Closing the deli early is UNACCEPTABLE when your Instacart hours are set until closing. Do you have any idea how much we have to refund (aka lose tips) because you can’t be bothered to fulfill the orders we are sent to shop? Who should I contact for reimbursement?

Excellent price for a TERRIFIC variety of food items. No lines and small numbers of house plants. WONDERFUL quality meats at a great price. Many prices slashed on stuffed mushrooms and peppers. Great for day old specials. I purchased several different types of marked down items.

Price chopper is convenient in terms of store hours, variety of items and the store isnt crowded so you dont have long lines. The downside is its the opposite of its name, its actually more on the expensive side.

Rarely shopped there. Upper New York based chain. Price Chopper?No way-but theyre getting kicked hard by Wal-Mart and Gerritys so prices have come down.Their seafood dept. is tops. Very good quality. Always good sales. Youd have to go to a seafood mkt. to do better.

This is my main supermarket and the fruits and vegetables are always fresh.

Although their prices are a bit high and afew of the employees are not always friendly(which is why I gave 4 stars), the store is always neat, clean, and well stocked. Each department is always kept up with. They carry certain international and gourmet food you may not find at another store. Overall it is a good store to shop at.

I hadnt shopped at Price Chopper in a while and that was my loss! The store is spotless and the veggie department goes on for what seems like miles with anything you could want. The deli is well stocked with some hard to find items here. The meats are top notch.I know shop here often and happy with Price Chopper!

Its a very convenient stop on my home bus route. The personnel are very friendly and helpful, and I never feel rushed. They keep the shelves stocked well, and its never been an issue dealing with crowds, which is especially important in this time of Covid. I recommend this store highly

The only issue I have is that the person working self checkout also has to scan out orders for pick up. So if you need that person for anything then you have to wait until they are done. There should be a separate employee for that.

Its okay but a little pricey

Wide variety of foods, produce was very good. Their prices other than sales are higher than Weis,Geeitys or Quins. Their cashiers while not rude were more or less just getting their job done and move on to the next customer.

This is the only place I can find matzoh ball mix, all year long. Friendly team members and its always so clean

Polite and very helpful.During this COVID 19 they are always making sure all areas of the store are kept clean. I noticed a worker pass out a few mask to customers as they entered instead of turning them away. Also the meat package deals they have are amazing and the meat is always so fresh there. Not to mention their restrooms are always kept clean

Visited the supermarket to purchase clams. Had them readily available!

Items are few cents more but are worth it for the fresh produce and meats. Kind, warm knowledgeable staff that hasnt changed since the stores opening so many years ago. Never ever have to worry about if the store is clean or if they updated cleaning policies b/c theyve always been a clean organized store!

Nice clean place to shop! Prices are a bit high though. Employees all super friendly except the deli guy with the ponytail. He’s a miserable elderly man and he makes me very uncomfortable to ask him to slice some cold cuts.😂 he gives you these looks especially when you say slice thin.😩😭🤣and you say thanks and he never says you’re welcome. I find it a bit funny but not funny. I still recommend this store.

Normally, they would have received a five star but when I take a list but always buy more, and there are at least 5 things unable to obtain, I must go with a three🌟🌟🌟‼️This Corona virus must hamper their ability to stock cleaning products as they are my main, missing products! No peroxide for months, no floor Swiffer (fluffy) fabric, no Mr. clean & entire areas of empty shelves! No apple cider vinegar, anywhere! Only two small packs of Bounty paper towels on the shelves! No Campbells cream of celery soup or small cans of evaporated milk! ! I really prefer the one stop shopping but will do without so as to avoid being in a close proximity to even more shoppers! Their rating will go up once supplies are delivered!

Bought a box Bretons that were expired by 6 MONTHS! Drove all the way back to return it...had to go find a new box, bring it back for exchange. No discount, refund or anything for the time I wasted. Overall slow check out during peak time. Not enough cashiers and dont think I saw self-checkout lanes. The only good part is better than average selection and staff is generally friendly.

Most all the time they have what I want. Quality of the product is good. Reasonable prices. Quick checkout lines.

Employees are rude, its over priced, the store is an emergency only stop.

A little pricey compared to Wal-Mart and quite a few empty shelves. But, as far as courtesy, the employees were kind and courteous. Hence the 4 star rating.

I would have given it a 5 star rating if they werent ALWAYS out of their homemade bagels. I live 2 blocks away so I visit this Price Chopper frequently and every time I am there the bagel case is empty. I LOVE their garlic bagels.Otherwise it is a very clean store with great choices of quality items (although their choices of half gallon ice cream is slim), great sales and friendly staff.

I dont like shopping here because the prices are higher than what you would expect. I Grant that the workers are friendly. The store is always stocked. It is always clean. It is handicapped accessible. There is always parking. It is in a great location. Sometimes there is sales that are worth it unless you are driving there. Then the gas you spend balanced it out to normal prices anyway.

They run out of stuff alot but its a pretty decent store

Workers were not wearing masks, no protection for workers or customers. The worker who checked me out sneezed, which made me nervous since he was not wearing a mask. Store is not stocked. No TP, no napkins, meats expensive and in large packages. Many others products limited or not stocked. Deli clerk didnt appear to have good hygiene, wiped face while checking me out. Wont go there again.

Its your run of the mill, average grocery store. Absolutely nothing special to offer with the only exception being the bagels that are apparently made in-store. In the vast bagel desert that is Scranton, Price Chopper makes an acceptable bagel and after 5:00 p.m. theyre six for $2.00!

Why is it that the names if businesses never actually accurately describe the business? High prices are the rule here unless you wait for the rare sales which often require you to buy 3, 4 or 5 times the quantity you need.I never see anyone shopping in the store after 8pm so I dont know how they keep the doors open. The two redeeming qualities are the fantastic baked goods which are all I ever buy here and the cleanliness of the store is top notch. If you have a few hundred dollars you dont need and want to shop in comfort go for it!

Waited in line for a long time, then moved to automated machine, which declined my card which I used right before I got to PC, THEN TWICE IMMEDIATELY AFTER. I HAD USE MY DEBIT CARD SPEND CASH I DID NOT WANT TO USE. THATS WHY I HAVE CREDIT CARDS. I WONT BE RETURNING TO THIS PC

I bought 10$ skinless chicken breasts which were bad that i had to throw in the garbage and i got charged twice for 1 red pepper. Will not be going back here awful experience i will stick with gerritys.

They are the best for meats and they always have good sales every week.. Just love this store its clean and everyone is very friendly and helpful.. And they always ask if you need help to your car.. This is the only store that does that around!!!!!

Very clean and organized great associates

Waited almost 45 minutes to check out, because the customer in front of me had a rain check item . And none of the cashiers knew how to process the transaction. They had to call someone else to find out how to do it. If I hadnt just spent the better part of an hour shopping, I would have left all of the groceries on the line, over 100.00 worth of groceries. It was very frustrating. I have difficulty standing in one place for that long. I was not happy!!

QUICK LINES!!! Nice, clean store & parking lot. Cashiers are friendlier once you get to know them, otherwise youll get the typical Hi or forced smile. Lol prices are fair w/ certain items but what I really look forward to are the weekly sell items and we really appreciate that they offer a vegan section. (Its small but its a start!!) You can sometimes find NEW vegan items that cater to the holidays and or just items I believe they try out to see how they do!

If only the rest of the store was as well run and organized as the pharmacy department. Everyone that works in the pharmacy is professional and pleasant. I know they deal with ALOT of questions daily and no matter how busy they are they make the time to answer your questions or address any issues or concerns. They go above and beyond to help their customers. Excellent pharmacy!

I do not like pc since it has changed things. Their prices have gone up quality gone down to many changes have been made. It use to be an everyday stop now its more like several times a year

Wanted an item on sale and it is Thursday and already out of stock. But, we did have a gentleman check on stock. All in all not a bad trip.

Overly priced on just about everything in the store, once in awhile and I mean once in a great while you will get a deal if you keep an eye out on their weekly ads and flyers. Just a week or so ago Chunky Soup was $1 a can and every now and then they offer Coke products at 5 for 10 but its not too often so keep your eyes open. Their self checkout is a joke its more frustrating than anything else so if you can avoid it and go to a checker that is your best move

Yet again my wife went shopping at Price Chopper and purchased an item that was expired. This time it was Pics brand parmesan cheese. It was purchased on 5/2/19. It expired on 1/4/19. Be aware if you shop here that you need to *check your purchases* to make sure you arent buying expired items!
