Ok so Ive tried, really would much rather support local businesses but I just cant here. Have been three times now with high hopes each time. With a name like Sugar Mountain you would think you could get a sweet coffee 😅 idk if its the coffee, syrups, or sweeteners they use but it they dont get it done. I ordered what I order at other corporate chains and even added extra pumps this time just to try to find something comparable to enjoy, but no luck. As far as service they are great and very nice and try to appease, but at the end of the day if I order a 6+ dollar coffee I want to enjoy it! If you like if you like a sweet more dessert like coffee, I would go elsewhere.

It’s hot as heck out here today but I still wanted to be by the water. The inside is cute, clean, and cool and the big window seating is perfect to enjoy the water AND stay cool. Definitely coming back out to this little gem with some friends. Perfect little nook for sketching, reading, or being a “main character” and looking cool. 1000/10 Coming back- iced mocha really good, and they have nondairy substitute too.

Absolutely a gem on the lake. Stopped in for a coffee and walked at with a new perspective on life. The staff is amazing, the view just incredible and the coffee was more than perfect. Stop by, grab a cup and relax.

Enjoyed some freshly made beignets and coffee on their back porch. The water view was very peaceful. The food was good. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back!

Excellent experience! The coffee and the blueberry muffin were exceptional! The service was friendly and helpful. I had a cortado, and my friend had a columbian black coffee. Both were delicious, fresh, and strong despite our arrival within an hour of closing. Forgot to take a picture until it was mostly gone because it was that good!

The beignets are delicious! My family came to visit from NY and the first time we tried it we fell in love. The coffee is great and bagels are close to New York style bagels. We went almost everyday and will be back again. Highly recommended

Great hot Mocha with dark chocolate. Very quaint and relaxing. Trash on table next to me when I arrived still out when I left.

Pretty good cup of dark roast Americano. I was a little disappointed a coffee shop would have only one variety of black coffee available.Service was friendly, and sitting out on the patio by the water is delightful.

What a great way to enjoy the view and morning sun. Banana Nut Bread was so moist, nutty & delicious! My Americano coffee was heavenly on my tongue and soul. Friendly staff, very clean & they even have a drive-thru!

New to the Clear Lake area and was looking for a good beignet spot. And I definitely found one. They’re very well made and taste amazing. Their caramel macchiato was great too. Definitely a small business treasure in the seabrook area.

Great little coffee shop, we go by dinghy from Kemah. Staff is great, nice variety of drinks and the pastries, and food are really good too.

Can’t speak to the inside experience as I just got to-go. They have a great selection of coffee and will customize your drink to order, which I appreciate as I can’t eat a lot of dairy. Delicious beignets. Not quite New Orleans style but still very good. I live that they have a drive thru window so it’s safer right now. lol the employees were masked up and pleasant. It’s a great little place to drive by on a weekend for a treat. Also can I say the men taking the orders at the window are fine. 😜

This is such a great local coffee shop! I got the iced coffee with caramel and it was the perfect amount of sweetness and had a great flavor. The owner was very nice and very hospitable. I cant wait to come back and try other items on the menu!

This is a wonderful place to have coffee. The beignets are as good as at the Cafe du Monde itself. It’s got a nice view of the water, and the owner and everyone working there are quite friendly. Definitely a hidden gem in Seabrook.

Just went by to pick up beignets for the first time.....I will do that again....they were made fresh when we ordered and they are delicious....try them with coffee....very nice. And the lady that made them is so pleasant. This is a nice place!

This place is great! We got 3 different coffee drinks and my family said that they all tasted better than Starbucks. We also had muffins and beignets. The beignets are freshly made while you wait and they are not to be missed! Warm, sweet and the perfect texture. While we didnt order the Texas chicken and waffle...someone else did and it looked amazing. Put this place on your list of small businesses that youll be happy you support!

Love that they are open late and have a drive thru! We went out to dinner and stopped by to grab a coffee. Good selection of alternative milk options and some fun looking drinks along with the tried and true. Will return when its safer to check out the food options and floating stage performances.

This is a phenomenal little gem of a coffee shop. It’s tucked away behind a restaurant, and sits along the water for excellent views while sipping your ☕️. The staff is excellent: friendly, warm, and knowledgeable about the craft of coffee. Lots of pastries and bagels. Fast WiFi. Parking can be tricky on weekends... but there’s a drive-thru! P.S. big, clean bathroom! I make the drive down from Montrose when I need an escape from the city and Sugar Mountain never disappoints.

Coffee is pricy but they open very early

Great coffee, great food even if it is a little pricey at times. I give it 3 stars though because the last time I went, a man in the drive thru was not wearing a mask or gloves, did not obviously sanitize his hands in front of me or make me feel that his hands were clean before touching a bunch of things, the register and other surfaces before then putting his hands all over my coffee lids to put them on - where Im supposed to be putting my mouth. I got home, dumped the coffee in a mug and sanitized my own hands and things and drank the coffee. Again great food and coffee, but I cant give it a higher rating due to my recent experience.

A must visit cafe if you like to spend sometime peacefully near sea with some coffee and something to eat. Extremely nice people. They Let me use their WiFi and power (hours together). Food is very tasty and fresh (they toss all the unsold food to trash at the end of the day).

My first time today..Ordered Cookies and Cream Frappe..(Thought there was coffee in it)..Anyways..Was SO Thick, was like a milkshake..Not what I hoped for..Maybe I need to try something else (and will)..Also got Blueberry Scrone too..Was kinda weak..Hopefully next visit will be better
