The people are awesome but the service isnt true unlimited and thats just tmobile. One minute youre connected and the next theres a drop; then the cycle repeats until 4 months down the line you decide to pay off your Verizon collections bill because they dont lie about their service - and there are no drops with Verizon.

Do NOT do a device trade in here! We traded in an iPhone 8 Plus 128 GB (in 2019), and it was apparently swapped for an iPhone 6 32GB, so we ended up with a $40 credit for the iphone6, rather than a substantial trade in credit we should have gotten. Do not trust make the same mistake! Also, be sure to take pics and document everything, as theres no recourse if this happens.

If I could give 6 stars I would to counteract Carls attempt at a zero star rating. Remember Carl, you used to have a Tracfone just think about that. T mobile saved from a life of humiliation and despair and you want to repay them with a zero star rating, because you cant find a parking spot for your Maserati? Now that T mobile has brought you to fame and fortune you turn on them? For shame Carl, for shame. You know Verizon is right across the street with a 20,000 year contract and you first 12 born if you want a landline with texts for 50 cents a letter, oh and no parking either. 😉

I was going to switch to Tmobile (and wish that I still could) but as it turns out I would have to change my phone number. I did not discover this issue until I was in the Wallingford store and the Tmobile agent was unable to port in my phone number. She told me to call customer care to resolve the issue, and after multiple calls and far too many minutes on hold, they instructed me to return to a store. Thankfully the agent at the store in the Udistrict was super helpful and we were able to cancel my contract. The agent who actually helped me said “they should have helped you at the other store” and I could not agree more.

If I could give 0 stars I would, and it applies jointly to this location and the overall service Im receiving from T-mobile. I was tricked into signing up to a friends and family promotion in this store. The representative didnt tell me upfront what conditions applied, and in the end I had to change the primary account holder to another friend who was changing carriers in order for the promotion to apply. At that point I had already spent almost an hour in the store for them to sign me up, and at that point I was already tired enough not to resist.I have only had problems with this promotion. I had to make 3 additional trips to the store for my account to correctly activate and change the account owner back to myself. The discount did not apply for my first 3 billing cycles and I had to call CS (~90 minutes wait, but luckily with callback) to get it to apply. When I wanted to change a number on the account, I was told that the promotion would no longer apply, but offered a different promotion instead which would not change the billing amount. On my next bill, I see the billing amount increased by $45. In short, only problems - T-Mobile is worse than Xfinity in terms of terms changing without an explanation.

Bought a phone here after a long overdue upgrade. Orange haired manager guy told me it would take an hour to transfer my old phone data over to my new iPhone. Took 5 minutes at home...That’s not how you build trust. Now wondering if his other advice and to keep my old plan and whatnot was relevant or helpful either. Oh well, another typical cell store experience.

Helpful visit but lacking a sales experience. I went there to buy a $200 item I had picked out, informed them I was a current Verizon customer, and interested in switching to T-Mobile. The team was great at processing my order but didnt really seem interested in talking, let alone selling me on the company. 😔

We switched a year ago and have probably been there 5 times. Each time the folks are very nice and very helpful. Doesnt matter if if it is a big or small issue they really help problem solve and fix things quickly.

Sometimes service took a while, but each rep I worked with went out of their way to make sure I got what I needed.I was switching over from Verizon and had to switch over my phone and then get added to my friends family plan. They helped me transfer over my device and walked me through everything from the easiest way to take advantage of current promotions to when switch my SIM so I didnt have a lapse in service (switching took a long time and I need my phone for work pretty much 24/7). I had an issue that only customer service could address, and the store staff waited on hold and talked to the customer service line for me even though thats not really part of their job.Im giving them four stars instead of five because the process of switching over was kind of a pain and took a while, but that had nothing to do with the staff at this location.

Walked in hoping to resolve a service issue with my, admittedly, old phone. The sales person - definitely couldnt call him a service person - Hassan, brushed aside any possible resolution, only sought to sell me a new phone. He was very quick to make sure that I had his card so he would get credit for the sale when I would, no doubt, come to my senses and return to make a purchase. Well, I was able to find resolution using Google, so I wont be returning anytime soon.

I would give this zero stars out of five if that were possible. This is my fourth time going in, and every single time that I have they have not helped me. I have waited over 30 minutes and no one was available to help me! Once, I went in and three people were working but nobody helped me over all that time. Just last night I went in and after waiting 10 minutes I left. They said they would be with me when they were done, and when I came back about 15 minutes later, I waited another 25 minutes. Two women were working, and the entire time they were with the same to customers. Its ridiculous. At this point, were thinking of moving all five lines to another carrier. T-Mobile is the worst.

I bought a G7 power less than two weeks ago from the lower Queen Ann location wanted to exchange it an the location on 45th. Over the phone they assured me that if I had bought the phone within 14 days and it wasnt damaged that it could be exchanged (or returned) at no extra charge without the box. When I arrived at the store 15 minutes later this was not the case. For 45 minuets they tried to recreate the issue or solve it by adjusting settings or factory reset. But the issue was only something that I noticed in comparison to the G7 I had before this one.. so after lots of being talked to like Im some kind of idiot they told me that I needed the original box charger and all the packaging... After they had just explicitly told me over the phone that I did not need it... So frustrating. An hour of my Saturday wasted.

This used to be my go to T mobile store years back. Walked into the store looking to update and get 2 new devices. Their representative Alec emmediately started with attitude and roadblocks.. Management should address this type of behavior, it really affects business in the customer service industry.

My screen broke because of the shoddy protector they recommended, but thats not why Im leaving this review. I came in to ask what my options were and was essentially told to buy a new phone or screw off because I didnt have insurance. No help, no suggestions, not even sympathy. Now Ill be paying more than I paid for this galaxy s8 just to get it fixed by some third party repair company, and be phoneless for who knows how long. As soon as my contract is up, Im ditching t-mobile like the scam they are.

This store mishandled my cell spot after I returned it. They did not follow-up to find it, and they have charged me $300 dollars and threatened to take me to collections. They are irresponsible, and cannot be accounted for to manage their poor clerks and terrible service. Because I am a customer I am powerless to get resolution to my problem. Why would I want to keep their terrible device? It did nothing to boost my already awful cell signal. I am more than disappointed. I would suggest to anyone to go well out of their way to avoid this particular store. But more importantly, you should consider another mobile provider.

I found the member of staff (Daniel) here who helped my wife and I to be very dishonest. We came in with very specific products in mind, and were sold something very different without the staff explaining it.My wife and I went in to get a family plan which would have given us 2 lines for a combined $80, with data for both lines. I explained this in detail to the staff member. Instead, we were set up with two independent lines and two extra data lines, costing $140 in total, and only one of our phone lines had data. It wasnt until my wife realized that she wasnt getting mobile data on her iphone that we figured out that the staff had deceived us or screwed up. I honestly cannot believe that a tech-savvy t-mobile employee would accidentally send someone out the door with a new smart phone and no data plan.Based on the number of other mistakes that the staff member made, I have to assume that he was simply trying to gouge us for as much as possible. In my opinion, he had the following intentional deceptions:1. He gave us more expensive, less useful phone plans than we had asked for, and would make sense for our phones.2. He signed us up for two $10/month extended warrantees that I would never had agreed to if he mentioned them out loud.3. He attempted to upsell us on overpriced accessories, going as far as to install them on my wifes phone without even telling her the price.4. He practically forced us to take extra sim cards for devices we didnt have, saying that they would be free, even though later we learned they cost us $10 a month.5. He told me that I needed at least 3 GB of data a month, and that I would need to download over 1GB of updates from t-mobile just to walk out the door. Of course, I didnt need to download anywhere near that much data over the mobile network, because I have wifi at home and work, as I told him.Overall, we were frustrated with the in-person experience, including the aggressive upsell of many products we didnt need. Later, when we realized that we had been deceived about what service we were being sold, we were angry. It should not be this hard to simply buy well advertised products and services from a household name of a cell company.
