We debated for a long time about what to install here, and did quite a bit of research on materials and installers. We are SO impressed with our walnut butcher block from Greenhome Solutions, which adds warmth and functionality to our small condo. We were equally impressed with the service and installation experience. This was likely a very small project for them, but nevertheless they gave us the time and attention needed to get it exactly right. We felt like our project and happiness was a priority to everyone we worked with at Greenhome. I absolutely recommend their products and services!

Walked into this place and it was empty. Found an employee in n the back who looked at me like I was crazy. She was obviously annoyed that I was there. Same for the sales guy. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but man, if you don’t want to deal with customers just close the door.

I added a bathroom in my basement and Greenhome Solutions was able to provide consultation on my design, tile flooring, Tile for the shower, all bathroom fixtures (toilet, shower, sink) and build me a vanity. What a great one stop shop for everything I needed. Ill be back when its time to redo the kitchen.

GHS is my go to place not only for products, but also for education. Pieter and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable about all things green and the products they offer (which are many). We have used them years ago for basement projects and have now relied heavily upon them as I try to remodel a house in Boise where green building hasn’t really taken off yet. We decided to order- and ship- a number of products for use in the house. I only wish GHS could be in ID- so they could install; make cabinets etc. Pieter walked us through oil staining of our floors. A process not too common over there. I love learning about the why and how these products work, why one is better than another etc. so i would not hesitate to get advice or products/installation from here. Invaluable. Only wish they were in Boise too.

I have used Greenhome for several projects in my house - full kitchen remodel, wood flooring that included stairs, bathroom cabinets/countertops, wet bar, storage cabinetry, etc. Ive worked with several different employees during this process and have always been treated with the utmost respect. They worked with my contractors and were always quick to answer questions or help when small issue arose (as they tend to do with remodeling). I highly recommend anyone looking to purchase products to give them a try. You wont be disappointed.

Our church has now relied on Greenhome Solutions for Marmoleum on three occasion as we renovate rooms on a rolling basis. Their websites calculation of our needs has been accurate, the pricing better than anyone else and the customer service outstanding. The first time out, we had lots of basic questions to which we got straight-forward answers.Most recently, the shipping confirmation confused us. The individual who answered the phone could not identify our order immediately and asked me to hold on. Within a minute, Erin was on the line with our order history in front of her. She tracked our most recent order and sent me a screenshot of what she found, volunteered that our special instructions about delivery from the prior orders had been captured and sent to the trucker already. What is not to like about this company? -- The best prices, great service, prompt delivery and a personal touch. I am sure we will be back again next summer.

I recently purchased cork flooring at Greenhome Solutions. It was their GHS cork plank in Sienna. I couldnt be happier with the product. It was reasonably priced, it looks fantastic, and it is so much more comfortable than hardwood floors. If youre thinking about installing hardwoods, definitely look at their cork plank products before you commit.Cameron was really helpful when we were in the early stages of shopping. My wife wasnt sure if she really wanted cork. She thought it was weird and all, but Cameron was able to change her mind, which saved me thousands of dollars. Thanks Cameron!

I went with another vendor after a slow and frustrating experience with Greenhome. Following a basement flood and carpet extraction, I asked their staff on a Saturday to get the process started to install new floor. I was told I was on the list. When I didnt hear from them by end of day Monday, I called them. The staffer who answered tried to make it sound like I was being completely unreasonable expecting a call back the next business day. The coordinator doesnt work on Mondays, he said. When I expressed hope for a call on Tuesday, he pushed back and said she had so very much to do (oh, it must be terrible), that it would likely be Wednesday or Thursday before I was contacted. All this, just to schedule someone to come out and measure the job?! On Wednesday afternoon, not having heard anything, I called again, and the coordinator refused to get on the phone with me. She proceeded to ping me on email back and forth for over an hour, explaining that she couldnt possibly get anyone out to my house until the following week. So much time wasted for a conversation that would have taken 2 minutes over the phone and really should have been done on my first visit the prior Saturday. At this point, I ended up getting two other vendors to bid the job much quicker (all 3 actually came out the same day, despite the later start). Then, it took multiple days for Greenhome to turn the bid around. I guess math is hard!? I had the other two bids well in hand before Greenhome deigned to send me theirs. And then, Greenhomes bid came in way higher than the other two -- of the three estimators who saw the floor, only Greenhome wanted to charge me an extra $1,000 to do additional leveling. To my eyes, the floor is plenty level already, and neither of the other bidders tried to pull the stunt Greenhome did of charging me an extra thou. They seem to think theyre so green and fabulous that they can move slow as molasses and overcharge people. Not me, jerks. Your products are nice, but your customer service sucks. Ill never step foot in your store again.

For a small retail shop they have lots of choices for almost anything that goes inside the home.
