This place is nice. I was able to get all I needed for my garden this year for a really reasonable price. Only complaint is the sale is always 11% and yet the sale never stops so its not a sale?

Okay this visit is why I dont like Menards. Walk into the front for customer service, to pick up online order. they tell you to go back to second aisle and turn right look for the awning for help walked outside couldnt find anything. came back asked for instruction again he said oh its in a very back corner of the store I said should I drive around and she said no you can just go through the store I walk back there. Then you can drive all the way to the back and load up back there and not walk through the whole dang store thats why Lowes is better.

Really like the ladies that work the paint counter. They are very helpful and friendly; the rest of the staff leaves a bit to be desired. Some of the checkers are rude. Overall a decent place to shop.

I like the Seldia location the best in my area. The staff is competent, the cashiers are friendly and disinfect between costumers, their shevels are well stocked.I like their nursery. The plant selection is good. I buy plants at the end of season. I have lost very few.

This was our first visit here. Nice, big store with friendly help. However, we stopped by to shop for plants. Very surprised and disappointed with with what we saw. They had lots of plants, but they were in terrible condition. We walked up and down all live goods aisles, but couldnt get over how poorly the plants looked. Too bad. I bought a nice shepherds hook, though!

I purchased a $160.00 inspection camera. When I got to my jobsite, 50 miles away, and opened it, I found all the packages inside the box were open. The sd card was in the camera with pictures on it and the scope on the end was caked with God knows what. This item had been used, returned, and put back on the shelf for resale. When calling the store all they would offer for a solution was for me to take my time to drive 50 miles back to the store for and even exchange for an unused camera. This to me is unacceptable. They made the mistake but refused to compensate me for my time and gas to make a second trip back to the store to exchange this item for a new one which I should have gotten to begin with. They could have atleast discounted it and credited me an equal amount to the restocking fee they charge on returns. Their customer service skills and valuation of their customers is below that of many other retailers. Very disappointed in the way they handled this.

Husband and I went to Menards looking for a refrigerator. They required masks. I told them I had a note from my doctor saying I was under his care and he didnt want me wearing masks. I offered to show her the note. She said no, she didnt want to see it and that I needed to leave immediately. She said she didnt care what my doctor said. We went to Lowes with no problem and bought a refrigerator there.

Another successful shopping trip to get paint, primer, knock down, drop cloths, Mason jars, detergent and a safe for my college kid. Used a rebate and will still get another rebate for 11% off. The savings just keep coming!

Story time... I ordered and paid for garage doors, waited 2 months for them to arrive at the store. Received an email stating they needed to be picked up by a certain date or they would sell them. Picked up only to find the order was incomplete and they were missing parts... Waited for the parts to arrive and decided since I had to make another trip Id take the trailer and pick up remesh panels. Picked up the parts and paid for the panels. Get to the lot to load to find out their inventory is wrong and they have none in stock. Yardman tossed my paperwork and told me to go back to the service desk. Get to the desk and ask for a corporate number I could call, nope not happening.. was told I could talk to Kenny a GM. I said okay but he never showed up. Basically they didnt care!!!

I love the 11% of sale, i save all kinds of money..

Company doesn’t care about customers or good staff, been unpleasant or bad last several times I’ve been there. This will be last place I’ll go! Lowes is so much better

This Menards was great! We drove over two hours to get here as our local Menards did not have the item we wanted. We were in and out within a matter of minutes! Efficient and friendly staff!

We love their variety they have in store, You cant shop without a mask though . No mask no service seems like. So were laying low shopping wise. The place aint nothing like it was prior to the virus !!!

Would give a zero star if I could. My mother and I went into the store. My mother has a lung conditions and cant wear a mask I have a spot on my lungs and wearing one makes it hard to breath. I have a service dog with me and the store was completely rude. We were able to shop but when we got to the check out there were five managers waiting for us. They yelled at my mother about not wearing a mask and then turned on me to scream at me. Told us we are not welcome in the store due to our health preventing us from wearing a mask. The told us the dog SERVICE DOG was not allowed in the store any longer. Needless to say I will never shop at Menards again. I will go to Lowes, Home Depot and anywhere else that are not mask Nazis. These people are rude and unhelpful.

These people are using unfair ways to get my money and something needs to be done about this. First they give me an eleven percent rebate and then the have the gall to stock their freezers with Hormel Black Label cherrywood and pecan smoked thick sliced bacon. I showed them though, I only bought ten packages and if I go back I am determined to not go over ten more packages. Who do they think they are dealing with anyway? Great place and we are treated extremely well.

Walked in they had exactly what I wanted help me load I was gone in less than 15 minutes. Yes a very good place to shop.

I dont normally write reviews of this nature, but Menards has raised my ire for the lack of customer care or concern. I had ordered an item in the late afternoon on one day and immediately the next morning I attempted to cancel the order. The company refused to do so and said it had already been shipped. It was sitting at their distribution center and did not ship for two more days. They charged me a 25% restocking fee on a 1600 dollar order. The manager at the Sedalia store tried to sound sympathetic but refused to waive the fee...and admitted he could have. If customers are not the concern or priority, then neither is my business with this company. They are highway robbers, cheats and liars.

So, over the last ten years Ive spent several hundred dollars per year on lumber alone at this store. Normally Ill pick out what I want, put it on a cart, take pictures of the SKU numbers, take that to register, pay and drive around to load up, saving a lot of wear and tear on my feet and not pushing a loaded cart through the store. Today, though, I was told I needed to go all the way back and get a pick ticket. Whatever that is. Im done. Ill go to any one of the rest of the places in town from now on, where arbitrary changes to procedure and irrelevant slips of paper dont get in between me giving them my money in exchange for some products.

Tried to shop, was told I needed a MASK even though I told the worker I had breathing issues with a mask and was vaccinated. He said it didn’t matter I needed a mask to shop there and we would not be checked out w/o a mask. My husband was next in line and told the clerk not check him out even thou he was wearing a mask. I told him I didn’t appreciate him discriminating against individuals with health issues. Needless to say we’ll have no problem by passing Menards and doing business with Lowe’s across the streetPlus if he was up on the latest mask rules, mask are NO LONGER REQUIRED INDOORS if vaccinated.

Drove total of 1.5 hours to make a purchase here. Saw no signs to wear a mask when walking in, no employee stopped us as my wife has a medical condition that allows her to not wear a mask. I was wearing mine.Walked the whole store, had a manager get an item down from top stock and get a price for us.Was ready to leave with a cart full of items $500+ and an employee stopped us and told my wife to put on a mask as it was mandatory, told him that she did not have one but we were leaving.Went straight to registers and a manager was waiting to let us know we were not checking out without her mask.So we left without purchase after him telling us there were no excuses that we could not check out without a mask.If we are going to follow these rules so closely somebody should have caught anyone at the door going in. All should be wearing masks correctly over nose and mouth.People at the registers should be 6 feet apart.Rules are rules and none of these were being followed by everyone in this store.

Lots of good stuff, but their one entrance and one exit system is terrible. There is no way to make a quick trip to grab an item you need. Its a 3 mile hike even if you want to buy a stick of gum.

Menards employees get a little too much joy in stealing your freedoms. Go to LOWES or Sutherlands, they actually love America.

Will not shop there anymore due to the communist obedience mask requirements, it doesn’t seem to matter if your vaccinated or what the CDC says, plenty of other places to shop!!!

Very unhappy with Menards today. Went all the way to the back of store just to watch 5 employees standing around, so I went to one and asked about some lumber he pointed me to outside. I went and looked around there where no prices to be found I got what I needed. Went to another employee and had him look up an item for me he was very helpful found what I needed went to pay and the price came up way high. The product we looked up was higher so they looked and we still had to pay higher also the two boards we got was $20 a piece. I was in shock. They are very misleading there.

Since the first time I entered a Menards, Ive been hooked. Their prices on most items are competitive and usually the lowest around and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I think every staff member knows exactly where every single item in the store is located. I love Menards.

Followed a man into the store through the exit door. My spouse is.days out of the hospital from back surgery and we were going close to this set of doors. A woman associate told us we had to exit and come back in. I told her his situation and she said they would not check us out. We went out and came back in. A lady named Penny refused to let them know we had complied. We have spent over 21k in this store remodeling our house. We will not be back. Everyone was hateful. We will throw away our $83 in rebates. We have had sub par service there before, but nothing like this. And yes, I snapped back at the two employees.

Rude rude employees when telling me to wear a mask. I walked in to get some lights and no one told me to wear one. Then I have a rude employee yelling at me to put one on. Like you can’t ask nicely. It was his first one and he said, put on masks or you will be removed from the store. Like rude. Never shopping here again. We have lows, ace and other hardware stores. I don’t mind putting one on but be rude about it then it makes me not even put one on. Just straight rude customer service!

On my last two online purchases, they did not send me the email confirmation with the 11% rebate. Update. They did get the rebate to me after contacting them several times.

My husband and I drove over 1 hr we went i side he had a mask on i didnt due to medical reasons we shopped for about 1 hour and help from. Employees no problem until we were leaving at checkout and a Rude manager came up to us and told us we couldnt check out with out my putting a mask on he was Rude and made a big ruckus. Left a full cart over $400 never again. Lowes even gives customers a free mask for people who need one. Im thinking we should speak with a attorney about discrimination against the disabled.

I will not shop at a Menards ever again. Ever since Covod, they have been rude, especially about masks. My husband was in the process of pulling up his mask as he walked into the store. The employee yelled at him to put on his mask, even though there were other customers without their masks on. My husband made a comment and continued on with his shopping. He was getting his stuff and an employee was following him around. He left due to the harassment and we wont ever go back. We have spent a lot of money in their remodeling our house. Lowes will have all of our business from now on.

They wouldnt let children into the store because of covid which is discriminatory against single parents who do not always have access to babysitters! I was literally told I couldnt come in because I had kids. And they are rude/disrespectful in general in that regard. Covid is basically the flu. And people who are health compromised and elderly could die just as easily by catching the flu. It should be peoples choice to wear a mask but guess our country isnt free anymore and we are all required to live in fear because media says so. Weve spent thousands of dollars there on appliances but not anymore, Id rather die than go there again.

We met Billy who helped us with our Amana gas stove. He knew where to find everything we needed. Even items not related to our stove! He was on the phone for hours gathering information for us. Thank you Billy!

When you walk into the store your going to walk right to what you want because their website is always correct. Unlike their closest competitor here. And if the site tells me its in stock it is. Great store with friendly service. Oh, and I never have to search for someone to assist me.

They refuse to honor our state and federal laws by treating all people equal regardless of race, sex, religion, place of origin, and disability.I was told by employees and store manager that I was not welcome on there “private” property with out a mask. ( even though I have a medical exemption.) they said I could shop online or they would have me removed.How is this any different than asking an African American to use the back entrance? Both classes are protected under the civil rights act of 1964.

Well, I was in a rush since my basement was flooding and my sump pump quit, so I already knew what I was looking for. The associate knew what aisle the pumps were on, but did not bother in assisting me. I feel sorry for someone who may have needed help as he just pointed and said the aisle number. The cashier was awesome and made sure I was out fast.

Had just what I needed and when I asked for help it was good to get my questions answered.

Went in to get a new refrigerator and they were very helpful. It will be delivered tomorrow and they will haul off the old one.

5/23. I purchased an air conditioner and knew I would need a different receptacle for it. After loading the air conditioner, the lady assisting me called electrical department which then gave However the face plate will work on the plug I had to purchase. Thats it for me. No more shopping at Menards.me a 125v which would not fit on my 230v plug in. This app doesnt even work roght.

The guy that helped us in building materials was very helpful and knowledgeable and the guy that helped us load in the yard was also very pleasant and outgoing. Plus they all wore their masks correctly!

Tired of them being out of what is needed. This time they are out of pellets and winter hasnt even started. Asked when there would be more. We dont think we will be getting any more..... seriously!!

Service is top notch. Selection and quality are equal to any other chain. Prices are competitive.

Paid the (very reasonable) fee to have my order pulled for me so I could just pick up. BUT, when I showed up with my mask on, I had to get past a close talking non-masked gate attendant to get access to the pick up area. The person who loaded my order wore a mask, but on the way out, the gate attendant who checked it was also unmasked. If I’d known they don’t enforce their own posted mask policy, I wouldn’t have ordered from them. I won’t be back.

This is the store you need. The selection and savings are tremendous. Add to that the knowledge of the staff plus their speed in helping you will make this the only hardware store you visit. The prices are always lower and the quality is equal to other stores nearby. Then the 11% rebates that come to you as store credit simply makes it even harder to beat this store.

This store has excellent employees. I have spoken to several people about the new 3$ charge to return an item. I purchased a led tree for 80$. The box said 5ft tall. The tree was barely 48. I needed a 5 ft tree. I returned it and they charged a 3$ fee. What the heck? Theyve done this to several others that Ive spoken to. No, I wont fight it. I will however, shop other stores to get things I need for my home.
