Great service today with paint. I needed to cover dark green walls. The specialist recommended a high- hide primer for this purpose and colored it to match my new paint to reduce the number of coats Ill need to paint.

This place well deserves five stars. Everybody is super helpful and friendly. Often I’m pleasantly surprised about the things I find there; things that at first I thought were only available at bigger shops. Parking is limited, but it is always nice to walk down Main St if I don’t find parking close to the place. Actually, I sometimes park a block or two away intentionally, just for the walk.

Even though the footprint is small, youd be surprised at just how comprehensive their selection is. Just about any trinket, nut, bolt, and tool needed for most projects is here. You wont have to worry about asking where anything is, because the moment you step in the door youre greeted with a warm welcome from the staff asking what your project is.The crew here is excellent, and will gladly work with you to find the right part for your project, or guide you to the right nook and cranny to find it yourself.

These folks are always very helpful. With their help we were able to gather the parts we needed to fabricate some unusual dock hinge pins.

I love old family owned hardware stores like Bay Hardware. They always have parts and pieces, wonderful staff, and again everything you need.

This place is the best! They seem to have everything, plus extra parking in the back if you cant find a space up front which I dont have a problem with. I came here for one individual screw to put a jewelry holder together, and the guy up front immediately offered to help me with the task of finding the perfect screw. I love how they have individual screws etc without the plastic wrapping and for an easy 0.11-0.17 cents each or so. Once he found the right screw, he even screwed it in for me and voila, I had what I needed! Id definitely come back here again.

Very basic, small hardware store. Located smack in the middle of Seal Beach’s tourist street, but they seem to have mostly avoided offering touristy type stuff.Staff was friendly and helpful. Store seemed a bit messy, and there were some empty shelves, but I believe it was because they were in the middle of a small reorganization.

Customer service is on another level. I was greeted coming in the door, they knew exactly how to help me, and while browsing 2 others passed by and asked if needed anything. Im in the sales industry and whenever I walk within 10 feet of a customer, I always say hello and ask if they need any help. Great job Baby Hardware!!!

Only been once. But they seem to have everything you may need in a pinch locally. Big inside. And parking in rear.

I love Bay Hardware! I live here in Seal Beach and they always have what I need there. Everytime I walk in an associate always asks me if I need help. They always give great advise about products, installation and other helpful tidbits. You can’t beat this hometown hardware store. Even My dog Cutie loves it because they always give her attention and treats.

As soon as I walked in, I was not only greeted, but asked if they could help me find anything. The employee walked me to not only find the screws I was looking for, but helped me ensure they were all the correct size. After he checked on other customers while I waited to be rung up, he came up to the counter to be the second cashier & helped ring me up. Its really a breath of fresh air customer service that just makes the biggest difference! I will definitely be returning for future needs.

Youll find everything you need here, and this small buisness appreciates all its customers.. dont go to Lowes or home depot... put your dollars to work in small businesses like this one.. they appreciate it and you...

A great place to shop. Employees know their information and are always helpful. Great selection for a small shop. They can special order a lot of products and materials in addition to what they stock, so just ask. Glad there are still stores like Bay Hardware around to serve the community.

Interesting I asked for paint thinner and was sold Acetone told it would work. Not so says the husband. Oh well it gets used and Im happy to give the small stores our money.

There is always something at Bay Hardware that I need and I get excellent up close customer service. And special orders are not a problem. (I dont mean busting Covid-19 regulations) 😃😃😃

Great selection but did not carry a common 40 watt a.c. transformer. Only had doorbell power 10 -20 watts.

She even went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed and offered alternatives and let me decide. GREAT JOB and I vote for a raise!- - The BIG BOX type store do not have this level of service or knowledge.The BEST hardware store ever. I needed a lock fixed and one of the guys came out ON HIS lunch break, in the rain and fixed it no worries. customer service and there is always someone to answer your questions. When Im trying to do a job around the house, and I dont feel like getting in the car and doing a 12 mile round trip to Home Depot, and then try to find someone on the floor whos helpful, wait in line to check out, and then if I get something that doesnt fit, do all of that again, well, I LOVE going into Bay Hardware right here in Seal Beach. Im usually helped right away, and back home 15 minutes later. My free time is precious, and Im aware that Bay Hardware pays higher rent than Home Depot, and Im aware they have to pay more for their merchandise, so why would I not expect to pay more too? They try really hard to be helpful, and you dont have to buy a whole box of that one size of screw that you need.

Absolutely the best hardware store around. They have crammed so much inventory into that place and have a really friendly staff to help you find everything. I have been shopping there for over 20 years and they have come really far in the last 3-4 years. They have a much larger selection of fasteners and hardware components than Home Depot or Lowes.

I have supported all local shops in Seal Beach for 40+ years. They are our neighbors!! However, when the local stores stop treating us as neighbors, My business will go to the big box stores. Bay Hardware has new policies for tool rentals, Their arogance & matter of fact attitude has lost them a long time customer!!! Their service no longer justifies their higher prices!!!

They couldnt help me enough! It was great 2 have service like that in this generation.

Tried to have one screen made there. They quoted me $48.00 and 3-4 days to make. Went to another place. They built it while I waited(5 minutes) and charged me $14.00.
