Good quality and variety of products. Their food is fresh and the store is very nice. The staff is super friendly and they even have a man named Soliman play the guitar outside on occasions. The prices of the food here are more expensive than the other grocery stores in Sedona.

This is a nicely laid out grocery store. Produce is fresh. There is a decent sized bakery section. There is a large beer, wine and liquor selection. Prices on products range from reasonable to very inflated, depending on what the item is. (eg a liter of soda water was $2.39 when most places have the same item for about half that price).

Clarks Market and Pharmacy in the Village of Oak Creek is a nice place to shop. The store is clean and well organized. Cashiers and other employees are helpful and friendly. The deli makes fabulous sandwiches and great tasting daily specials. For a smaller store, they have a good variety of product. However, if your vegan or just dairy free/gluten free, other grocery stores might have a better selection of the foods youll want to eat. Clarks is a little on the pricey side which is to be expected since its a small town store.

Ive been shopping here since before it was a Clarks. The employees have been the same since then. During the sale, the previous owner protected their jobs. It shows. The attitude of most of them is like the people you meet at a bad DMV office. They are often too busy talking to each other to help and one of them whose name starts with an M, has snarked at me for more than 5 years.Yesterday, I had one item and I went to her checkout rather than use the self-check out in order to support clerks keeping their jobs. I had a few small bills and a $100. I dug through my purse to get the right change so she didnt have to change the big bill. Then I wanted to donate to the Veterans and I asked her to change the larger bill. She snapped NOT without a purchase! I thought about returning the item I just purchased, then buying it again with the $100, but there were too many other people in line.Thank you Clarks for installing self-service check-outs so I dont ever have to interact with this snarky, tenured, entitled employee again. I will cry not one bit when you go to full self-check. These employees are obviously oblivious to the importance of customer service.

Nice store, good selection, expensive. Bought tortillas and they were moldy— had to run to the store the following day and asked to return them. They were a little over 2 dollars and would likely not have gone out of the way had we not been going to the store anyway. The cashier was rude from the beginning. The manager came over and was polite and offered refund. The cashier seemed to insinuate she didn’t see enough mold and acted visibly annoyed and was very rude. I would pick a different store to give my business to next time.

I live here in Sedona and have been going here for years. For as long as I remember coming here you had to check the expiration date on everything before buying it if you didn’t want expired groceries.2 years ago they remodeled the store.Since then things have been much more expensive and even more expired since less people are buying them at the upmarked price. All that is peanuts compared to anything made in house though. I don’t think I could recommend an experience less than buying something from the desert or hot food counter.Last time I got a tiramisu there I am 100% sure it had been cut and put on display a minimum of 4 days prior, it was inedibly stale an inch deep on every side and hands down the most insulting thing I had ever paid money for.

I was travelling from out of state, I stopped by here to grab a few things. While shopping, several employees (including a manager) were in the process of kicking a service dog out. As someone who has a service dog and just happened not to bring him in, I was disgusted. The service dog was leashed, marked, and clearly well behaved. Ill never return to this place and I hope the owner is filing a case. Id be happy to be a witness.

Entered store with a friend who was carrying a 4 lbs pomeranian (psych service dog) and an associate in a snappy tone said, “Dogs aren’t allowed in the store. It’s a violation of health regulations.” Friend responded, “She’s a service dog.” Associate (we’ll assume her name is ‘Karen’...apologies to people named Karen) snapped back, “Well service dogs must be on a leash and on the ground.”We had her on a leash anyway so rather than argue the legality of what she demanded we put the little dog on the ground. (She was absolutely wrong, by the way...as per ADA rules, service dogs are to be on a leash or held.) Within a minute the little dog was nearly stepped on and run over with a cart, so I took her back outside.Friend picked up one item and went to checkout and Karen snidely said, “Oh, I see you don’t have the dog.”Well Happy Easter to you, Karen. We won’t be returning to Clarks and will be happy to relay this story to our friends. Am thinking sensitivity training is in order for Clark’s associates!Side note, a psych service dog senses a panic attack and licks it’s person in order to aid in resolving the panic attack.

Evening of 01/21/2021 - Passed through Sedona on the way home from Flagstaff with some friends. Stopped here to buy some ice cream and was surprised to see so many customers not wearing masks. Relayed my concern to friendly cashier who said the store does not want to confront customers over this at risk of causing an argument.Masks required signs/policies mean nothing if nothing is done to enforce them. Customers freedoms do not extend beyond infringing upon others rights to well-being and safety in the same vein as posted speed limit laws or smoke-free zones.Weigh your desire for increased profit margins/customer retention against the well-being of customers. I am not from Sedona, but it is common knowledge that residents here tend to be older, and thus, more at risk of severe COVID-19 complications and/or death.Wishing all who read this good health.

I had never been to Clarks Market & Pharmacy before tonight. Right through the doors I noticed the clean environment and the not too bright but not too dark lighting of the place. AVOID THIS STORE IF YOU ARE DISABLED. I have been disabled for 7 years. I am single and my life is extremely difficult. I have a service dog who is presently injured, making things more difficult. Today was my first time coming to this grocery store. Immediately after I entered the store (less than one minute), a older male employee approached me aggressively and told me in a very angry and accusatory way that my dog is not a service animal and if there was another complaint (his was the first complaint I have ever received about my dog, ever) that he would throw me out of the store. AVOID THIS STORE IF YOU ARE DISABLED. Horrible experience. I will never shop at this store again.

Maybe it’s weird to write a review for a grocery store, but I liked the service and options there. We are travelers and haven’t heard of Clark’s before, so we were unsure if it would have everything we need, or if we should drive 20 minutes to the Safeway in Sedona. Look no further! Clark’s is a full grocery store, comparable to Safeway and Marianos. They had everything we need, food, liquor, a pharmacy, and even duraflame logs for our Airbnb’s fireplace. The women at the registers were always so nice and patient with us. You don’t need to drive 20 minutes north, Clark’s has everything you need for staying in Oak Creek Village

Grocery store off the 179 with a wide range of items. 5 stars for the friendliness of the workers and the gelato (more to come) but 3 stars for the prices. I understand it’s located in Sedona but it was almost $5 for 2 pieces of ginger - I could get ginger in LA for 89 cents. Google maps also directed us the wrong way when we walked there and took us to the back of the store where the post office was located and there was a wall that prevents you from reaching the actual building. There’s a large parking lot and there was plenty of space when we went on a Saturday evening. There were some sales going on (ie 2 bags of ruffles for $5) but it was also $1.69 for a fried chicken thigh and $1.49 for a fried chicken leg.Now onto the gelato - I never thought I would write a review for a grocery store gelato but here we are. I loved the gelato (and I’ve eaten gelato at much nicer places). It was $5.49 for a medium and ~$7 for a pint, and they have a spinning wheel of the gelato flavors that greet you when you walk in. You can mix flavors and also sample. You pay for the gelato at the regular line. Logistics aside, the Belgian dark chocolate gelato was ridiculously creamy and smooth and came with small chunks of dark chocolate. We practically ran home so we could eat it. The pistachio was equally good with just the right amount of sweetness and real pistachio bits. They ask you what flavor you want on top so get your preferred flavor on the top, although if you want to be balanced, put the lighter flavor on top so it melds into the heavier one. One medium gelato was good for three of us. Honestly, I’d go back again just for the gelato.

I really enjoy coming into this store and usually the staff is very nice but tonight I came in and was trying to pay by credit and the system wouldn’t accept, but I use that card by credit all the time. The manager, JOHN, came over pretty much yelling at me that it was my card and I should know how to use it! I have never been spoken to that way in my life by a manager over such a simple transaction error. I explained that my bank advised me to use the card as credit to prevent fraud and he just kept yelling at me that I should know how to use my card. He was EXTREMELY rude. I was SHOCKED. I bring a lot of business to this store but after today, I’m not so excited to come in. A manager should not speak to customers that way! I hope this matter is addressed.

Been going to both the grocery and pharmacy for years. The grocery’s recent renovations look nice but it seems to be trying to be a Whole Foods... and all of this change has resulted in prices even higher than they already were. It’s unfortunate because it seems to be trying to cater more to tourists and part-time residents maybe. I and others were fine with how it looked before and preferred the previous prices. The store no longer carries some of the previous foods it always has and has more than doubled the previous prices on some items. The grocery staff are the absolute best anywhere, so I hope their pay meets their quality of work and small-town friendliness and helpfulness and that the new owner knows their value and expertise. Listen to staff and manager please, with any suggestions they have. Unfortunately, I now go to other stores in Sedona and elsewhere more often to get many items cheaper or that I can’t find here now. Another note—this pharmacy has always been hit or miss and has more than once left my elderly father: without a prescription filled on time, short the prescribed number of pills, with misinformed hassles about whether they can refill a prescription, and failing to let him know (with several days to fill it) that they didn’t have a supply of certain medicines... overall, a few times he’s been left last minute without crucial medicines due to their incompetence, lack of care and professionalism, organization, decency. You seriously need to renovate the functionality and professionalism of this pharmacy before you affect someone’s health in a serious way, lose your licenses, and lose customers. My dad and now i will not use this pharmacy again, which is sad because we always have.
