back...not even for free service.Terribly disappointed.

Bought a new white Elantra from them. Paint started flaking off in large pieces. They did nothing for me when they knew it was an issue...look it up!I had to pay $1700 to have the hood, roof and fenders painted. The paint came of in large pieces with just an air gun at the paint shop. I am extremely disappointed that nothing was done about this! I could never buy a Hyundai again! Fool me once......

My experience at Dickson City Hyundai was nothing short of excellent. Dan was my sales rep and got me into my 2018 certified used Ford Fusion. The car runs and looks superb. Ray, The General Sales Mgr. went above and beyond to provide my wife with a loaner vehicle while hers had to go in for service after being denied one by the parts department, specifically; Lonnie, who was very rude on the phone to me after I requested a loaner during service so my wife didnt have to go without. She actually stated yea, thats not gonna happen when I said my wife needed a vehicle loaned to her at the time we dropped ours off because apparantly there was none there that they could provide. Regardless, Ray stepped up and contacted me to say that he was providing my wife with a loaner vehicle from his department so that my wife was able to have a form of transportation while our vehicle was being serviced. Ray showed that customer service and satisfied customers are his main priority and my wife and I are greatly appreciative for all that he did to accomodate us.

Place is a joke. Sold us a brand new car with an empty gas tank, left shipping glue all over it then forgot to tighten the oil drain plug at our first service. Luckily I noticed and fixed before we lost the motor.
