Don’t get me wrong, they are very convenient when you have something that you need last minute. But they are ripping people off with price. I bought a half gallon of milk, A Ramen cup or noodle, a water bottle end it cost me $15.That’s insane. Lol
I asked the guy why the bottled drink was so expensive and he pointed at something next to the register and said, “Seattle”. I guess it’s a license to gouge people. I was surprised the drink was almost $5 and I only had $4 cash and wasn’t about to use my debit and be charged for using it on top of the overpriced item. I said I didn’t want the drink and he asked how much I have and sold it for $4. He said you can pay me next time. Lol. As if there will be a next time. Businesses like this aren’t doing much to help out
Pretty expensive. Bread, sugar, and some fruit does not $22 make. I think whole foods is far cheaper than this place. Provided no bill. The cashier was busy trying to get me to buy peaches, mangoes, milk, etc. Pleasant store owners but eager to sell. Understandable since things are priced so high. Wont visit again. Will rather take a short walk to another convenience store. Belltown has no shortage of them.
I love this place. Staff is always a pleasure and they let me bag my stuff so I can take which trips. I go here a few times a week. :)
Been in several times in the owner never wears a mask.
I love site 17. Theyre so kind and always greet me with a smile. Not the cheapest in the neighborhood, but completely worth it for the convenience and kindness.
Scam artist. I would stay away. I have purchased multiple things from this store which have gone bad. Shop owners are unwilling to help with bad products they sell. As others have said, prices change all the time. I recommend you walk the few extra feet to go-to another convenient store.
Cashiers make up their own prices. I work across the street and buy the same thing every time I go in? Weird how the price is always different.....this place is the wprst.
Rip-off!Stay away from this place!!
Great spot for a last minute items - and you can pop in when you walk the dog.
Walk up the block to Belltown grocery on 1st instead. I never leave reviews, but whew... this guy is a crook. He only labels like 25 per cent of his items and its insanely overpriced. And, the stuff that isnt labeled he makes up some even more absurd price. My girlfriend and i live right next to this place and we buy the same things and sometimes he will charge me 5 dollars more for something and sometimes its even ten dollars more. Be warned if you buy things here without a price tag. Seriously, walk up the hill to Belltown grocery, just as much selections and WAY more fair.
The store was small but had everything i needed everytime i went!Definitely a fav grocery in downtown~ and they have cats and dogs, if your lucky you get to see them.
Must stop here.
Very rude and unhelpful service! I was feeling sick and they did nothing to help, but want me to leave! They are asking for a lawsuit and do not know how to run their business!
Doesnt open on time. Ive been drinking coffee across the street for an hour
The owner is Korean and he is very kind. If you are staying around, please visit this shop.
