The staff was nice walking in but in the boot department they were rude and didnt offer any help π also their selection and prices were horrible distasteful I would of written off the no help and semi rude attitudes but when I asked for help they didnt even go back to look at what I was asking for and the response left me feeling very unwelcome and stupid. Ive worked construction for 16 years now I know about boots . I would not recommend this place to any one .
Great place to find work gear and quality work boots. They are probably one of the best places to buy work boots and shoes. They also sell safety work wear and just about all necessary clothing and shoes for those who are in need of work related clothing. I was there this past week buying boots and had a good experience for the most part. The only down fall is that their employees in the shoe section dont seem to be well trained in their products. I will continue to shop here and their selection is superior to most other retailers when it comes to work wear.
Place sells workwear to construction workers but are only open during those working hours. How is anyone who works honest hours in construction supposed to be able to even buy their clothes here? Sheeesh

We bought two pair of boots here yesterday, and they are wonderful (a pair of $250 Thorogoods and a $140 pair of Muckboots for my husband). My husband was in a hurry yesterday because of the snowstorm, and upon arriving at home, realized that the Muck boots he bought were 1/2 size too small for him. Since we realized that the boots were too small, but also amazing, we decided that we would return to the store today to swap out the un-used first pair of boots and pick up a second pair of the same style boots for myself. However, upon arriving at the store today, the staff refused to allow my husband to return the boots, stating that it was because they had been worn outside (which they had not). Please see attached photos for the condition of the boots, which, bear in mind, we had for less than 24 hours and were never worn outside the house. So our grievance is the unreliable return policy. We spent over $530 total for footwear at Whistle Workwear and, disappointingly, we were not afforded the benefit of the doubt or good faith to return these perfectly new boots for ones that fit. Needless to say, if there is any chance you may have to return or swap the item you purchase, this purveyor is a dicey option at best. We will take our business elsewhere in the future.

They were patient while I decided the perfect ones. More than willing to let me try numerous styles and sizes. They also left me with words of encouragement going into a new career. Great, except some guy making threats to people outside of the store. The manager quickly executed that behavior and got the person to leave without major problems. It was more crowded than usual, was picking up one thing for work, but also was checking out some other items. Always good customer service! Very helpful, lots of options to choose from. When my husband lost movement in his hand because of a work accident, I was upset and needed help to become familiar with the inventory in the store. Staff was extremely helpful in taking me around to various departments. They let me know of generous return policy.My husband didnt use a lot of it and it hung around in the closet for a couple years. Then he finally started to wear the loafer working shoes when his tennies pinched a sore spot. He now prefers the wider toe area, and is starting to wear some of the beltless scrubs as lounge pants.Now our worker in Bellingham has sore feet from ill fitting boots. so we are going back here to get some shoes that are sturdy yet comfortable.
Good selection of work shoes for almost any scenario of work environment. Staff super friendly and easy to relate to for that shopping experience some want. They should serve hot dogs - just saying! Still 10/10.

Bought a pair of boots that were sold defective. Brought them back to have them replaced. Only had them over a month. (Still under warranty) And they said they canβt do anything about it. Spent almost $200 on them. I buy boots twice a year, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I try to avoid going here any more because the last time I was in a few years ago I had such a terrible customer service experience. This guy forced me to give him my bag even though I told him my computer and equipment was in it, refused to provide me customer service when I was looking for a specific work glove, then when I left and asked for my bag back I saw that hed discarded it someplace where anyone could easily have grabbed and walked out the door with it. When I said as much he then openly mocked me for suggesting someone might steal my computer. Was in again today for the first time since that incident, hoped it would have improved but no luck again. Customer service didnt seem interested in helping. When they didnt have my size, I had to be the one to suggest looking into ordering it but they seemed reluctant to put the effort in so I just left. Will never come here again.

I went into the store today to purchase a set of specific Keens to help with the treatment of a work related crush injury. Unfortunately they do not carry what I was looking for.What stood out to me was the customer care and service. Mary was such a great help and provided some great alternatives that ultimately did not work for the health of my injured foot. I need the shoes today so special ordering was not an option. She was kind enough to recommend another local store that may carry what I am looking without any pressure whatsoever to purchase something here. Thank you Mary for prioritizing my health over your need to make a sale and earn commission. Walk in without mask they requested me to ware one or i cant shop even i told them i have condition (low oxygen) i get dizzy in about 5 min in mask. WILL NEVER SHOP HERE (even though it was my favorite store)

This store has so much inventory as far as clothing and other supplies and really nice staff but every single time weve gone for steel toe work boots, they NEVER have 10.5 or 11s. They always offer to order them but thats not an option for our situation. So disappointing.

Went into the store to look at work boots. Everyone at the front door was nice and happy. But when I got back to the boot section the man was straight up rude. He acted like it was our fault for interrupting his day. And when asked what boots were good for being on concrete all day he goes the keens are pretty good, pause, reluctantly gets off his perch, theyre here, he gestures to 6 boots and says this I all we have. Funny thing a friend even warned me, he said that hes gone in there and not only are they rude they didnt care to help him find the pants he wanted or even special order them.
Very friendly customer service, very helpful on all questions. Been coming here for a few years now, the place to go for work attire. All work. That was 2 years ago. My work buys my boots and Ive been working there now for over 6 years. They have been perfect every time Ive been in to get my yearly re-up on boots. Yes, I said perfect. Every time. Im actually going to be going in again this weekend and I have no reason to expect this time to be any different. Nice variety and reasonable prices are also an attraction.

I bought a pair of steel-toed shoes here last Nov, and when the fabric on the inside of the heel started wearing down and tearing out last month, I decided to take them back up to get them replaced since they were still under the 1-year warranty from Wolverine. The store only had a 6-month warranty, but the style of shoe was discontinued anyway, so replacing them was not an option. But they credited me the amount for which I had bought them and had me look around for a new pair, to which I was surprised to find a similar style that was $10 cheaper. So when I picked up a new pair of Romeos while I was there, they put the remaining balance toward them.Many thanks to Dennis (who Im pretty sure helped me out there the last time as well) and the crew for making everything smooth and easy, for sizing me to make sure I had the right fit and for making me feel like I wasnt just another customer from which to simply get a sale.
Only reason why I did business with this company was due due to the 6 month boot warranty they offered for boot defects. With my job I walk all day so wear and tear is common but when its wet outside I depend on the waterproof. The 1st pair of boots I bought had a water defect within 3 weeks and the replacement pair also within 3 weeks.Was told today that they now they only offer 1 replacement due to people taking advantage of replacements. Stevie wonder wouldve seen my boot and saw that this was a legit water in the boot issue.If I knew this was going to be the case I wouldve bought some $20.00 Walmart boots and a can of flex seal and called it a day.

I spent less then I expected (by $100) and got a better boot then I wanted. This place has earned my business the old fashion way. No gimmicky BS, just solutions.
Great experience. Came in to buy some work boots, right away I was asked if I needed any help, and politely said I was good. I usually go into a buy educated about the product, and dont normally need help from assistants. However, I was torn between a few pair of boots after looking around, and ended up talking to a guy in the department. He was more than helpful, very knowledgeable about the boots, and gave me honest opinions about the pros and cons of each boot. I felt like he was truly trying to help me, not make a sale. Ended up buying a great pair of boots. Highly recommend and will be returning.

I had a bad experience with the sales staff and had an issue where I got convinced by the sales staff to buy a small size of shoe saying it fit me better and would stretch. However it did, but i stopped wearing them due to a work Injury and the shoe no longer fits me. So Im stuck with these 180$ door stops. Rather pissed I will not purchase shoes from here ever again. Also to add fuel to my fire the manager refused to help me at all with no sympathy to my situation.
Thoroughly impressed with my experience at whistle workwear. The gentleman with the high and tight haircut went above and beyond in coordinating getting my pants tailored and then shipping them to a different store in a different city at no cost. Instead of just saying they didnβt have the size and I could look online (like almost all retail stores do now) the gentleman help me out. The best part is that was the first time I had ever stepped foot in any whistle workwear store. I will definitely be coming back!

This was well worth the drive vs going to the one closer to my house. The staff are friendly and helpful. The inventory was everything I needed and more. The prices are reasonable and everything was on sale. They also had a huge variety of scrubs.

Love the store. Love the merchandise. I have never had a problem. Till today. I purchased two pairs of boots (had some extra money at the time) and saved a pair till the other wore out. I am a month into the second pair and there is a manufactures defect in one of the boots. I call in and explain the issue ahs I was told to bring it in. So i drive 40 min from work to where I bought the boots. I get there as I was told....We have a 6 month limit on manufacture defects. Well why didnt you say so on the phone? Thank you for wasting my time!!!!!!

Usually I love whistle workwear, I have been there about 4 or 5 times in the last year and each time Ive had great service BUT I went in a couple weeks ago to buy boots and left confused, frustrated and straight up annoyed. I wanted to try on a pair of mens Muck boots. I am normally a size 8, I asked the girl helping me to bring me a size 6 (because they were mens) but it CLEARLY states BOTH womens and mens sizes inside the boots, but she just stared at me blankly for a couple seconds and then told me the womens boots are over there... and points to the selection of about two pairs of womens shoes. I told her that I know and that I didnt want the womens ones and she just stared at me like an idiot again! She finally went and got me the boots after about 5 minutes of telling her that yes, I want mens boots because they are the exact same thing. She helped he try them on like they always do and oh how I loved her dirty looks. Every time I asked her a very simple question she looked at me like an idiot. Anyways, they only had steel toe boots in stock though so she told me she could order them in from a different store, so thats what we did. Not even five minutes after I left the store I got a call from this idiot that she had misinformed me and she would actually have to special order them which would take twice as long. Fine. So this brings us to today. I went in to pick up my boots that I have been waiting for for two and a half weeks. SHE ORDERED THE STEEL TOE BOOTS INSTEAD. The EXACT boots that I tired on in store. How stupid can you be?!? Why would I order them if they were in stock? And when I told them about the mistake she said oh thats what you said UH NO. That was the only reason that I ordered them was to get them NOT steel toe. Im so annoyed! She is as dumb as a bag of hammers!! I wish they would fire her because Im sure this cant be the only time she has made a stupid mistake like this. Maybe Im being harsh but I am so frustrated with that girl. BUT another lady that works there was very nice and apologized, told me she would order the correct boots, and give us ten percent off because of our trouble.
My experience has not changed sense the first time I went in to get boots. They really take care of you awnswer any questions and are there to help you choose the right gear.

Great service and has many options for mens work wear
First pair Merrill work shoes I bought were great, wore out after about 10 months. Which is decent for what they go through. Second pair of the same exact shoes I bought 10 months later had some defect in the heel and caused a heel spur to form in my foot. I can tell the difference when I put the first pair on compared to the second pair. Most painful foot problem Ive ever had. Months of therapy to cure it. Be careful buying shoes here. Its a 50/50 chance you will get a good pair or a bad pair.

They have a great staff but dont plan on writing a check here. They belong to Certegy who is a inaccurate information service. Never wrote a bad check in my whole life, but they declined my check there. I dont like doing business with companies that wont accept my checks.

Best selection of any workwear store Ive found. Its not easy to find a selection of womens construction boots and this place has been more than helpful in picking out a good pair. When I needed to replace my worn-out ones, I called and they located and held them for a week giving time to pick them up. Friendly workers, excellent customer experience overall. This is the only place Ill go for my workwear. Top notch.
