Loads and loads of equipment here. If you know what you want and where to find it, this is the place for you. They have 3 simulators inside to help you choose clubs, but unfortunately it seems the staff are letting people just grab any club off the new rack and use them. So watch out for used new clubs as some of them have been fairly worn just from simulator use.

I was here wanting to buy new set of golf clubs, it wasnt busy when I got in, I looked around and found the set I wanted, I was hoping someone would come over and help, I had some questions before buying so I stood there for about over 10 mins and no one came to help therefore I left, so two Stars for that.

Really disappointed, got my clubs regripped today and the writing and lines on the grips dont line up with a square club face. They originally told me I would have to wait two weeks as the previous person had left. Would have preferred they just told me the could not do it correctly. The whole point of me going to a specialist golf store was to get expertise. I could have done a much better job myself.. Will never go back to this place, what a basic thing to not get right!

Everyone is always friendly and helpful! We need to understand that staff has been limited per previous bad review being backed up. We all need to practice patience and courtesy to each-other.Matt M. was super helpful tightening my club and adjusting the loft. Great knowledge on clubs with honest advice. My go-to place for all golf needs.

Kind of reminded of a DDs or Ross store version of golf but at least those stores have staff that say hello. Selection was limited, womens sets were very scarce, Kevin/Karen-style golf clothes.

Poor service and lazy workers who think they are too busy. Walked in twice for loft and lie check but worker said he didnt know how to do it and I would have to leave the clubs for 10 days because theyre backed up. I will not waste my time going in there.

The golf team professionals at golf mart are at the highest standards ever. Once again they have taken care of my golf equipment issues with no questions, just took care of things. Ive purchased clubs, shoes, drivers, clothes everything related to golf, from this store. And that will never change.

The ONLY golf store in the area not connected to a golf course. Great selection of golf gear (clubs, apparel, accessories). Limited but useful used club offerings. Always helpful, especially Jack. I dont think there is anything Jack doesnt know about golf.

Horrible service. I asked twice for assistance with fitting on two separate slow days, and I was not assisted in either day. I left frustrated and they didn’t say anything as I left. Never coming back again.

Today decided to just check out what Golf Mart offered in a set of clubs. Luckily got hooked up with sales rep Brandon B, who was very knowledgeable and offered many combinations of shafts/club heads. Brandon patiently assisted me with the right choice, so decided to purchase a set of new clubs. Would like to thank Brandon for his excellent customer service and will definitely be back!

Great selection of all things golf. Clothes, bags, clubs, shoes and any accessory you might want. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Patrick helped me pick out the set of clubs that met my needs without blowing my budget. They have a computer range set up and Patrick took the time to walk me through my options.

Picking up golf, bought my first ever set. Bought a set of second hand Ping golf clubs there, consisting of only iron 5-9 and wedges L,U, but staff entered that there is a pitching wedge too in the receipt. Did not realized that until when I want to trade in. When I went to trade in the clubs, the shop stated that they cant trade in the club because it is not a full set since it is missing the pitching wedge. So first I paid for a set that is supposed to have a pitching wedge, but they short changed me and did not give me that. Then, I suffered from not being able to trade in because of their mistake, which they have no intention to correct it. Very poor experience for someone new to golf. Dishonest in sales.

This location has a huge inventory and excellent pricing.

First time here and Ill for sure be back. I came in to get my clubs regripped. The assistant manager, Mike, was helpful and not pushy. The job was done next day and that work great. Great merchandise selection, too!

Seaside Golf Mart historically has been a great part of the Monterey Area golf community. Unfortunately, something has changed over the last year. Conducting business with this establishment is no longer a fun and pleasant process. First, they recently tried to refuse replacing a grip even though they put on the wrong one. They only agreed once they realized the grip was incorrectly put on anyways. This was for a brand new club, so I guess there margin was not enough on the club itself. They tried blaming me for the mistake.Second, I brought in a pair of leaking shoes, still under warranty, and a different employee tried to argue that I had simply played too many rounds. Number of rounds do not change the 2 year warranty policy, so not really sure why they were arguing. I eventually received replaced shoes, but dont understand the argument.Third, I have tied three times in the last month to get fitted for new irons. I have money burning my pockets, but unfortunately, no one seems to have the time to help. Either folks are taking breaks or are just too busy. Ok, I see a bunch of folks doing nothing, or at least not revenue enhancing activities, yet they cannot find the time to fit me with new irons. Hmm, dont get that either!There are a few really good employees that work there, but this is no longer the establishment it once was. I would recommend just finding what you want at the store and order it online. You will probably get a better price. Plus some of the online sites are even offering trial periods.I am sad to write this review given the many years I enjoyed spending hours at Golf Mart. The business approach worked because I have bought all my clubs there for the last 20 years. No more!!! Hopefully, management realizes what is happening soon before they lose too much business.Your former customer
