This is a one stop, Even home depot takes their computers to this guy when their stuck. took my computer here many times. bought a mini Mack that gagit fix got stuck on the other day told him the problem. Computer love told me what the problem probably was. only gave him a 4 star because computers are expensive to repair but this guy will give you a free Diagnostic on your computer but it all depends on what the problem is.

Went in to troubleshoot an issue with my M.2 drives not posting correctly. Really helpful owner tested the components and fixed the issue like magic.Have been here two times in the past couple years and enjoy the friendly atmosphere, good service and direct communication.10/10 recommend this store if youre in the Seattle area.

If you have computer needs or issues this is the place to go. I had done my first PC build and could not boot into BIOS. The issue was simple but I never would have figured it out myself. The problem was fixed within a couple hours and now I feel relaxed knowing my build is in good shape. I’ve read other bad reviews and it seems people have unrealistic expectations. This place is top notch.

I highly recommend this place for all your computer repair needs. These friendly guys run a great shop. They managed to replace a dying hard drive on my 8 year old iMac desktop, and transfer all the data to the new drive. I paid a very small fraction of what full replacement of the computer would cost. Its now running better than ever and has at least another 4-5 years of life now. Im very happy!

Called them to get some guidance on battery replacement for my laptop. When I asked if I could order the battery with them but replace it myself, instead of giving me the adequate information, they turned me away thinking that they werent going to make any money off of me. Terrible customer service.

I found Computer Love in Google Search = used laptops in seattle wa. Today I bought my used DELL Latitude E6410 laptop. I recommend Computer Love because I found honesty, help, recommendations, trustworthy and real professionalism because he permitted that I checked the laptops; he explained me the pros and cons of both laptops and he has really fair and cheap prices for good machines.

Fair prices, quality work, professional and friendly service . I smashed my laptop up pretty good :/ Apple store had quoted me 750 just to problem shoot, but these guys had my laptop back in excellent working condition again for over 500 less. They know what they’re doing over here. I’m SO appreciative! Would recommend!

Dropped off my computer and had it back in less than a day. After diagnostic, the problem was quickly identified as a bad video card. I was very please to be presented with plenty of options: 1) buy an in-stock video card to be installed; 2) buy my own video card and bring in to install; or 3) pick up the computer and install my own video card on my own. I appreciate that the up-sell was not the only option presented, as replacing a video card is within my skills.Because I know the diagnostic and options will be quick and fair, I wont hesitate to bring in my computer to Computer Love next time!

Been to this place a Couple of times never bought nothing. Why not buy a brand new computer for the price for a used one? What’s good about this place you can work for them And build your own computer and get it I think Hands-on experience. (Disregard this review above) this is where I got my computer fixed,(A factory reset), It’s as simple as hitting that shift and reset key. Look on YouTube on how to do it! it will save you $80 to $120. A factory reset will fix almost everything on the computer. There’s two ways to do this do a fast sweep or start as brand new. One you need a portable drive, one saves part of your files. I suggest do the fast one first, if that don’t work do the factory reset, that will takes hours! but It will start your computer is brand new(everything will be erased though) use a portable drive for that to save your info!

I brought my MacBook Air at Computer Love for repair and I have no regrets. The technician was able to save my data and gave me a new hard drive at a very affordable cost. People here are honest, nice and efficient. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who has computer problems.

I highly recommend Matt at Computer Love. Ive had two experiences there with two computers, which were both positive. I find him to be really upfront, and he doesnt do any pushy sales stuff. His rates are surprisingly reasonable for the heart of Capitol Hill. He charged nothing to diagnose my computer. Fast turnaround, too--my computer was restored in 24 hours. I am not particularly computer savvy, and he did not talk down to me or make me feel like an idiot ;)

My computer stopped charging so I bought it here! They were very friendly and took it in. I think it was a day later they called me after the diagnostic and it was a part of my computer that wasnt working. AP at had to be ordered and a week later, my laptop was back in working condition! I thought it was reasonably priced (much cheaper than a new laptop).

On Monday morning, Matt responded to the email I sent early Sunday morning, quoting me a very reasonable price for installing a new keyboard both labor and parts. I showed up on Tuesday around noon with my laptop and the new keyboard which I already owned. He installed it for the price he quoted for labor, and it was ready before noon on Thursday. Great service, very reasonable prices, and a nice guy. Im glad both he and his business are in my neighborhood of Capitol Hill.

Called to find out if they could enable a particular function on a laptop. Was told You dont need to be able to do that, and was abruptly hung up on. Went to PC Fix in Ballard instead, where at least I was treated like a human being.

Took my computer in for a simple update for an older computer. A week later it stopped turning on and I called them once a week for a couple weeks.... because I now dont have a functional computer. They never answered me back and havent been open when I stopped by. Very frustrating to try and support a small business and a cute little shop... and not get any help. UGHHHHH. I work in IT and I honestly just dont know if I would take the chance. Just go somewhere else.

My computer crashed they diagnosed it for free. They went through and troubleshooted the problems and gave me options of what I can do. They ended up building me a great new computer for an affordable price. They were even able to save my hard drive and transfer it to the new computer.

Should give it 0 star. the man there is incredibly rude. charge me extra fee, without tell me before swipe card. when I said I dont wanna do it, give me money back. He charge me $50 for cancel order. “get out of my store” and slam the door. True story today, make my day.

When I call you and tell you that youve wasted my time, the only words out of your mouth are, Im sorry. Youre right. A phone call could have solved this.In the end, you couldnt fix the problem, though you claimed you worked on macs. If youd run the test on day 1 that you should have, we could have spared each other a lot of headache.And you wouldnt be facing a 1-star review.I will never shop here again.

Yes, indeedy, they did get my computer screen from out of the black and showing the desktop. Unfortunately before going in, I didnt look it up online because the next time this happened I found in 5 minutes the solution online. What Computer Love did wrong, was, without asking me, to remove my Norton Security System, to which I had recently purchased a new subscription, and Computer Love installed Avast in its place, telling me Norton slowed down my computer.... Now I get pop ups from Avast constantly, tricky ones that i have to read, trying to get me to Upgrade. No, I wont be returning to Computer Love ever again.

It was like taking my computer to a friend.I walked in, terrified that the screen on my macbook suddenly went black and stayed comatose after every reset attempt under the sun. The owner heard my story, diagnosed the issue before all of the words were out of my mouth, and was online looking into the best way to handle the situation. Turned out my specific laptop was blessed with a bad graphics card- an issue that affected all of the macbook pros for a 6 month period back in 2012- and Apple is having the company that made those cards cover the cost of a complete logic board replacement.Essentially, with only my best interest in mind, the owner sent me out the door with instructions to go directly to Apple to get the repair done for free which would have meant a $300-500 repair job for Computer Love. Doesnt get much better than that.Thank you guys enormously for this, your honesty and willingness to truly of help speaks volumes about how you run your business. Cheers to you.

Brought in a new laptop, ram, a harddrive, they installed the add-ons for $50. A few weeks later the extra hard drive stopped working, they took it, fixed it, added some foam around the hard drive so it wouldnt move around and get loose again. They were responsive, polite, did good work. 10/10 would return.

Unlike local competitor, which wanted $50 just to look at my laptop, Computer Love offers a free initial diagnostic. In my case, this told me that the failure of my USB port problem was most likely a motherboard, which would have cost more than laptop cost to begin with ($250). HIghly recommended.

I tried to install new RAM in my computer and my system went into a boot loop. I tried following a few instructions online and they suggested resetting the CMOS. I tried this, it didnt work and I took it to Computer Love on the suggestion of my friend (They replaced his busted motherboard).They performed the same CMOS reset in front of me when I dropped it off, and that did not work. I left it with them on Saturday and they came back next Thursday saying that CMOS wipe fixed the problem and increasing the RAM voltage in BIOS (which I told them had to be done with the new RAM). This seems pretty long for fixing such a simple problem. They also said that Windows did not boot and they might charge more to fix that. It turns out that the boot order was messed up and this confused Windows(Literally the first youtube video I searched for the error fixed it in a couple of minutes).Overall, if you dont want to touch your motherboard, Computer Love maybe good, but Im sure they can do a better job.
