Update to this review - Home depot did call and issued me a refund for the 3 cases with broken product.Home depot is by far the worst customer service experience i have experienced in this country. I recently hired them for a flooring project and everything was a disaster. They charged me full before delivering the product, i had to call twice to figure out what happened to my order. Then they outsource to a third party to drop with whom you have to fight to get the product inside your house. He would insist on dropping it in the garage even if you have paid full price. Then comes the installation which is outsourced to another 3rd party in my case called Crew2, who on the day of installation charged me extra $312.50. No clear explanation of what that is, all you get is time and labor to level your flooring... by how much time? What area? No answers from crew2 or Home Depot. Then broken products. Three of the 26 cases were damaged, when i called for help, the manager left for the day at 4PM, no one called me back, Good Luck! go figure out on your own. When I called back the next day for refund, they want me to bring in the broken tiles, pictures are not enough for refund!! They will charge you $79 to send someone to pick the broken product but won’t refund your money. They have no shame in sub standard service or dropping off broken product but will promptly charge your card for everything. While i was trying to understand the $312 charge, they ordered the installers to stopped working. So what choice do you have once your house is upside down and work has stopped? I have never seen an unscrupulous organization ever in my life. I will take my business to Lowes! Much better customer service!!

Today was the best experience I think Ive ever had in a Home Depot. A Young Band by the name of Bryan helps me out today he got everything on my list did make me feel dumb and was super friendly. You have a very outstanding young man working for you
Do not go here unless you can help yourself. Mutliple times I have stood at paint and had customer service page for help in paint. I can see 9 orange aprons all standing around the front talking or on a device..... no one even looks up for the page. Young lady in customer service had to literally track down help. Sad really. If she was busy Id never get help.

Terrible customer service 😑 I will drive 30 miles to get what I need, before going to HOME DEPOT! I ordered a new washer and dryer. It took six weeks to be delivered. WRONG ONES!!!! THEN it took 6 weeks to pick it back up!!!! Needless to say I spent my $2,000.00 somewhere else on another set!!!!!
Stopped in last night and bought two heating elements and two thermostats for my hot water heater and the service was great everybody was very helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend trying out Seymours Home Depot.
We purchase a new American made oven,and the delivery guys were fantastic! Hauled the old one away and installed the new one. The were a fine crew working together and love the new stove! We have a new refrigerator coming next week and hope the same crew is back and excited about the new fridge!

Like all Home Depots, they are awesome. So much to offer. You could be in there for days and not see it all. If I was made of money Id buy so much of there things. Alot of cool stuff. Top notch stuff Im telling you. Friendly helpful service. Love the place.
Finding people who work here is a challenge, but just go in expecting the workers to tell you where products are...not to base what you need off advice.
A gentleman named William, I think he was from appliances. He was very helpful and gave me some good ideas for a project I was working on.

It is great to have them around when you absolutely need something but other than that try a local place. They have terrible low quality lumber at astronomical prices. I know prices have increased on lumber but they top them all. Plus they made record profits off all the people stuck home building during the pandemic. And they never shut down unlike many small shops were forced to do.

Home Depot sucked, about 6 of us only had a couple of items. Self check out was card only and only 1regular register open with lumber customers lined up. This was on a Saturday. I walked out with some other people, and have no intention of returning anytime soon.

I was very impressed with my experience at the Seymour Home Depot. I recently purchased a home and getting all new appliances was a first for me. Department Supervisor David Hill was extremely helpful in walking me through the entire process, going through the cost line by line, and making for a seamless purchase of a refrigerator, washer, and dryer. He worked with me on the price, too. They also had a much larger selection of appliances compared to Lowe’s and Menards in Columbus.

Dude, its bad, they dont know their own products, dont know where anything is at, and whats worst of all, they dont care. If you ask anyone that has a vest on they roll their eyes, and reluctantly try to find something to suffice you. Its terrible!

Im in home depot several, several times a week. The knowledgeable staff has me returning roughly 1/4 of what they say i need. When i know what i need, get it and get home, its a returned item with half the items missing. They dont check anything and just put it back on the shelf. Its just a waste of time. I use 84 limber for all my lumber, windows and doors, etc. But when i need mirrors, vanities, faucets, etc. Unfortunately, home depot is closest.

I hate Home Depot... especially this one. I think I have met 3 friendly people.... i just walked around for a good 30 minutes while wearing a baby and no one wanted to help me so I just left.... i got a garage door from them once and it was the hardest thing EVER!!! Broken door three times and the communication was AWFUL

I prefer HD over Lowe’s and Menards, but just like the Wal-mart next door, this particular store is lacking basics. The Garden Center is abysmal compared to Lowe’s in Columbus. I ordered (deposit) a carpet measurement and nobody showed. During the pandemic, I ordered a wheelbarrow for curbside pickup. It requires assembly, but local worker forgot to include the wheel. It seems every other time I visit, there is something astray. I hope this review leads to improvement. All best.

Its a huge place. I loved looking at e everything, but got lost several times. Yes, it was that big! So many things to choose from. Not to many floor people to assist, but they were around. If you cant find it here, I dont think its available. Great store. Personnel friendly. Prices very good. Loved the experience.
The wood beams were less to be desired. Prices were up from menards. But overall it has what you want. But sometimes not at cheapest price.
All register attendents would address customers as card only, we almost walked out as passing I said why only card only she said because of the change shortage, I replied well what if you have exact change she said well then thats ok. There is a big difference in card only to card or exact change only. Can you think of how many customers will walk out thinking they can only pay with card only. Home Depot you will go broke train your employees to use correct grammar is facilitating payment.

Well wasted a trip to purchase a milwaukie packout advertised only to find out the last one was stolen and they wouldnt honor the price if they ordered it for us....obviously they had others close to that price but wouldnt even offer a small discount for the inconvenience but instead said maybe you should of called ..That would be great if we had a way to call but some of us arent as privileged with good cell service..Obviously customer service is not there top priority at this seymour location !
Today I was a nightmare for the returns desk. I had tile that was leftover from my bathroom remodel: months old, purchased at different times, some online orders, some in a case package. The nice people at the customer service desk were fantastic and took the time to wade through the whole mess with me. They were courteous, considerate, and patient. I will forever be a Home Depot customer after this!
Its just great! One of the venders carries the Dixie Belle paints that I use and its saving me time, other than online/long distance purchases.
Had a hard time getting someone to help me find what I was looking for and when I did they acted like I was bothering them
My advice, do not buy an appliance here.

Okay, here we go lol. I ordered a new washer and dryer and had them delivered this past weekend. Everything was fine with that besides the delivery dudes making my house smell like good ol mary jane. You could tell what they were doing on their breaks. Lol, but to each their own. You do you boo boo. But then I needed a stacking kit for the said appliances, I ordered one and wasnt made aware that I needed to be home to sign for it, but thank Jesus, I have a job, and cant just be home to sign for a dang package at any time without being made aware. So, I missed it. Home Depot was very rude when I called asking about why I missed it and how to reschedule. That is all. Now Im done being a Karen.
We found what we were looking for, no thanks to the employees. We were there at least 30 minutes and not one employee said a word not even at the register since it was a U-Scan. I guess they just get paid to stock and not help customers.
Are you aware that Home Depot & homedepot.com are not affiliated with each other? I found this out the hard way when I ordered some fencing to be delivered to my home. When the fencing came we had already made other plans and didn’t need it. We tried to return this to the store with the receipt, the order number, and the merchandise. They told us they could not return it. We spent an hour and a half in the store, spoke with the store manager, spoke with the assistant manager, all to no avail. They would not return the merchandise telling us that Home Depot.com is a separate entity from them. They spent over an hour and a half on the phone trying to get this resolved to return it. I don’t understand what the problem is, except that Home Depot and HomeDepot.com or not affiliated with each other which is what we were told. Now it is five days later I have a pending charge for over $400 on my credit card, I have returned the merchandise and they still have not refunded my money. I don’t understand what the problem is, except that Home Depot and Home Depot.com or not affiliated with each other which is what we were told. This is my favorite place to shop. Its got all the necessaries for household repairs, maintenance, DIY projects, and building stuff. And, of course, they carry my favorite line of power tools, Ryobi!
The Seymour store will put all return items back on the shelf whether damaged or not. I had purchased a GFCI and had to return it because it would not reset. I had marked the box and found it back on the shelf the next day. I had also purchased a new impact driver and when got it home found it covered in grease and the front of it fell apart. You need to be careful when you purchase items from this store.
Had exactly what I needed
Good deals found in the store that werent shown online. Online locations are correct, but not intuitive. Cluttered, dark and not as clean as other stores. Might be because of it being a smaller store and trying to fit in as much as possible.

Came in last week for carpet quote. Had help from an employee in the department. Calculated carpet, padding and price. Drove 90 miles talked with the same employee only to have the Manager say not those carpets. They are not included in the free install. His response was she is new. Your poor training practices now are the responsibility of your customers to determine ahead of time. You just cost me a day off, 180 miles round trip in fuel and I feel like a bait and switch was done. Oh yea it says it every where if you read the advertisement versus speaking to our employee. Poor form Home Depot- very poor form.
