Awful service from the woman who is the mans wife. I went to purchase a piece of furniture and the husband said I can use my debit card but she intervened and said no I couldnt. She said I needed cash (this was after me pulling out my bank card & she seen I banked with a local bank). She told me to go to the bank. She then continued to say, they didnt know how to use the credit/debit machine and looked at her husband and said, dont touch the machine. The man on the other hand was very kind but after the looks I was getting from the wife and blatant lie about the machine, I decided to take my business elsewhere. You mean to tell me, a family owned business and you dont bother to try to learn how to use the machine so you can bring in revenue! In other words the wife was trying to tell me my credit is not trustworthy but my cash is! Lets be serious, no one is walking around with large sums of cash on them, you either charge it or debit it. I will not recommend this business, thanks to his wife!

New to town, bought my first house and its empty. Decided to go to this store because I saw all the good ratings. When we walked in we saw a women screaming at the older gentleman (I think it was Mr.Gerrity) Noooo Deliveries, if there are any Deliveries Im going to scream!. The older gentleman was quite and nice, I explained I just moved into town and needed some furniture, but the the lady came from behind the office and scolded us in a very harsh tone, that there will be absolutely no deliveries, that he is to old to be doing it, he is weak and has to strength. Ok I can understand that, I offered to load and unload the truck, all he would have to do is drive it to the house, we only have a small Crossover. That was a no go as well. I understand completely that she was concerned for her members health, it there is a nice way to do and say things. Place a no Delivery sign, or hire someone to make deliveries. How are you going to run a.furniture business without some ssort of Delivery service. I gave 2 stars because the placed seemed nice enough and I truly understand her concern, however you dont a cold us and a nasty tone,as if we should have known better, when this is the first time we ever stepped foot into this establishment. I realize we walked in on a family dispute, but you dont take it out on your potential customers.

Wow! I have never been so eager to spend money and not be welcomed at all in a store EVER!! The older guy on the phone when I walked in made a few hand motions to me and ten minutes later could not be bothered to get off the phone to show me around. I felt good about trying to keep my money local if I could, and this turned out to be a sad sorry waste of my time. Its local mom and pop business owners like this who give Amazon a good name.
