Was purchasing a trailer nearby and turns out the gentlemen didn’t know what size ball it took. I needed a 1 7/8” ball and called them to see what they had. David was very helpful and told me to come on by and he would get me setup. Arrived minutes later and David had me setup with a new ball and on the road in minutes. Great service and really appreciate the extra efforts on David’s part! Next time I’m traveling through I’ll keep this location in mind. Thanks!

Great for tow hitches! Over a decade ago I got a tow hitch and the hitch and tow ball from another U-Haul location. This week I needed to get the tow ball off of the hitch for the first time, and it would not budge. I brought it in here and a nice guy got it unscrewed for us super fast using an impact driver. It was really stuck and we would never have gotten it off ourselves. Thanks!

Went in this morning, 10/14/21, and had THE RUDEST service from a man who when asking if they had pillow top mattress plastic bag covers instead of just normal size ones.. The guy told us that “the 10 inch long” one would cover all beds and when we said that 10” was the height not length he raised his voice and said they don’t carry them. Cool, all we wanted to know. Then he didn’t look us in the eye or talk the rest of the time until he told us our total..which we stood in silence for 3 minutes(holding a $20 bill out in view)…to wait for him to scroll in the computer not telling us if he even heard us say we only wanted these two items or let us know what he was even doing.) Then told us WE DONT ACCEPT CASH! Went same day to the uhaul in Burien and had the complete opposite service and the ladies were helpful and showed us a bag they carry that would serve the purpose for a pillow top mattress.

Came here to fill up my propane tank. Super friendly and fast service.

They did a great job! My stuff are all in good condition when it arrive.

They royally screwed up my order and the lady at the counter gave me an attitude the whole time. Then they had the nerve to tell me to cancel and redo my reservation. Avoid this location at all costs and avoid uhaul in general if you can.

This is my favorite Uhaul location, by far. I rented a moving truck and realized it was WAY too big to fit down my street. The main guy (manager or owner, maybe) really helped me out of a jam; and hes helped me out before. He has a sarcastic and dry sense of humor, which honestly just adds to why I love this location. Keep it up guys!

Every time I come here David and Frank are always helpful real down to earth stand up guys. Thank you for always making it quick and simple.

To get right into it, Im not sure I like the parking real estate being so enclosed, because it makes it hard to park during the busy seasons, such as now. It is limited to about 4 parking spaces on the north end of the building before cars begin blocking each other in, which at that point you must wait for the later customers to move their vehicles. It was nice to see that they allowed us to rent a vehicle in the small window that they had it (4:00pm to 7:30am, in my case), so Ill give them those props.

These guys seem to have a great rental game. Their trailer installation left much to be desired. It took them 6.5 hours to install a trailer hitch and wire the car. Mind you, they didnt secure the wire running to the battery. I was shocked to get home and find a foot of wire behind my car when I got home. After 3 hours of going to a real professional, I now have a properly wired trailer. Staff was nice, just not knowledgable on installing trailer hitches.

The owner is helpful but his staffs are not. Even seeing there are 5 customers in line, JW Palmer takes his sweet time to respond to customers, as if the customers are here for pick up or return. U haul promises that you can cut down the time for pick up, but so much true about return.

Contrary to some of the other reviews my experience was fantastic. Ive been traveling extensively utilizing U-Haul trailers and John, along with his crew, was incredibly helpful. The service was great and they helped me out of a jam when I needed to store my trailer for a few days.

We had a great experience with check in but the person working the desk when returning our key was having a conversation with a new customer about very tiny details/tangents that lasted 20 minutes! Finally fed up waiting with not even an acknowledgement, I left our keys on the counter. At least tell your customers someone will be with them shortly!

First off I would like to point out that the manager was very rude and disrespectful. I went here to rent a car trailer. I was barely inside when he told me that he couldnt rent to me because my tow package was bent. He said its already documented and I have pictures, have a nice day. Those were basically his first words to me. I did end up renting a car trailer after getting a different truck. Maybe he was quick to judge because my truck is a beater. Dont judge a book by its cover, Im a successful business owner and Ive spent thousands of dollars at uhaul renting trucks and other equipment.

Disappointed From the beginning, they dont at all allow you to park your car, and the rental guy explained this in a nasty way, I didnt have time to go to another U-Haul so I had to drive around, park my car and come back. In the office, the rental guy told me he cant rent me a pickup truck with a debit card, I had no choice but take the box-truck.The guy - have no clue how to handle customers, and looks very biased.

Be careful and double check the vehicle conditions like fuel level and tires or previous body damages. They rented me a truck which was almost EMPTY GAS TANK and they wanted to bring it back with almost empty tank. Very unprofessional. When I brought back the vehicle, the employee asked me if the engine or transmission was working properly, as if I stole parts off. They try to charge maximum. ....he wanted to drive test it before checking my total trip milage.

The worst place to U-haul, Do not use their service. I REPEAT DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!!!! They just want to add on fees. After following staff instructions, the manager way over charged me, Not a fair company. The owner is extremely rude and money hungry, he wont follow his own instructions, he rather charge you for breathing, If he could. Staff is pleasant but seems to give out the wrong information, so the owner can eat your wallet.

Very very rude and unprofessional staff. They behaved very rude with me both during the pick-up and drop-off. If you have self respect, So please avoid this location, because are going to be insulted by those employees working there.

Ordered parts and installation for a hitch on our car online and scheduled an appointment 8 days in advance. When we arrived for our appointment, we were told they couldnt do the installation because they didnt have the part that we had to pre-pay over $400 for prior to making the appointment. Also, we were told they had been attempting to call us for 4 days to tell us, yet there were no missed calls or text messages on our phones, so that isnt possible. This store has poor customer service and should not allow scheduling appointments online without the parts being available in the store, especially when you have to pre-pay. So after being turned away, we now also have to wait several days to get our refund. I do not recommend this store for hitch installations.

Scammers!!! READ other negative reviews. I agree with all of them. they will find a way to charge you anything. I paid for safemove insurance but they find all kinds of ways to charge me. Always something - Over mileage, locked keys inside, damage not covered by insurance. It’s impossible to have all these problem only from same location 2x with me and 2x to my family member Too obvious its a scam. Total of 4x only from this location? No where else. too much for complaints from same location. I rent a uhaul almost every 3-6 months moving my storages, helping friends family move etc I dropped picked up at auburn federal Way seattle so I really assure you you’ll have problems at this location. Last time uhaul called me if I can drop my truck in Seattle they’ll give me $40 off my rental, I accepted before I realized it was here at SeaTac location. Oh no! Sure enough uhaul had a complain and charged me. I have storages in 3 different U-Haul. 2 in WA 1 in AZ for 10 plus years I swear. Only this location had I ever had a problem with

Quick to rent and return moving trucks. Close to the Sea-Tac airport. Close to the freewat. Beautiful view of mountains.

John is almost always working there. Believe he is the owner. I had to of rented ten auto transports from him while living in Normandy Park. Always had the contracts and rigs organized, would get you set up and on your way in no time.

They double charged me for a truck, someone said John Palmer the owner would call me in 1-2 days he Emailed me instead of called 3 days later saying he refunded the charge. However he only refunded me a portion of the charge, I emailed him Twice and still havent heard back from him.I understand mistakes happen, but John is the boss and him not being a man of his word and not following up to actually fix the mistake made by his employee is very frustrating!Last time I rent with them.

This is the worst place ever - we are trying to move out of state. Our normal place ordered the wrong piece for our car o we had to call around. I called uhaul the lady confirm she had the part and booked my appointment. I also had my husband call to confirm everything. So we double confirmed they later on called me to cancel the appointment said they double booked the appointment. So they canceled with us. Well today on the time of our appointment the guy called and said you missed you appointment. Ummmm you canceled us he ad no clue what I was talking about.Since they had canceled with us my husband called 2 other uhaul places who confirmed the appointments. One called back to cancel saying they couldent do it. The other one my husband called to confirm and they said. Oh sorry we can’t do this. They weren’t even going to call and cancel lol. This place is a joke - Do Not schedule a appointment with them.

The best service I have had at any uhaul. I have moved across the country more then 5 times and always used uhaul...this by far was the best service yet.

This place is a joke...Worst customer service I have experienced . I waited 25 minutes and went inside twice to seek someone to refill my propane tank. They assured me someone would be out to fill it shortly. I ended up leaving and never got it filled. Dont waste your time like I did.

They list closing time as 7pm on Saturday but close off their propane by 6:50. I wasted 45m of my Saturday because they shut off their propane before their closing time. Thanks uhaul of SeaTac

My reserved truck was not available. No solutions or alternatives were offered other than, go to another location and Ill have one ready for you there.It wasnt ready when we went to the next location. We waited an additional hour at the next location. Unfortunate circumstances but no resolution was offered by the GM.
