Cool place! The staff is very friendly and helpful... a nice young lady assisted me in finding the John Coltrane album my son wanted.I could probably spend a couple of hours flipping through all the vinyl, so fortunately they serve food, and have recently added a small bar upstairs. Im looking forward to returning the next time Im in Beautiful West Seattle!!π
Im here just for the food. When I arrived shortly after the store opened (at 9am), there were already patrons seated at tables and the diner counter. Such a well-liked neighborhood spot!I got an Easy Street burrito to go. It was well packed in a to-go box (not wrapped in aluminum paper, a little inconvenient but gives a more gourmet vibe). The portion wasnt huge, but the ingredients were very tightly packed, with hash browns on the side, as well as salsa and sour cream. The burrito is a little bit on the plain side, still very filling and overall I enjoyed it.Easy Street has such a casual, diner vibe but their food has a lot of attention to details, which I definitely appreciate.
I thoroughly enjoyed this place. It was a great place for local food. The breakfasts were very reasonably priced and the names were hilarious. I had the Dolly Parton Platter and it was amazing. Good portions as well. The atmosphere was good and there was a lot of art. Open air was nice since it was a nice day, there is a record store connected to it which has great prices and content. The entire experience was amazing.
This place is by far my favorite record store in Seattle. It took me a while to discover it and with the West Seattle Bridge being down and road workβ¦it can take a while to get to but itβs TOTALLY WORTH IT! They have such a great selection and just a really cool vibe to the place. Staff is super nice and the cafe and bar is a nice addition. Will definitely be going back as often as I can.
What a fun local spot! Upstairs one can grab a drink. The selection is great and if theres a record one is seeking out the staff can easily help track it down or order it.
Hands down the best breakfast Ive ever had. Oasis was playing on their sound system and it felt like a blast back to the 90s! The staff were very kind and answered all our questions. I really enjoyed looking through all of their records and reading all the signed art on their walls. Highly recommend visiting!
So glad we made the (now extra) long trek to West Seattle from the βmainland.β We grabbed food from the cafe there, which was one of the most reasonably priced and satisfying breakfast food Iβve ever had in Seattle. Great vibes and diner style set up. Solid vegetarian selection/vegetarian breakfast meats. Made our way over to the record shop side (the cafΓ© and recites shop are divided right now, I believe for COVID/capacity purposes). Best selection of vinyls weβve come across in Seattle! Canβt wait to return. Very friendly staff.
Literally never disappoints, been coming here since I moved to W Seattle over 4 years ago. Ive seen free shows, had great coffee, eaten awesome brunch food, and of course picked up and listened to fantastic music here. With a large selection of new and used vinyls, CDs, and tapes, this is the spot for your hard copy music needs in W Seattle. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and if you cant find something specific you are looking for, they want to help you figure out how or where to find it. Support local business and check it out!
Quite decent and venerable neighborhood record shop. Very friendly and knowlegable staff. Prices for used and rare classical and jazz vinyl albums are on the high side. Make sure to check all budget bins and unprocessed, un-priced stock held in racks beneath full-price bins.
Been shopping for music here since 1990, still have the first CD purchased there. It has changed a lot since then and now focuses on LPs.
When I lived in Seattle we would venture to West Seattle, this was one of the places I visited. Awesome store.
My new happy place. After living here for 3 years I finally got a chance to visit the cafe. The food and service is incredible. I love the vibe here, so artsy and laid back. A Seattle landmark to be treasured β€
Easy Street Records is my favorite records store in Seattle. Great variety, amazing atmosphere, several references to the local music (including but not limited to Grunge), and fair to slightly-expensive prices. Among other artists, Eddie Vedder performed here.Besides amazing records, they have a coffee shop inside of the store, and the coffee is absolutely fantastic! Dont forget to try it.
First visit to Easy Street. The staff were cheery and pleasant. The food unremarkable, unfortunately. My friend was happy with her Reuben, I not-so-much with my breakfast. It was alright. We ordered two Bloody Mary drinks only to be told that the bartender was not available. But we could have champagne, which I ordered. It was not very chilled, and oddly there was no ice in our water glasses or in the pitcher it was being poured from. Also, neither of us received ice for our Sprites. Luckily the little bottles were chilled. The ambiance was cool & the wait staff nice, but I am not running back anytime soon.
Always a great experience when browsing, Christy is an amazing employee!
Im a local and can honestly say this is one of my favorite places Ive ever been. Its just cool. I dont mean like Eh, its alright. Its cool. Its cool like your aunt who slipped you your first beer was cool. Like your grandad making sure you knew the difference between the Beatles, the Beach Boys, and the Stones. I genuinely love music - and I probably spend way too much money on albums, but I havent been in a record shop I love as much as Easy Street. The selection is rad, the employees are helpful and always happy to help, and they stock stuff you dont think you need until you need it - and then its right there! Top place.
Good breakfast options! Really enjoyed the ambience and meal with friends! Love the names of the various dishes on the menu!
This is one of the most amazing record stores. Itβs like a museum, two story building in an awesome part of West Seattle & it offers food & beverages.
Visited for the records. Nice collection. I will be back to try the cafe.
Records and Coffee, what more could you want. Classic west Seattle cafe serving hearty breakfast dishes with a diner style bar and upstairs seating. Thatβs only one half, the other is a full service record shop with equal amounts of vinyl and compact discs. They also have a dope collection of videos and other musical paraphernalia. A favorite of mine for a Sunday brunch.
Not usually one to leave 1 star reviews, but I had an incredibly terrible experience. Took over an hour to get our food, had to get up and refill my own water, wasnt greeted, and everyone was incredibly unfriendly. I understand theres labor shortages and whatnot, but this was an exceptionally terrible experience.
Went for brunch today. I ordered French Toast, soft eggs w/Cheese, and Vegan Bacon. I enjoyed everything on my plate. I was not disappointed. I was super impressed with the Vegan Bacon so good. I will eat there plenty more times.
Super disappointed in the cafe and the service. Ordered the tacos and they were served wrong. When I approached the server about correcting the issue, I was met with rudeness about the kitchen being closed shortly after they finished my order. The server and everyone behind the counter seemed confused and even rude about me not wanting to accept food that was made wrong. I even made sure when it ordering to clarify how I wanted the tacos TWICE. They even told the cashier who wrote my order wrong to do it differently next time but still seemed baffled that I didnβt want the food as is. I requested a refund since they made my order incorrectly but they were reluctant to give me a refund because they closed their register while I was waiting on my order. They offered me a cash refund for just the cost of the entree ignoring the tip and drink. Love the record store, would recommend avoiding the cafe at all costs.
Food was delicious! The bartender Patrick was awesome! Super nice and a chill atmosphere!
The Johnny Cash steak is an insult to the man in black. Way too oily and dry, very chewy despite being ordered medium rare, completely flavorless, the oil on it also tasted like it was old or going bad. Also for some reason it was insisted that the door be open and it was freezing in there. For the price point this place is a rip
One of my favorite record stores in the country. They are primarily new and used vinyl with a small selection of CDs. Great place to hang and browse.
I bought my dream vinyl from here a week ago and it came three days earlier than it was supposed to, Iβm so happy with the quality and packaging of it!
Been going here since I was a kid, love the atmosphere. The cafe has great breakfast and coffee. To top it off the owners are super Rad! Excited to check out the new bar.
Glad to have a well stocked record & cd store/breakfast place in the hood. Been a steady customer for 25 years +. For the past year or so theyve been switching focus to more vinyl, less cd. And in this Summer they just started serving beer & wine upstairs so thats a plus. Looking forward to tipping back a frosty one while Im shopping one of these days.
I enjoyed having the convenience of this place being close, but the food is not consistent and the cashier Rebecca is often rude.I brought a friend here from out of town and my friend noticed it as well. Said the food was good but the service sucked.I defended the place and said they were just busy, But I find it to be true. Great trendy place to come buy misic tho!Been here for food many times, but today, no more.β
Its a record store and an eatery. Fun combo. Music and food was off the hook. Would love to know how this combination came to be.
Atmosphere is off the chain! I miss the eating at the bar! Unfortunately, there were two bad experiences I had encountered with a bad female staff member. Her attitude was so bad, it almost made me not to return! This cashier was rude and obnoxious, not only to me but also to her colleagues! Me and my friends, felt so bad for the young guy. I believe his name was Jeremy? She truly misrepresents the facility!
Cool record shop and cafe. Found some Pearl Jam stuff I hadnt seen before.
A great place to check out a wild selection of vinyl, CDs, cassettes, and memorabilia. This record store/cafe respects and embraces the legacy of the Seattle sound, showing of artwork and posters from bands who represent the area. A must-visit sort of place for all fans of recorded and live music. I could get (and have gotten) lost four hours in the record bombsThe cafe also represents the music scene well, with cleverly named dishes and coffee.I cant wait to go back.
I like easy street as a record store. The food is pretty average in the Cafe, nothing too exceptional. Record store is 2 levels, has a nice selection. Mostly new records that are organized, all of the used ones are a nightmare to go through. Also the prices here are pretty high compared to many other shops in seattle. But they always get a large supply on Record Store Day, and they open rather early for it, so thats much appreciated.
Buyer beware of all mail orders from this establishment. A $400 order was not packaged securely and records were sliding all over in the box and arrived damaged. I notified the store and was told it wasnt their problem and to file a claim with the postal service. Youre way better off ordering records elsewhere.
Awesome shop so much cool music . Awesome people work their .
I was disappointed with my food here. I got the Ruben, and the sandwich itself was okay, nothing to write home about. The fries were all super soggy, maybe because they had packed them to go at first, before the sandwich was ready. I had my order switched to dine in, before it was ready.Tables were also not being bussed or cleaned, and they had a pretty strong lunch rush before I came close to 2.3 stars because they seem to be understaffed, and are probably having a hard time hiring right now. Regardless, I live a couple of blocks away, and donβt see myself coming back for the food, anytime soon.
Great Cafe with a cool vibe and fun record store.
If you are ever in search of a hard to find vinyl records, easy street is a place you should visit, they have a large collection.
Funky place in West Seattle that sells music and has a small restaurant. Food rating... Average
Unique WSEA eatery with stand-out menu options and excellent service. Expect long wait-times and high volume levels during peak weekend times. Recommend Mon-Fri instead. We keep going back because we love having great drip coffee (Caffe Vita), real maple syrup and extra crispy thick-cut bacon served with our pancakes and eggs. Nearby on street parking a challenge. Instead, look for access to one of several free public parking lots within a one block walk.
I loved going for breakfastEveryone was so friendly and helpful.I really enjoyed viewing all of the LPs. CDs etcThe Family found all of their favorites.
Legendary record store. Stopped in for a little rainy day retail therapy. Top floor, unsorted new arrivals section is dangerous.
Yippee! Always great. Hortons Heat Hash is a winner (provided you like hot).
Love stopping by when we are in town.Happened to be in town on Record Store Day a couple years ago. There was a limited edition Modest Mouse triangular single that was released that year.I came in much later than opening but still tested my luck. Nothing was found in the M section. I asked staff if they managed to have any more and was scoffed at, but it was okay. Itβs record store day and I was asking for a rare release. I deserved the scoff.I chose a couple other items and got in line. While waiting in line I spotted it. A green triangular Modest Mouse - Poison the Well album that someone must have changed their mind on and placed on a random shelf for me to find. As I grabbed it I swear I let out a small victory scoff.
Record shop -and- a nice place to catch breakfast with friends
Its hard to decide what I like best about this place, I know I should say the music so it makes me feel artsy, and I know I should say its the excellent service so it makes me feel appreciative but Im going to say its the food, because it makes me feel full and then I can really enjoy the honest no frills rapport between myself and the staff while enjoying really good music and hearing new music which is so important to not feeling stagnant and, thats something this place never is ....its always fresh but its always nostalgic and homie at the same time.
Very high volume of albums, LP and CD, and used DvDs. They most likely have what you ate looking for or many things youd be happy to buy. Havent tried the coffee yet.
The cafe was busy but short staffed in kitchen lots of help on the floor but not real organized. Food was good but took one hour and a half to sit till get we got food
Awesome place awesome people awesome food. And great prices as well
Seattle Best vinyl. Collection ever & west Seattle locals Favorite CAFE
Had the reubin Sammy. It was very good
Absolutely delicious eggs Benedict (only available on weekends). Great vibes.
Decent record store and if you are in the West Seattle area, I recommend checking it out. Otherwise, its a little pricey compared to other record shops in town. They occasionally hold mini concerts, so thats always cool, and I love going around and checking out the artwork on the walls. Overall, not bad, but your dollar would go farther at Everyday Music in Capitol Hill, for example
Great breakfast. James Browns are a must try. You have to place your order in order to be seated.
This place has a soul with great spirit.
I ordered online from CA and these guys have an amazing collection on hand that rivals my own local record stores. Overall great store and I canβt wait to come in person.
Absolutely love this place. The selection and vibe are unmatched. Easy Street Records is my favorite place to buy vinyl in Seattle.
Easy Street records and Cafe gives you just about everything you need to get your morning off right! The food is a traditional Americana menu with all the favorites and classics given really cool names like the Little Richard which is an item on their lighter fare side of the menu, two eggs any style two big pieces of thick cut bacon a big serving of hash browns and two pieces of toast for under 6 bucks!! Theres vegetarian omelettes and healthier options, oatmeal and dishes with only one piece of French toast or one pancake all extremely well priced under 7 Bucks and you couple that with a steaming hot cup of drip coffee for a dollar and no cost for refills and you had a wonderful breakfast with 5 cups of coffee while listening to Iron Maiden or the Foo Fighters or maybe its the Carpenters playing on the sound system this morning, and your day is starting off really good. But if youre hungry and you want the full meal it is here, for an average of $ $9 coffee and a tip youre out of there under $13 and really really full! Beer and Mimosas also available!
There are very few gems left on the West side. Easy Street is one of them. Do yourself a favor and grab some take out breakfast as your leaving the Farmers Market on a Sunday. Head upstairs a buy some vinyl even if you donβt own a record player. Give it to a friend that does. This place is an institution and run by some of the nicest peeps youβll ever know. Support the real ones!!!
This record store is one of my favorite places ever. Iβve bought several records and such from them and theyβve always had amazing customer service. Itβs honestly show stopping in there, if youβre ever in seattle itβs a landmark you need to go to just to even see the inside of it. I had a problem with a new record and they replaced it for a new one for me. Love this place will always get 5 stars from me.
Really good spot with some hard to find records like neutral milk hotel
Easy Street is always a delight of new, old and local music. No bs, just chill.
Eat and shop! Good service. Coming back for sure!
Been here a couple of times. Reasonable prices. Not so great this visit. Eggs over medium came out hard yokes. Bacon like beef jerky. Pancakes were tasty but really heavy. Not light and fluffy. Bought an easy street records face mask. They cost $8.80 each βΉοΈ
Great breakfast and lunch menu!
Service is hit or miss at the cafe. Waited almost 1 hour for 1 pancake. Waitress had a negative attitude and the hostess didnt clean the table before she seated us. I had to hand her the leftovers from the previous customers at our table.
Solid cafe food and not overpriced either
Come for the records, stay for the food. The entire atmosphere of this place is cool, chill, and feels classic Seattle. The record store side has a great selection and a ton of local Seattle merch and goodies (prints, mugs, glassware, pins, shirts, hoodies, patches etc...). If youβre hungry, highly recommend eating in the cafe. Although they serve all kinds of American food, their breakfast is great. Itβs delicious with a nod to all the feels of a diner. Menu items are named after famous musical artists (e.g. the Dolly Parton stack) and you canβt go wrong with whatever you order. Highly recommend trying the pancakes or the Easy Street Breakfast burrito. Make sure to add coffee to your order because they serve up Caffe Vita β¨ and the drip is soo good. When I first started coming here I came for the record store, then the coffee βοΈ and once I finally tried the food... itβs so good I now come for the food. Haha A staple in West Seattle, a must visit.
One of the best/biggest selections of new and used vinyl Iβve seen in Seattle so far. Also a big selling point for me is the quality of used vinyl. I have not yet had any playback issues with any of their vinyl! Canβt say the same for other stores in the Tacoma/Seattle region.Plus the owner and workers are insanely cooool people! They also have a good rewards program if you buy a certain amount of records you get a free one. Top tier record shop for sure!
Fantastic value. The food was great. Not expensive. Fairly quick order time. Hit all the high points of a diner.
Excellent selection, organization, and vibe! Need to stop by the cafΓ© next time around.
Possibly the best place on earth?! A Grunge mecca with incredible Chris Cornell mural beside the recreated Mother Love Bone artwork. The whole family enjoyed a delicious meal, tasty burgers, fries, pancakes and drinks. Also - service was polite and friendly. Spent a fair bit of π° here! βββββ
Record and coffee shop with good food and friendly service. I had the Hank Williams Western omelette ( add fresh jalapenos minus the sweet peppers & put the spicy aardvark sauce on your hash browns) with a double Americano, all was delicious and I would order again. My GF had the Easy Street burrito with spinach tortilla and finished the whole thing. Add some tapatio to your dish to top it off and youll leave happy and full. Great experience and cool atmosphere.
Hit or miss but has what we need all times
Writing about my disappointing experience today. After checking the website, I went into sell some CDs. When arriving at the store I was told they arent currently buying. I want to be clear I understand and support there decision to do that. I am disappointed that the website still says they are buying. Even the store letter board says they buy used media. They are actively giving false information. I am disappointed they dont do better. Updating a website is not difficult and take down the sign that says you are buying.
I love this place. A long time ago I saw a live performance here by Say Hi To Your Mom. Anytime I stop by they have the best selection of indie / grunge / metal / classic / modern hits on vinyl + CD. Ty EZ Street
Nice find in the middle of Ave.
The staff was amazing. Being a grunge and Pearl Jam enthusiasts, they gave me some history and made me feel welcomed. They even helped me get on the right bus to get me on my next adventure. The store itself, legendary!!
