Great bike shop ! Bike selection is top notch. The staff is friendly and helpful. This shop was super busy when I went in, and they still got me taken care of and off to an epic day of riding on a great IBIS full suspension MTB.

Thunder Mountain is a gem inside of the gem that is Sedona. Great crew to work with & ride with. The build they put together for me was top notch as was the service & most of all the communication. I’ve been happy with them for every interaction I’ve had.

This is my go to bike shop for its over the top service ethic. Kind, competent, and quick. No attitude either, just outstanding care. Ive bought my last 5 bikes here and have not been disappointed. Rented some awesome MTB for the couple days I was in town on my honeymoon. Great advice and well maintained bikes- location is great. Would totally rent from them again and when Im in the market for a MTB I will cross shop with them even though I live 1500 miles away.

Thunder Mountain Bikes was a great place to rent bikes. Riding on the trails around Sedona was a must for my 12 yo when we visited Arizona. The expert staff found us the perfect bikes to ride and gave us great advice on where to go. It was a fantastic day in a beautiful part of the world. I told my son I’d remember the day for a really long time to which he responded that I’d remember it forever, very true. We will be back!

Even with the craziness of Memorial Day weekend these guys had us out riding in no time. Bringing bikes back was just as painless. Super professional, and highly recommended. Dream builds worth the cost if you cant get your own bike to Sedona, or want to live the high life.

I had a great experience at TM Bikes!Ian gave me an accurate quote for getting my old beach cruiser road worthy again. I got new tires, tubes and a chain and am back to riding.He helped me decide what kind of tires would work best for the streets and gravel around Sedona and my bike was ready in a few hours. It’s a super friendly shop and I felt totally welcome and appreciated the help getting it back into my truck. All around a great experience and I’m so glad we have a reliable place in town to help with my bike (and decal:) needs!

Cracked my wheel on my 1st ride in Sedona. Came out on a road trip from MI. This was the first place I went to get sorted, and I am glad I did. They fixed me up completely on the same day. Really cool shop. Snagged some cool stickers and socks too. They had some cool looking rentals. Would definitely recommend these guys.

These guys had some really high quality bikes (Evil Offering/Ibis) that allowed us to crush the trails around Sedona. They were very knowledgeable about trails and even had a handy little cloth map of the area that fits nicely in your pocket. The bikes were ready to go when we got there. The only thing I could say is it would have been nice if there were a later check in time than 6pm for the bikes, as it is just getting nice out for an evening ride at that time.

Needed a bottom bracket for my brothers bike. No one in Middle TN had it. Found it on Thunder Mountain Bikes website and made a note to rush the order. He races NICA and needed the repair done before his next race. They shipped it on Friday right after we ordered it and it was here early Monday morning! We are thrilled. Great service.

Rented a mountain bike for a week. It was in excellent repair. Rental included a spare tube, pump, tire iron and tools. Came in twice to have chain cleaned and lubed twice with no wait. Pleasant knowledgeable staff.Will rent from them again!!

They showed in stock at Thunder Mountain and so I called the physical store to check stock and low and behold the web store wasnt lying. I rented 2 mountain bikes throughout the week in Sedona. Thunder Mtn is well stocked with everything a rider could possibly need. They have a tremendous selection of high level bikes available in their fleet. If you book your rental ahead of time the bike will be set up for your weight (shock air pressure) and pedal preference ahead of your arrival. Great service!

The guys at thunder Mountain took great care of my group. I ended up having to change bike sizes and they were super accommodating. They also helped tweek saddle height for me and seemed to not want to rush us out of the shop at all. They did a great job! Bikes work flawlessly and they have a super nice selection in their dream bikes.

We could not have picked a better shop to rent bikes from. Our experience with TMB as a whole was awesome. The guys are super friendly, and just all around comfortable and great to deal with. It was our first trip to Sedona and us Florida boys wanted to do some real mtn biking. They were able to get us a couple bikes (which are sweet setups) last minute even though they were slammed with customers and reservations. Well 100% be back to see them on our next trip. Great shop with top of the line bikes. We flew into AZ and rented a Toyota Tacoma to have something to haul around the bikes. Thunder mountain provided a loaner tailgate pad at no extra cost. The bikes were in great condition and the suspension on both bikes and seat heights were dialed in perfect for our height and weight. We also used the recommended trail maps on their website to plan out our rides. Their recommendations and difficulty levels were very accurate.

As someone who currently works at another bike shop in another city and state, and has been in the bike industry for over 10 years, I have to hand it to these guys. They’re all professional, knowledgeable, down to earth people who work hard to have a nice shop and give exceptional customer service. There are two guys named James that we worked with and they were both fantastic. Squeezed in a same day repair I never thought would be possible. Great brands, great apparel, great accessories, and *super* helpful with local knowledge and trail beta. Keep up the solid work guys.

Great service. Bike was ready and set up well for me when I picked it up. I was offered trail advice and the staff were always very friendly. The Sedona trails were great fun and the bike was great value (Trek Fuel EX7) and performed well on all the trail I rode (normally intermediate with some black diamond section : Slim Shady, Little Horse etc) I would 100% reccomend Thunder Mountain Bikes for rentals. They also carry a good range of products in their shop.

We rented bikes while in town for spring break. These guys are professional and fast, shop was busy and customers inside limited because of COVID restrictions, even so, we arrived and were riding within 20 minutes. Our rentals were already tuned to our riding specs based on paperwork filled out online.We broke one of the brake levers on the rental and they had us repaired and out riding again before we could finish eating our lunch.Store also has a good selection of all necessary gear.We were able to ride from shop and find 2 days worth of trails (there is more, we just ran out of time). Last two days we rented a bike rack that fit our rental car for a reasonable price.Definitely recommend and hope to return soon!

Super disappointed in the bike shop staff and condition of the bikes we rented. Didn’t realize until we were on the trail that one bike had a malfunctioning dropper post and the other had stripped bolts on the pedals. The issues made a huge impact on our enjoyment of the trail. Will not rent from this shop again!

Rented mountain bikes from here for a couple days and was very happy overall. Bikes were in great condition, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable (definitely ask for trail recommendations!) and they even have bike racks available for your car which is extremely convenient. They had a rack on our rental car ready to go in 5 minutes flat and it was easy to use. Definitely recommend!

We called thunder mountain bikes and they said bring it by and we can have it done in 30 minutes and I thought yes OK lets see and we dropped it off and before we even got back to the RV Park where we were staying they had it done and both called and texted us to let us know. They replaced the tube, slimed both tires and only charged us $9.88 and said Hey good luck! 👍 Also they did not treat us like newbies they treated us like people who had been around mountain bikes forever and were very personable and professional. Great service all around around.

These guys are great. My saddle clamp snapped in half in the middle of a ride today. I made my way to town and Thunder Mountain was my first stop. They searched the shop until they found something that worked and let me get back on the trail. Outstanding service and a big help.Their shop also has everything you could need for a ride, and yesterday I was able to pick up the things I left at home and needed for an all day adventure.

Over the edge bike shop is a shop run by a great bunch of guys.
