Really great store for men with a wide selection clothes, boots, and outdoor items. Staff was super helpful and cool to talk to. Definitely will be back when I have more time.
What a cozy, neat store just steps from Pike Place Market! I’ve been looking at Danner boots online but really wanted to try them out before purchasing. This location had a large selection of shoes/boots by Danner on display. They also had a collection of curated items from other lifestyle / outdoor brands that caught my eye. (I may be back for that Pendleton pillow!) The staff were friendly, and the new sales associate who helped us was kind and knowledgable. Thanks for everything!
Everyone working was soo helpful and the boots are fantastic!
Im really happy Danner opened a store downtown! There is another that was in Renton, but thats a bit of a hike (pun intended) if you live downtown. The store is small, but offers a solid mix of boots from hardcore hiker, noobie, to PNW fashionisto. They have a small selection of clothes available too. There was a coffee/alcohol stand at the back with some cookies, but Im not sure if thats a permanent fixture in the store. The staff was friendly.and knowledgeable too. I recommend visiting if youre looking for some great hiking boots or want to adopt the PNW fashion aesthetic!
My husband and I were visiting from the East Coast and we walked in to look. We ended up spending a longer time than expected and were helped out by the two gentlemen there (I’m sorry, forgot both your names!). They went above and beyond explaining the different capabilities of the boots, which ones were better for what I planned to do, and they even recommended places to visit in Seattle. We ended up buying a pair of boots and had them delivered back home. Thank you for your knowledge, your recommendations, and for your patience with my clumsy behavior (ended up dropping my Starbucks on the floor). You guys are the best!!!
Remarkable! Max was a great help! My husband and I were traveling from MI hiking Mt Hood and Mt Ranier without the proper shoes. My husband has always bragged about how great his Danners were when he was working on the ambulance and wished he had a pair for hiking. We found the Seattle store and the rest is history! The team got us set up with hiking boots, proper socks and we even bought a sweet copper uKeg for our sons 21st birthday gift. Beautiful store, excellent service! Max helped with some other pointers on places to hike and trails to enjoy. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. Thanks guys for making our spontaneous shopping spree unforgettable. Our feet thank you! The boots saved our footing on several tricky spots of the trail at Rainier. We are thrilled with out Danners!
Great boots, great quality they have become my favorite boots and now I have a pair of the Romeos for work, they are great to work in😎👍
My favorite brand, quality, comfort and style. The portland select is 100% Made is USA!!! For hiking I recommend MOUNTAIN600 in winter and TRAIL2650 for summer hikes/trails
Friendly staff, and quick to get something shipped in for me from a different store.
My wife and I visited the Seattle Danner store (1st Ave. one block East of Pike Place Market).I’m not one to write a whole lot of reviews unless I find the service and experience to be either really good or really bad. Today’s experience was truly remarkable. This review isn’t really about the Danner product, which is a line of boots and shoes that are well made, comfortable and stylish, but about our pleasant experience while at the store. When we entered the store we were greeted by one of the employees, Ricky Sanchez Haas. He exhibited a limitless knowledge of his entire product line which my wife and I found to be very helpful. He never gave us the impression, like too many retail employees do nowadays, that we were bothering him or that he’d rather be doing something else than helping us. He was enthusiastic about not only what he did for a living, but the “great” company he felt fortunate enough to work for. You rarely see that level of loyalty from employees today. He clearly loves his product and loves being part of the “Danner family” as he put it. By the time my wife and I left the store with our purchases, we both felt like we had made a friend.I highly recommend anyone interested in the Danner product, visit the 1St. Avenue Seattle Danner store. It’s a smaller, but well stocked store with helpful, happy, enthusiastic employees eager to help.
Employees are super nice and helpful every time I go in.
If you’re looking for a good pair of shoes ready to take on the PNW, this is your place. Warren was amazing. I came in looking for one type of shoe and he helped me find something I liked even better. Thank you!
Very helpful attendant
Super friendly and helpful staff. Like I genuinely enjoyed my time talking to the guys in the store. Couldn’t imagine a better shopping trip. Oh and the shoes are great. So comfortable.
Couldn’t have had a better experience at this new store. Max helped me figure out the right sizing and was super patient and insightful. Ricky talked about his own experience using the shoe I got and reassured me even more. Ask for one of these guys. Beautiful store and great staff. Go check it out.
Verry disappointing to what I expected
Small friendly store in a great big city. Ricky was helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the trip if your looking specifically for danner boots. I was there only the second day they were open, the service was amazing and I will come back to buy my next ones.
Warren was very helpful in finding me the right boots! The store is super nice and the service was great
Horrible customer service lackadaisical employees
Super friendly, awesome crew!
